She froze and stared at him a moment.. did he just? She glanced around curiously.. did she fall asleep at some point? She pinched her arm... hard. "Ow! .... Ok... so I'm NOT dreaming.... " She glanced back at him "Did you really say that or did I hallucinate?" There was NO way he actually... felt that same way...

Azaroth regarded her curiously, touching the spot on her arm she'd just pinched. "You're not hallucinating, Rowena...are you alright?"

She had been looking at her arm and muttered to herself "I've got to be reading into things again.." Forgetting he was there until he spoke. She blinked and nodded absently, giving a half smile "Yeah.. I'm good." She glanced up at him "Ok... I really think I'm misunderstanding, since that seems to be my trend lately, so pretend I'm really stupid and tell what exactly you.. meant."

She blinked again.. well... that was a surprise "Oh... so I wasn't reading into things after all." She sighed and repressed a giggle "I drove myself crazy for nothing... all this time trying to not let things show... " She snorted to herself and peered at him "We're a couple of idiots..."

Azaroth blinked, that was not the reaction he'd expected- Wait... "Trying not to let what show?" he asked tilting his head to the side.

She raised an eyebrow and smirked at him "You couldn't tell? And here I thought I was being too obvious." She fingered her necklace, shrugged, and gave him an almost shy smile "I'm in love with you too Azy..."

She gave him a look "Well.. for awhile there you were still hung up on Delilah... then she showed up and all that stuff happened." She shrugged "I didn't think it was worth mentioning and possibly ruining the friendship. Why didn't YOU say anything?"

She smiled "I can believe that. It took awhile for me to figure it out too... but I'm pretty sure I knew before you did... since it was right around the ball and before we discovered Delilah was here..." She looked down, still playing with her necklace "Sooo.. now what?"

She frowned "I wasn't running... you just drove me crazy. I thought I was reading into things and I was terrified of letting something slip. Plus I thought you still wanted to be with Lilah despite you saying otherwise. I was trying to give you space so you could be happy.." She sighed "I was trying to put some space between us so I wouldn't go crazy..."

She glared "Yes... I never know what your thinking or why you acted as you did. It was very disconcerting to keep getting that hoping feeling then having to remind myself that you DIDN'T like me the same way.... only to find out now that you actually did and I suppose I should just trust my instincts from now on..." She broke down for nothing. She was glad he didn't know about that. "I guess I can understand more now on why you glared at Komori so much.."
