((*resuming RP after guilds stopped*))
Elliot finished cooking breakfast and served it all up, aranging it - as always - in a way that looks nice. He liked making things... pretty. It was interesting and usually rewarding. He set the plates down at the counter and sat down at his space. "There's more in the kitchen if you're still hungry," he said as he began to eat.

He set the plates down at the counter and sat down at his space. "There's more in the kitchen if you're still hungry," he said as he began to eat. "Thanks...it looks really good." Leo said, sitting down where his plate had been set. " He started eating. "Tastes really good too..." he added after the first couple of bites. His feet swung a little over the floor as he ate.

He smiled - the first time he had smiled in front of the other. "Good." He didn't tend to show much emotion, except when it was to do with his cooking. It was a bit self-centered and perhaps selfish, but he didn't care about that. He just liked it when people liked his cooking. It was something he could take pride in.

Leo smiled when he saw that what he had said made Elliot smile. He liked making people happy, and he wanted Elliot to like him. It would be really hard to live with someone who didn't like him, plus it just generally bugged him when people didn't like him.

He finished up his meal after a few more minutes - he had always been a quick eater - and took his dishes into the kitchenette, which was on the other side of the counter, to be washed. "What year are you in?" he asked as he scrubbed not only his own eating dishes, but the pans and everything he had used to cook.
((Set up = the kitchenette and then there's a counter where they eat, so the sink is on the other side of the counter. Understand? =o ))

"I'm in ninth grade." Leo said, continuing to eat his food, he was getting close to being done. He wondered what grade Elliot was in, he had to be older than him. He just seemed older. Maybe it was because he was so much taller, but then, Leo was a bit on the short side for his age. "You?"

"I'm a sophomore. I went here last year, too," he said with a shrug. The other had seemed to short to be his age. But still, it was only a year's difference. Maybe he had skipped a grade or something... After that, they returned to silence. Elliot wasn't even sure why he had asked anything about the other - he usually never tried to find out about others.

Leo nodded when Elliot explained that he had been here the previous year too. No wonder he seemed so much more comfortable here than Leo was. He finished off his food then went over to the sink to wash his plate. "Thanks for breakfast." He said.

Elliot shrugged. "No problem. I like cooking." And there it was again - he was revealing something about himself. He frowned slightly, although his face remained impassive, and dried his hands on a towel and walked out of the kitchennette and into the bedroom to leave the rest of the dishes - meaning Leo's - to the other boy. He fell back onto his bed and closed his eyes, deciding he would try to sleep some more.

Leo cleaned his plate, making sure he did a good job of it, then dried his hands off as well. He saw Elliot lay down to get some more sleep, and decided that that deffinetly looked like a good idea. He hadn't gotten much sleep at all the previous night on the bus here. He layed down on his bed on top of the blanket and closed his eyes.

But Elliot couldn't sleep. He was usually able to get back to sleep fairly easily, but he had been awake too long for unconsciousness to come that easily. He frowned softly and sat up, rubbing at his eyes. He reached over to the cabinet between their two beds and took the small book that was on it. He sat back against the wall, cusioned by pillows, and began to read.

Leo on the other hand quickly slipped off to sleep. He was exhausted. He layed on his side, his legs curled up nearly to his chest, his pillow held tight against him. He slept pretty much silently, no snoring, just slow regular breathing.

As the other drifted into sleep, Elliot set his book down, frowning. He was so used to being alone... he felt uncomfortable with someone else so near to him. Their dorm was on the top floor, so he had a nice balcony that was given to the privaledged - meaning the upper classmen or those few people with connections in the school. Elliot, being a sophomor, was not yet an upper classman but was valued by the school for certain of his activities, and it showed. He walked out onto the balcony, closing the sliding glass door behind him, and leaned across the railing, looking out onto the trees around the edge of the school.

Leo tossed and turned in his sleep, tears streaming down his face. He pulled the side of the blanket that he was laying on up over himself, for protection. "No...don' want to..." He whimpered in a barely audible voice.

Elliot turned around so that his back was against the railing and leaned back, letting his eyes close as he relaxed. After a few moments, his eyes opened again and roamed until they found the boy's sleeping figure, who was... crying. Feeling as if he should wake the other if he was having a nightmare, he reentered the room and shook Leo gently. "Hey. Wake up."
