Laughing at the fact that he had scared his sister Stephen jumped around excitedly. It was finely time to start his super cool ninja journey! He and Sparky were going to become the best pair ever and no one could say anything about it. "Yeah! It's about time sis!" Stephen stuck his tongue out at her a movement which Sparky imitated. Without waiting for anything else Stephen and Sparky charged through the house garden yelling and whooping in excitement.
Suddenly a wild Pidgey showed up out of no where! "All right Sparky our first battle! Use your Ice Punch!"
The small plug pokemon charged forward and delivered a mighty icy blow to Pidgey killing it in one hit. "Elekid!" Sparky cried waving his large arms around in the air in victory.
"Woohoo Sparky! You are all ready the strongest pokemon ever!"

"No way, Mimi could kick Sparkys butt any day!" Abby shouted, crossing her arms. Her brother was so annoying he would never just shut up! "You're being stupid!"
"Abby, you're not supposed to call your brother stupid," said their mom who suddenly was at the backdoor of their large house. She was frowning. "Sorry mom," Abby said with a sorry smile, suddenly a angel. "Just dont do it again! And by the way kids there is a party tomorrow in Slateport in Hoenn, do you want to go with your Pokemon? We can drop you off in our yact."
Abby nodded with a big grin, "That sounds like a lotta fun, what do you think Stephen?"

Kasiya closed her eyes and leaned back against the tree, wondering what her new little Pokemon would be like. It was amazing how Pokemon were all different not only in species but personality as well. Like how Mike's little Magby, Napalm, was a playful little bundle of fire and Kilik's Elekid was a little on the timid side - a trait he would no doubt grow out of once he was older.
Kasiya watched as Serenity recalled the sleeping Oddish and smiled, unable to stop herself from wondering if Serenity would someday evolve her into a Bellossom or a Vileplume. "Yeah I think it's about that time," she nodded, stifling a yawn. Today had been a busy day and she was feeling quite drained by now. The thought of sleeping on the beach tonight wasn't exactly appealing to her but then again she didn't have to rush off to Slateport in such a hurry. After all, the party didn't start until tomorrow.
"Levi! It's time to come in!" she called out to the water. Even Levi's silhouette seemed to be disappointed, but the Marshtomp decided not to question authority. She gave George that 'we'd better go now or we'll be in trouble' look and began to swim for shore. I wonder if Keegan got my message about me going ahead... and if he'll come to Slateport too... her thoughts tumbled around in her head as Levi's form grew larger and larger. Kasiya had to rub her eyes - for a moment she could swear she saw a Swampert swimming towards her but the illusion lasted only a moment. Maybe someday, she thought, greeting the mud fish as she reached the beach.
=-=-=-=-= Jaeshan laughed out loud at Robin's bad pun - he'd been thinking something similar as they started walking. Mightyena obviously didn't think it was funny and he just kept walking. It didn't take them long to find the Slateport Bazaar, and Jaeshan was a little surprised to see that it was indeed open - and there were actually people shopping. Are they looking for late-night bargains? Jaeshan thought as they approached the many stalls lining the area. He looked around somewhat casually, wondering if he should spend some money - it wasn't as though he hadn't earned it, but a part of him felt a little bad about going shopping. His father had always tried to teach him to be careful with his money.
As he passed by the TM stall, Jaeshan couldn't help but have a look through the rows upon rows of glimmering discs. Without even realizing it he picked up two for Mightyena, subconsciously knowing that the canine needed more diversity in his attacks. He also picked up one for Shelgon and one for Combusken. He didn't know enough about Beldum yet to be buying TMs for it, so once he'd studied up on the Steel/Psychic-type a bit then maybe the odd Pokemon would gain a new move or two. He handed the discs to the woman behind the stall, who checked them over before handing them back. "Ooh, big spender," she giggled playfully as Jaeshan handed over the cash.
"Yeah, but it's been a long time coming," he replied with a smile. His wallet felt a little flatter but he knew that each TM he'd selected would be used well by each of his Pokemon, and that was enough to justify the purchases in his mind. He stepped off to the side to wait for Robin and M.A. to do their shopping, deciding there was no time like the present to teach his Pokemon their moves. The first two discs he applied to Mightyena's forehead, and the Pokemon growled appreciatively as the knowledge of the two moves settled in his mind. Next, he taught a move to Shelgon, and finally one to Combusken. He then recalled them each into their Pokeballs, a smile etched on his face while he waited.

