ok, after reading a thread for donations~ it just got me thinking what makes people donate to other questers.
For me~
I don't just donate to anyone. Things i look for the person or the thread before I donate are:
• the effort they put into their quest thread
• do they work for their item and not just wait and bump their thread to get donations
• if they aren't someone else' mule
• a progress bar of some sorts (to see if they really are working for their goal)
• if they are friendly/socializing
• if they do update their list of donators.
• i'll add more if i remember other things~ xd

I look for 3 main things
1. a donors list
2. a quest bar
3. Why they think their outfit/item is quest worthy.
and Adie....I'm having such a hard time figuring out what I'm going to get you for Christmas. You have too much cool stuff already.

eheheh due to my impulsive buying i'm having a hard time saving up so what i did was I send off any extra gold i get for posting playing and such to a mule which i rarely log into. that way, i don't really know exactly how much i have but when it'd be time for shopping for gifties~ I have some saved biggrin

I donate to people i know and that are friendly to me
i don't have much gold either so I'm just going to be giving people things their questing/things to help them on their quest (you are all going to get trades that say Happy Holidays!)

that I have to get them an item.

I'm having issues picking for nami, utena, lil and a several others sweatdrop
my BIGGEST problem: so far I've bought/traded my way into: a dark halo
a friggin holy $#it (hey, it way cheap :p) an elegant pearl choker (squeeeeeal - below half shop price, yayness) omg, and a number of other things.. that's just some of the pricier stuff. redface
