Blade. Erik Brooks. African fellow whose mother was killed bt a vampire JUST before his own birth. Somehow, between this, he became a "dhampir." A half vampire. At least, I think that's the story.

Melaka _ Fray I shouldn't be mean to her. But I read about her in the Watcher's book, and they had a picture. I mean, wow. Girl was hot, but there are better things to show demons. Pointier things.

I don't think it's short for anything. "Buffy Anne Summers. Slayer from 1996-?? Hard-headed, stubborn, and refuses to obey orders. Lost her first watcher to an Elder vampire, and has shown reluctance to follow her new one, Watcher Rupert Giles."
She's not the last Slayer mentioned, there are two that come after her. But after this "Faith" girl, no mention of anything for years.
Maybe I should find the rest of the diaries...