Now that his opponent was confused, Helios took the opportunity to jump back through the wall of flames, feeling nothing but a bit of a tickle as the flames licked at his highly-resistant fur. The Golem let out an angry roar from behind him, and as the Vulpix looked over his shoulder to see what was happening Tierra jumped out at him, bursting through the flames and managing to make herself look quite scary in the process. Helios tried to flee but the Golem had gained quite a bit of speed somehow and she caught the little fox in the side with a Rock Smash.
Keegan frowned a little at the hit, and sighed. "Okay guys, that's enough for now," he called, holding up Tierra's Great Ball in order to recall her, and remove the confusion from Helios' Confuse Ray at the same time. Panting a bit Helios trotted across the sand towards his trainer as he released Tierra again, who stretched and sighed, now able to see clearly again. She looked down at the tiny Vulpix and snatched him up in one of her powerful, clawed hands before setting him up on her back. Keegan smiled at this - it was the first time the Golem had shown any kind of friendliness towards a member of her team. "You guys are awesome," he then said, patting Helios on the head and Tierra on the arm. Tierra grinned at her trainer and slapped him hard on the back - so hard in fact, that Keegan crumpled to the ground from her strength. "Uh... thanks for that," he chuckled, pulling himself up to his knees and brushing the sand off of his clothes. "Artemis and Loki, you guys are up next!"
It was obvious that the two were quite anxious to start as they practically raced onto the makeshift battlefield. Meanwhile, Themis and Althena exchanged a glance - that meant they'd be sparing with each other. Althena frowned a little at that. How was she supposed to beat an electric type? But then again, they weren't out to beat each other, just practice. The Golduck settled back down in the sand, preparing to watch the Swellow and Arbok. ===== The Flareon tried to retaliate with a weak Flamethrower, but its mark was off by quite a bit. Aska flew up into the air, an amused glimmer in her sharp eyes. She turned in midair and dived at her opponent, white light trailing behind her as she caught the Flareon in the side with a Quick Attack. The fire type slumped, unable to continue and Komay was forced to call it back. The girl shrugged her shoulders towards her sisters and laughed. "Good match, Miharu! Your Pidgeotto is awesome! Smart and tough, the best combo in a Pokemon." She gave a little bow and backed off, looking to Temayo.
"I guess it's my turn now," the girl with the dark kimono said, stepping forward. Miharu already had an idea of what she'd be facing even as the girl tossed out her Pokeball. Temayo's Umbreon was nothing short of lovely - its velvety soft fur looked well kept and the rings around its legs and ears were glimmering in the sunlight. It glanced up at Aska in a friendly manner, looking eager to begin.
"Let's make this a good one!" Satsuki called, raising both of her arms high in the air. "Begin!"

Not feeling so bad about her bad pun Robin giggled somewhat and was about to say something when Luffy pranced around on her shoulder making a few excited sounds. "Luffy?" Glancing up at him she saw him pointing to the approaching bazaar. "Wow so that's the bazaar." Looking at the people milling around Robin reached into her bag and checked her wallet to see what kid of money she had. She hadn't really been paying all that much attention to all the money she had been winning from battles so her eyes widened with amazement. Sure it wasn't all that much but it was still more money that Robin had ever had before. Grinning happily Robin wondered what she could get, maybe a whole bunch of things!
To busy with the amount of money she had Robin failed to notice Luffy leaping off of her shoulder. She also missed the startled and somewhat angry cry of a shop keeper as Luffy grabbed a shiny brown disk from the table. Unfortunately these were the real deal and the moment Luffy touched it the disk brightened up and the move it contained was learned. It was a good thing the shop keeper was paying attention and grabbed Luffy before he could grab another one because Robin would only be able to pay for one. Slinging the Aipom under his arm the angry shop keep stomped over to where Robin was standing and shoved him into her arms. "Your Aipom just used one of my TM's with out paying!"
Startled somewhat Robin stared at the man before grinning sheepishly. "Erm sorry about that, would it be ok if I paid for it right now?"
"You better pay for it! That's 2000!" Sticking his hand out expectantly the shopkeeper glared at Robin.
Hearing the cost Robin's jaw dropped slightly! Things were so expensive! Thank goodness she had enough money but that was over half of her savings! Grumbling slightly Robin took the money out and handed it over to the shopkeeper who brightened up considerably.
"Thank you very much for your business! I hope to see you again!"
Robin glared over at Luffy who just looked innocent. "Well I hope you are happy with yourself and whatever move you picked helps us out." Luffy just gave her a happy look and didn't mind it when Robin grabbed his tail to make sure he didn't go anywhere else. Not wanting to lose anymore money and not sure if she could pay for anything else. she stomped out of the market her face flushed in anger.

