Haradhel had finished with the first girl by now, and she was already out of the bath and dressed. Haradhel had begun brushing the girl's hair while she had been waiting for Feng, but now she smiled and held the brush out to Feng instead.
"Here," she murmured, "I'll take care of the bathing if you'd like to take care of her hair. You might want to braid it as well, it would help keep it out of the way for her later."
She beckoned for the other two girls to come so that they could also be bathed.

The boy lifted his head then, curious to know what the 'one last thing' was going to be. He looked at Cindy, his eyes reflecting his curiosity - yet still he said nothing, showing no other reaction to what was happening to him.
The two girls approached Haradhel obediently, both of them smiling, more comfortable with the elvish woman than they had been with the (seemingly) human girl, and in moments they were each in a tub and soaking in the warmth of the water.

Cindy smiled reassuringly, "You need to take some medicine, to make sure you don't become sick from the cuts you have. Since they probably didn't look after it very well. Just two drops, I know it doesn't taste good, but... I can't do much about that."
Unfortunately, but this was just a preventive measure for him, since it didn't look infected.
"Okay!" Feng grinned she loved playing with hair, and to be asked to brush and braid hair was just a treat to her. Settling down behind the girl, Feng began to brush out the girl's hair slowly.

The boy nodded his understanding to Cindy and opened his ... strangely empty mouth.
The reason for his silence was finally revealed: his tongue had been cut out, and there was only enough left of it for him to swallow. He could not speak, could not chew - could only swallow.
He waited patiently for Cindy to give him the medicine he was supposed to take.

"Heavens!"
The bottle stopper clattered to the floor as Cindy jumped back in startled meant. She stared in disbelief not realizing she had dropped the stopper at the boy's mouth. Her mind could only race in thinking of when and how. Her eyes were wide in horror, and realizing she was still staring pulled herself together.
Shakingly she picked up the stopper from the floor and cleaned it before administering the medince.
"Ah...." Cindy blinked trying to get her head into gear, she knew she had to check his mouth now.
After all she reasoned there could be been injury, infection, cracked teeth.
"Does that hurt?"

The boy blinked when Cindy dropped the stopper, and when she put the medicine in his mouth, his face was slightly red with embarrassment. He didn't like startling people like that, but it wasn't as if he could give them any warning.
He shook his head at her question. No, it didn't hurt. Compared to his back, nothing did - but his tongue had been cut out a long time ago and healed quite quickly. He was used to it.

From what she saw when she was giving him his medicine there weren't any other injuries... besides the tongue that is.
"Well... you need to have to rest of you cleaned before putting on the cream," she told him, "I'll make sure to tell them just a cloth wipe down, your back is still quite tender, and I'll see about softer clothes."
She got up and brushed her skirt off, she was sure Elrohir was still upstairs with the other child. She wished she could give him something for the pain, but the dosages for that was still off.
"I'll be right back," she nodded, and with that she disappeared upstairs checking the rooms for Elrohir.

The boy watched Cindy disappear out of the room, then looked up at Ryu. There were questions in his eyes ... questions that he could not ask, and that therefore could not be answered ... and yet there was no trace of frustration there with it, only curiosity and a desire to know.
He sighed and leaned his head against Ryu's chest. Now that the pain on his back was receding once more, he was growing tired. Still, he refused to let himself fall asleep yet. He knew Cindy would be back soon, and he wanted to know what she was going to do with him.

Elrohir was just starting on his way back downstairs when he saw Cindy coming up. There seemed to be an urgency in her steps, and his brow furrowed slightly as he started down to meet her.
"Is something wrong?" he asked. "Did something happen to one of the children?"

"Yes," she paused, "No.. well I mean.. yes but in the past," she replied, "The next child is going to need a cloth wipe down instead of a bath and he needs softer clothing for his back, I haven't applied the cream yet because it's such a wide area and..."
She was at a lost, this one needed so much and it was fustrating to say the least. The young woman was grasping straws at what she needed for this boy, but there was one thing he needed...
"I.... I don't know what I need besides that," she was at a loss, "I need something else for him. Elrohir the boy doesn't have a tongue."
"Tired?" Ryu murmured watching the boy, he wished he could say more but communication looked like it would be limited.

The boy looked up at Ryu, his eyes just as curious as before, and he nodded slowly. Yes ... he was indeed tired ... but he wanted to make sure his wounds were entirely taken care of before he slept.
He put his hand over his mouth, covering a yawn and trying not to disgust Ryu at the same time.

Elrohir stopped in his tracks. The first thing that registered in his mind was the fact that Cindy was tripping over her words, she couldn't seem to put a thought together. Only after going over it in his head again did it make any sense to him.
"No ... what?" he blinked. He stared at her a moment longer, then cursed under his breath and slipped past her down the stairs.

Ryu ruffled the boy's hair gently, "It's okay if you want to doze a bit."
After all he was sure the boy was just going to be out like light evenually anyhow. Though how much of a light sleeper the boy was he didn't know.
Cindy sighed and followed after Elrohir, she might as well let him see for himself, but this was the worse out of all the children that were brought here. Honestly she couldn't say anything other than the fact that the boy didn't have a tongue.

The boy looked up at Ryu, grinning lop-sidedly. He shook his head, though, wanting to stay up at least until he was finished being looked after. He did however lay against Ryu's chest again so that he could be more comfortable while he waited.
But he refused to allow himself to sleep.

Elrohir ran into the dining room and skidded to a stop, kneeling beside Ryu and the boy he was holding. He had to swallow down bile when he saw the state of the boy's back, and he felt his disgust for the slavers growing rapidly.
"Show me?" he asked Ryu, looking at him anxiously.
