Yeah, weekly tests are not fun. Seriously, who wants to study until the last day? For that matter, who wants to study on the last day, anways... For some reason, I always get Muggle Studies tests on Ancient Runes test days. (Every single time!) Either that, or on the same day as History of Magic...-sigh- The professors are out to get us T__T
Whee! I earned 15 points! (I think.) (How many points are banners worth...?)

 For those who are new to Ravenclaw (Brennaka, ish_sqwee, laetifica, jillian_insomnia, Mae Wal, The_Sapphire_Mage, WaterFairy52, x__c r u c i o), I'm Orna - your prefect!
I want to welcome you to Ravenclaw and to ask you, if you haven't answered the question to enter the common room, (Where are your greatest strengths?) then I urge you to do so! We also have another question to inspire thought and discussion that is voluntary, "What makes you happy in your life and why?"
Also, for those who are new - and a refresher for our current students - I urge you to keep in mind the guidelines of the guild for posting. We do measure our house years by the number of posts - but remember your content when posting. This guild is MORE than just counting your posts to move up a year. This guild is about Harry Potter and what you contribute to the Haven. We want people to see the Haven as a safe and interesting retreat for HP fans, not as a post obsessed guild.
We encourage Harry Potter posts with the exception of our common room (although it would be lovely there as well) and we discourage one-line/sentence posts. A lot of one or two word posts may delay you moving up a year. Keep in mind the content of your posts - make sure that you aren't excluding others with your subject matter! In the common room, describing a situation asking for help, a sincere question, or wanting others thoughts on a situation, that's different than potentially excluding others. However, if you're posting something about someone (in the guild or outside of the guild) that can be termed "gossiping," please take those posts to PMs. It's hurtful to those people AND you make yourselves plus the guild look bad. We have a lot of new members, lets show them how amazing this guild is!
Don't forget about our Chatterbox subforum, that was created for non-HP related topics, therefore it is an appropriate place to discuss homework, activities, music, etc. with others in the guild.

Yeah, and to add on to that...don't forget to try out for Quidditch! The house with the most tryouts gets house points. And if we have the most house points by the end of the year (? or is it semi-annual) we get...something. I forget. Oh yeah, on that note, did we ever receive the House Cup prize...?

Well, I already answered: "What makes you happy in your life and why?" As for "Where are your greatest strengths?" The answer to that is also music. Not to brag, but I'm an excellent singer and pianist. redface

I'll be going ASAP, probably on Wednesday, since I'm busy on Tuesday stressed

Yes. I wish we could actually have 4 days for 2 two-day tests, rather than 3. What, are the teachers trying to destroy our grades? -sigh-
It's pretty depressing, actually. GPA is calculated just by grade, no +s or -s. Which means...the GPA falls off of a table and splats on the floor. Whoohoo. I finally managed to raise my Arithmancy grade and then Ancient Runes went and crashed into a tree.

Nothing planned for sure yet...it's empty. "reserved", I think. Oh yeah, I'm making avvie art...but I'm still in the 'learning' stage so I'm not too sure how it'll look on the computer... o.o

Umm I don't think you can PM attachments, but you can probably get a photobucket account and get the URL for your picture and insert it into the message ^-^
You'll do fine, biggrin I have no time/patience to even try. So feel lucky. XP