Train finally exited the store maybe an hour later, wearing a new outfit, and also with a new haircut. She quite liked her new look, and was actually glad she'd ended up falling, because she liked it much better than her old clothes and hairstyle.
"Alright, Pikachu, ready to get going?" Train asked her Pokemon, who nodded and took his usual perch on her shoulder. Train adjusted her new messenger bag, then began walking to the path that led out the city, wondering how long it would take her to reach Saffron.
She had studied her Town Map while inside the store, and was pretty sure she could remember the route. Well, even if she forgot, at least she had the map right in her bag, so that she could look at it if she needed to.

Sentret just sat on the ground and moped, and Kurine hesitated, not sure what to do. But, in that moment of hesitation, the Hoothoot Tackled Sentret, knocking the the Pokemon over, and also causing it to become even more annoyed.
"Sentret, Scra--" Kurine started, but Sentret angrily cried, "Sen!" and swiped at the Hoothoot on his own. The wild Hoothoot staggered back from the attack while Kurine stared uncertainly at her Pokemon. But the Hoothoot got over the attack quickly and a gave low Growl, lowering Sentret's Attack.
"Defense Curl!" Kurine said in a hardly firm voice, but Sentret simply ignored her completely and lurched forward to scratch at the Hoothoot again. "Sentret, why won't you listen to me?" Kurine cried unhappily. The wild Hoothoot used Tackle again, sending Sentret tumbling backwards. Sentret regained his feet quickly enough, and used Foresight before Kurine could even begin to speak, obviously trying to hear her voice as little as he could.

When Keegan gave the signal, both Pokemon moved in to attack. Loki was first; rearing back his head and hissing loudly before firing a volley of venomous needles at Artemis. The Swellow only smirked before splitting into several copies, the needles hitting nothing but an empty space now that the bird was no longer there. The Arbok let out an annoyed growl, eying the five birds dangerously. He reared back again, this time shooting a large glob of toxic glop at the nearest Swellow, growling again when it passed through harmlessly. Meanwhile, Artemis seemed to be laughing as she and her remaining copies flew around the battlefield. At the moment she felt untouchable and it was great! She sped through the air, deciding then to use Focus Energy to build up her adrenalin. The bird's body (each clone doing the same) seemed to shimmer with energy and Artemis let out a loud screech, now feeling quite ready to teach that overgrown grass snake a lesson.
The Arbok growled again before opening his mouth and spitting a yellowish liquid in a wide spread at the birds. The Acid sizzled as it splashed on the sand and also took out two more of the clones, leaving just one and the real Artemis. The pair of Swellow then dove down towards Loki, who weaved out of the way of the first bird before snapping his jaws at the second as a counterstrike. The cobra was a little surprised to find that he'd chomped nothing but air, but now he knew for sure which bird to be attacking. ===== Aska seemed quite eager to begin the fight, noted by the loud screech she let out before flying up into the air. She began to flap her wings rapidly, and at first Miharu thought she was going to use Gust or Twister. But instead of causing a tornado to form, large feathers began to fall to the ground around the Umbreon, landing on its head and back. The dark type shook itself, trying to get the feathers off of it. Aska used the opportunity to dive down and attack the Umbreon with a Quick Attack.
Hey, that was Featherdance, Miharu thought, blinking slowly. That mean that Aska was definitely growing stronger, and quite rapidly at that. The Umbreon let out a cry as Aska slashed at it with her claws, but the dark type wasn't ready to give in that easily. Its eyes flashed with a dark look before it lunged at the Pidgeotto, its body glowing with a creepy, purplish aura. Miharu recognized the move as Pursuit, and winced as Aska let out a pained cry. She didn't know how much longer the bird could continue.

