"S.H.I.E.L.D. technically no longer exists, but there was a Helicarrier in the sky. This place being open would be no surprise after that. Besides..." Danny got off the bike, taking the keys out and pocketing them, then pointed at a sign on the door that said, 'OPEN'. "...I think that would be pretty good hint." He smirked at Black Cat, showing that he was just poking fun at her.

Cat rolled her eyes and started for the door. He was right, she supposed. In light of everything that had happened, an open restaurant was... surprising, but hardly shocking.

Danny got to the door first, and held it open for Felicia (BLACK CAT! ARGH!). "Ladies first."

Cat smiled slightly, her eyes twinkling with held-back laughter, and went inside. It was actually a nice place... although now that she was thinking about it, the last thing she wanted was to be indoors again. Oh, well.

As he walked in, Danny looked at BLACK CAT'S (NOT FELICIA'S) face, and pretty much read her notions about being inside. Nor could he blame Felicia (DAMMIT!); he'd feel that way, too. "There's a couple tables outside in the back, too. Up to you."

Cat smile widened into something that was completely genuine. "I'd love that. We can watch the flaming hellicarrier descend into the bay," she added with mock wistfulness.

"Sounds intruiging," Danny replied in the same tone. As he walked towards the back door, he said, "And who knows, we might even be able to get through the meal without having some kind of hero-type emergency occuring."

Cat grinned mischievously. "Oh, I don't know. Sounds like fun!" And it did. Still smiling, she sauntered off toward the back patio. This was going to be soooo nice.

Holding the back door for Black Cat (definitely not Felicia), Danny quipped with, "But I thought you didn't LIKE hero stuff..." The smirk on his face was still intact.

"I don't like JUST doing the hero stuff," Cat clarified, sitting down at a table.

Danny walked to the table, and sat down next to her. "Ah. And where does the rediculously complimenting leather costume come into play with hero work? When you decide to do it, that is?"

She smirked. "Oh, you know. Distraction, mostly. If Rhino is staring like an idiot, I can walk right up and spray him in the face with tranquilizer gas."

"What you meant to say was, 'If Rhino was acting like himself', then, right?" Rhino's reputation as a world-class numbskull was legendary.

"No, no," Cat replied primly, "That's a common misconception. Usually he's charging at you or yelling at you to hold still."

"Oh, really? Does he ever do both at the same time?" Danny asked, noting that the waiter had paused in his tracks. Apparently, Rhino wasn't the only one suseptible to staring like an idiot.
