Jacen stepped up to the group of X-People's as he heard Lindsey speak.

"Sorry. Had to cover my a** here. The Morlocks don't really care for me....," Jacen said while cracking his neck really quick. "Old wounds for them tend to die hard."

Jacen cracked a smile. The last time he saw Linds was when she was laying in the mansion's sickbay after the Poccy debacle. It was good to see her up and ready to go which was evident by the goofy smile he had on his face.

"It's good to have you back, Linds," Jacen said casually as he looked over the remaining group of students. Much to his surprise he recognized one of them. Someone he hadn't seen in a long while. "And I'll be damned.
Jamie made his way back," Jacen said in an off the cuff manner.

He noticed that at least one of the students looked unprepared for Jacen's arrival. He could 'feel' flucuations in the younger student's separate anxieties.

"Spose I should introduce myself," he muttered silently before speaking up a bit. The sewer tunnels amplified his voice to a suffcient level as it was. He didn't need to start screaming. "To those that haven't met me. The name's Jacen. Don't matter if you decide to use a codename with me or not. And before you start to wonder, I'm on your side."

OOC: To answer your question, Ms. Goddess, I was always under the gross assumption that the Morlocks were generally distrustful of surface dwellers.

OOC: Hmm, that brings up a interesting predicament. This wasn't supposed to be the same Jamie, but it doesn't really change anything. I think my being the same will be fun. . . Now to come up with a little side story to explain some stuff. . .

IC: Jamie looked at the guy in front of him for a second, and then had a sudden flashback. A dark face, some laughing, a lab, classic stuff, and then a rush of memories of his real life, and the time he had spent at the mansion. It's understandible that the rest of the people he had seen so far hadn't recognized him, he hadn't ever really settled in. "Jacen? Long time no see!" Or remember. He thought to himself. "And Lindsey?" How could I possibly forget them? "How is everyone else? Like Phenix, and Kim. And what about Carson?" He asked, glad to have this rush of memories.

OOC2: Oh, and sorry about the terribly, terribly overused plot idea. If I can come up with a better reason for why he wouldn't remember (or if someone can suggest one) I'll try that instead.

ooc: and keep in mind guys, this is x-men evolution. have none of you seen the eps with the morlocks? theyre a tad distrustful, but good allies with the x-men.

ic: "I'm not entirely sure Jamie..." the thought of Carson leaving plagued Lindsey worse than her own toxins. And Kim her best friend having left two... and all the others. No, she had to grab Bolt, the professor asked her to and hell if she was going to look like a wimp leader her first day back.

"Yeah, its great to see ya again Jamie." She winked, wondering how she didn't recognize him in the first place.

"And YOU sir, stop with the formalities!" Lindsey said with a big grin, grabbing Jacen around the chest and giving him a huge hug.

"Missed ya bro, sorry if I just covered you in s**t. Sewers. Are you sure you should be here? Haven't you sort of dealed with these guys before... in not the most pleasant way?"

Lindsey had actually been on fairly good terms with the morlocks, having visited them every now and then. There was something about their way of life that made Lindsey's inner mistress of disease come out.

Nokos ears perked up instantly. She remembered that voice. Bounding off the windowsill still in her cat form she ran into wandas room and proceeded to wrap herself around wandas legs feet and if she could have she would have wrapped herself around a wall. She purred as loudly as she could and finally sat down at the end of the bed totally proud of herself at the moment.

Noko blinked to herself and made a weirdo gargling noise as her stomach was suddenly pressed into her lungs and her intestines pressed into the soles of her feet. The tourture seemed to go on untill wanda discovered pietro She ran over to pietro with a bounce and stopped infront of him. Holding Noko out at arms length she proclaimed" ITS SO CUTE!! I WILL NAME HER ...UUHM" at this wanda paused for a moment as nokos outstreched limbs clawed air in futile attempts to grab hold of pietros clothing. " BOB!!!" wanda squealed as she hugged noko tightly yet again and another gurgling noise came out of her. ~ I dont wanna die!! NOT LIKE THIS!!~

Jamie let himself get lost in his thoughts while Lindsey and Jacen caught up a bit. He was happy to go over what had happened a year ago, and what had happened since he came. Going over the fight he had had with sparky in his head, he remembered his fighting lessons with Wolverine and what he could have done to win the fight. He let himself remember everything, until a certain point. He almost laughed out loud when he remembered when he had walked in on Kurt and Carson, well mostly Kurt, crashing the girls slumber party. Oh, how they had punished Carson. Jamie and Kurt got away narrowly, but Carson got caught.

While he was going over these memories, he came to a block, he could not figure out who had wiped his memories, or why they would have done it. He finally let himself snap out of his spots and dropped behind the others to where Ruka was. "Is something wrong?" He asked her quietly.

Ruka: i just don't really know anyone.....just uneasy...
*she looked at Lindsey and Jacen talking then sighed*
Ruka: if i get uneasy just being around 4 people i really don't know how i am i gonna make it in the mansion with about 100 people i don't know.....what are morlocks? i have no idea what they're talking about...

Jamie let himself roll in his old memories a bit more before finding what he was looking for. "I know that the Morlocks live in the sewers, but you knew that. . . I think they're a group of outcasts from society because of their powers, which often have physical manifestations, unlike most of us. But I don't know if I ever met them before. . . And about not knowing people, don't worry about that. You'll meet people, then forget about everything else. You already met at least one person right? Just meet three or four more, and you'll feel right at home." He flashed Ruka a grin, before looking back to see if they were where they were going.