Levi started to come in and although George had no intention of going back into shore right now he also had a sneaking suspicion that if he didn't go in with Levi then his trainer would come out to get him, and she wasn't sure if Serenity even knew how to swim. Insted of having to see his trainer flounder around in the water trying to get to him, he waddled out after the marshtomp. When he got up to where the two trainers were sitting he noticed that the oddish was no longer on Sere's lap.
"Mudkip?" George said poking Serenity's lap.
"Hi sweetheart. I put Raddish in her ball. She was sleeping." She said. She pat the mudkip on the head. "That means your space is free." She patted her lap. George took that as a sign to jump up and make him self comfortable on her lap. He hadn't realized how tired he was until he got into the folds of his trainers skirt. Very soon he was snoring away.
"I guess he's done for today." Sere yawned. "I think that I'm almost done too."

Artemis glared down at Loki and let out an indignant screech - she'd came only a few inches away from feeling those fangs sinking into her. The Swellow then dived at Loki again, tucking her wings and legs close to her as she sped towards her target. When she was close enough she stretched out her right wing and smacked Loki right on the back of the head with a rather well-aimed Wing Attack, and this made the Arbok quite angrily. Artemis had underestimated Loki's reaction time and the cobra quickly fought back by swinging his tail up and catching her in the belly. Grunting, Artemis flew up and out of his reach, trying to catch her breath. It seemed Loki was also smarter than she was giving him credit for.
Loki hissed again before lobbing a Sludge Bomb at Artemis. The Swellow let out an angry screech before holding up her left wing. It shone brightly with a metallic hue, and Artemis swung her Steel Wing at the sludge like it were a ball, and then it went sailing back down towards Loki, who simply moved to the side. Keegan nodded in approval - it was quite smart of Artemis to deflect the Sludge Bomb like that, and he couldn't help but wonder what else his two Pokemon would do before their training match would end. ===== Temayo pointed up at the Pidgeotto before glancing at her Pokemon. "Okay now, Umbreon! Confuse Ray, go!" she called, and the dark type obeyed quickly and without question. A sinister glow shone in its eyes, and Aska shuddered, feeling a chill crawling up her spine. After only a moment or so, her head began to feel heavy and a cloudy haze creep slowly into her vision. Very suddenly she didn't know which way she was flying or if she were even airborne anymore. The Pidgeotto could scarcely hear Miharu's voice, but it seemed so faint and far away.
Aska closed her eyes, trying to focus her sights on the Umbreon. It seemed to work for a moment, because she caught sight of the dark Pokemon, and she sped towards it, lashing out with an unavoidable Aerial Ace. Her attack hit home, but the Umbreon lunged at her and bashed into her with a fairly strong Tackle attack. All at once the muddled feeling came back to her, and it once again turned into a struggle to not crash into the ground, let alone attack or dodge any incoming attacks.

Artemis continued to circle around above the battlefield, looking down at Loki as she thought of a plan of attack. Loki, meanwhile, seemed to hunker down and wait, his body glowing a little as energy seemed to be absorbed into him. Stockpile, Keegan thought. He'd forgotten Loki could even use it. Doing so had given Loki a temporary boost in his defenses, so when Artemis dive-bombed him with a Quick Attack the blow was somewhat cushioned. He Stockpiled again, feeling more energy flow into him as he continued to watch and wait. He was a snake, and snakes were excellent hunters, blessed with an incredible streak of patience. Not only that, but snakes were quite fond of dining on birds. Not that he actually would try to eat Artemis. Probably.
Artemis, meanwhile, wasn't very fond of the way Loki was just sitting there, waiting. It made her nervous that he wasn't attacking. Just then, to the right of the Arbok, something shiny caught her eye. Now Artemis wasn't the type of Pokemon to be attracted to shiny objects, but for some reason this one caught her attention. She focused her attention on it and dived down once again, but this time instead of attacking Loki she spread her claws wide and snatched the glimmering object from the sand. Loki's eyes opened wide as the speeding Swellow careened past him, kicking up a bit of sand as she did so.
"Sand-Attack?" Keegan questioned aloud, scratching the back of his head. He'd never heard of a Swellow being able to use that kind of move before. However, his thoughts were cut short as the red and blue bird flew over to him and dropped the item she'd grabbed from the sand onto his head, screeching with laughter as it bounced into the sand at his feet. Grumbling from the pain Keegan bent down to pick up whatever it was he'd just been attacked with, and his eyes opened wide when he realized what he was holding onto. ===== Somehow the confused Pidgeotto managed to make it to the ground without hurting herself, but she found that even standing was practically impossible. The world kept tilting and slanting, and the Pidgeotto's head was so clouded that she didn't hear her trainer calling to her nor did she see the Umbreon coming at her like a streaking, black comet. The Quick Attack hit home and Aska tumbled across the ground, coming to rest at Miharu's feet. She cooed weakly as Miharu bent down beside her. "You were awesome, Aska! You deserve a good rest." She gently kissed the bird's forehead before recalling her, and she stood up, brushing the dust from her knees.
She then selected a different Pokeball and enlarged it with a click of a button. "Alright Tingle, it's your turn!" she shouted as she threw the sphere. Tingle appeared in front of her, for once facing the right way. The Metang carefully eyed the Umbreon in front of it, flexing its sharp, metallic claws as it prepared to fight. Miharu closed her eyes, remembering that Tingle's psychic type attacks would do nothing against the dark type Umbreon, but it still had a lot of other attacks at its disposal. "Tingle, start off with Metal Claw!" Tingle rubbed its 'hands' together before shooting off like a rocket at the Umbreon, its right claw extended as it prepared to strike. The Umbreon didn't even really have time to react as Tingle's claws dug into its shoulder and it howled in pain. Miharu smiled - she'd forgotten how much she loved battling with Tingle at her side.

"I think I'm about ready to call it a night," Kasiya said, feeling another yawn coming on. Levi yawned as well and Kasiya gave the Pokemon a hug, not minding the fact that she got her clothes wet in the process. "Have a good rest, Levi. You deserve it," she told the Marshtomp fondly as she held up the Pokemon's Pokeball. The Marshtomp disappeared in a flash of red light and Kasiya clipped the sphere onto her belt. She looked around the area, deciding that it would be a good place to camp out for the night. She stood up and unrolled her sleeping bag, realizing that she hadn't spent the night outdoors in quite a while. "Hope it doesn't get too cold," she murmured, taking her PokeDex and PokeNav from her pocket and placing them in one of the side compartments of her backpack. Nights spent camping outside were always better when Hiro was there to help keep her warm. It was so easy to fall asleep in that mass of soft, warm fur.
She slipped her shoes off and climbed into her sleeping bag, reaching up around her neck to undo the silver chain that she usually wore around her neck, the very same one that held her precious lightning-bolt pendant. It wasn't very nice to wake up to a stabbing pain in the neck or chest from it, and Kasiya almost always took it off when she remembered to. However, something was wrong even as she felt around for the clasp. Her hands began to shake when she realized it wasn't there and tears welled up in her eyes at the thought of having lost her pendant. The chain had already been weakened from when Mai broke it before, and evidently the repair job hadn't been strong enough to hold the pendant. She was glad the sun had just dipped below the horizon, for it was way too soon for her to be crying in front of someone she just met. "Good night, Serenity," she said, trying to keep her voice strong. She snuggled down inside her sleeping bag, repeatedly telling herself that it was too late to do anything about it now, and that it could be lost anywhere from here to Lavaridge Town. Her heart nearly stopped when she thought of it falling off while she had been flying with Fang. It's gone... she thought, squeezing her eyes shut as though it would stop the tears. I can't believe it's gone! After a moment or two she reached for Shocker's Pokeball and let the sleepy electric mouse out. Shocker immediately sensed something was wrong, but she knew the only reason she'd been called out was because Kasiya needed to be comforted. So, the Raichu settled down in her trainers arms, hoping that her presence would help the girl get to sleep. After all, tomorrow was going to be a busy day, and just maybe she could get her new friend to help her search for her pendant.
=-=-=-=-= Jaeshan heard the commotion before he saw it, and by the time his brain registered what was going on he saw Robin stalking away from the stalls, holding a very happy-looking Luffy by the tail. She wasn't kidding when she said he was trouble, Jaeshan thought, making sure he had everything and had recalled his Pokemon before he chased after her.
"Hey, what happened back there?" he asked, looking around to see if M.A. had finished her shopping yet. "Is everything alright?" His voice was gentle and genuinely concerned. He didn't like it when people were upset, and even though he'd only just met Robin, he wanted to help in any way he could.

Huffing a bit still annoyed with Luffy, Robin turned to look at Jeashan before casting Luffy a dark look. "Well I was going to buy some more pokeballs and potions maybe a Revive, but this idiot here dashes off and before anyone can stop him uses a TM. That was most of my money!" She growled slightly and shook the Aipom a bit. "It better have been a good move that you learned damnit!" Luffy just smiled at her as he used his hand tail to pat her on her head. "Grah! Damnit Luffy this isn't funny!" Robin cried. Really she did love Luffy with all her heart but he was such a handful, he really seemed to be a handful today.
Deciding to see what exactly Luffy had wasted her money on Robin juggled the monkey in her hands while she riffled through her bag to find her pokedex. Pulling it out she pointed it at Luffy and waited for a few moments for it to load. Information up she flipped through the screens to Luffy's attacks and scrolled down until she came across the TM move. "Brick break? Never heard of it." Looking up at Jeashan to see if he knew what exactly Luffy had picked up.

Jaeshan chuckled a bit and scratched his head. "Well, it looks like Luffy has good taste," he said, shrugging a bit. "Brick Break is a pretty tough Fighting-type move. If an opponent throws up a barrier like Reflect or Light Screen, Brick Break will shatter them." He nodded a bit before taking a Pokeball from his belt. "I actually just got the very same move for one of my Pokemon." He released Combusken, who yawned and stretched before rocking back and forth on her feet. She seemed well rested and quite energetic, as usual.
Jaeshan looked around a bit before spying a large rock nearby. "Aha, that will do," he nodded, pointing at it. "Okay Combusken, use that new move I just taught you. Brick Break!"
Combusken nearly hopped up and down with excitement, but she set her sights on the rock and began to dash towards it. Both of her clawed hands shone with a white energy as she jumped up, did a flip in the air and came down on the rock, smashing both claws into it. A giant crack appeared down the center, and Combusken finished up the Brick Break by landing a solid kick to the middle of it. The rock then shattered on impact and Combusken landed gracefully beside the new pile of rubble, clapping excitedly.

As Keegan held up the glimmering object his Pokemon all gathered around him as though they'd discovered a lost, ancient relic of power or something-or-other. It wasn't the case though, as the familiar lightning-shaped pendant hung down from a broken silver chain, slowly spinning around helplessly. Keegan looked up at the Pokemon, specifically Artemis and Loki. "Aren't you two supposed to be training?" he asked, closing his left hand around the pendant and nodding at them respectively. "Get back out there, you slackers," he added a bit playfully. Artemis ruffled his hair with a wing but did as told, and for a moment it looked as though Loki were planning something but instead he just slithered back out to join the Swellow.
Keegan sat back on a rock and studied the broken section of chain. It seemed like a pretty easy fix but he didn't have the proper tools to do so right now. I bet Kasiya's going crazy looking for this, he thought as he slipped it into an inside pocket of his jacket and zipped it closed.
Loki, still feeling the effects of his previous Stockpiles went back to his 'watch and wait' game, looking up at the Swellow with a devious look in his eyes. Seeing an opportunity he Stockpiled for a third time, liking the nervous way that Artemis was flying around overhead. Artemis shot a nasty glare down at the Arbok before deciding that she wasn't going to let him play these mind games with her anymore. She tucked her wings close to her body and dove at him, planning to smack the cobra around with a Wing Attack once she got in close enough. This was just the opening Loki was waiting for and once the Swellow was within range he shot up out of his coils and opened his mouth, spitting up a large amount of what couldn't be defined as anything but pure energy. ===== "Umbreon, fight back with Shadow Ball!" Temayo shouted. She looked rather uncertain about the Metang that Miharu had released, but at least she knew now that she could have Umbreon use the special attack she had taught it, long before it evolve from an Eevee. The dark type planted its feet firmly before a sphere of dark energy began to form at the golden ring on its forehead. It let out a cry and the black orb was fired, growing larger as it traveled towards Tingle.
"Aerial Ace!" Miharu commanded. She hadn't expected an offensive move to come from a defensive Pokemon like Umbreon, but part of the fun was not knowing what kind of moves your opponent might have. Tingle didn't make a sound as the Shadow Ball slammed into it, and it quickly thrust out its arm and headed towards the Umbreon, preparing to strike.
