Rachel sat down, she still had not changed from her wolf form, for the moment she really didn't know how to change back. She continued to watch Steven work on Viren, she was really hoping with all her might that Steven would save Viren.

Steven slowly took the last bullet out of Viren's skull. Unfortunately, the bullet burst into silver particles, landing all around. Some hit Steven on the forehead. "Gah!" he shouted and clutched the burning spot, dropping the tweezers. Some of the particles landed back in the wound...

A piece of silver landed on Rachel's paw, she yelped and stood up. She was more concerned about Viren then the doctor, but she was worried about Steven enough to ask ".....ok?"

Steven breathed heavily and slowly moved his hand away from his forehead. "I think I'm fine" he said. he went back over to Viren. "Hmm..." he said, "those particles need to be removed quick, and I don't have a tiny suction...I don't think". He searched around. He didn't expect this kind of wound treatment on the ship. Had he, he would have requested for more equipment, though he might not have gotten it anyway.

"Possible....lick them out" Rachel asked, her concern was messing with her speech ability.

"Lick...no" Steven said. Then he had an idea. "Quick! Run to the kitchen and get me a straw" he said.

Rachel nodded and made a dash off to the kitchen. "What I wouldn't give for some thumbs" she said as she searched through some cabinets and drawers, with a little difficulty. She quickly found something in a drawer that resembled a straw, she grabbed it in her mouth and returned to Steven "here" she said.

Steven took the straw and ran it under very warm water (for health reasons) then took a bottle of stomach pump liquid out of the cabinet and unscrewed the top.
Steven walked back over to Viren. He sighed and said "anything to help my patients". He put the straw in his mouth and began sucking the silver particles out of Virens skull. He really felt the burn, but kept going.

"I.....help" Rachel said, she closed her eyes and focused hard on her human form. After a few moments she was on her hands and knees, not paws. She stood up "Just tell me what to do and I'll do it" she said.

Steven kept sucking until it was all gone. After that he drank the stomach pump liquid. "Keep his wound clean" Steven said before rushing out to the side of the boat and throwing up.
((woops, forgot to mention that Steven had to shave around Viren's head where the bullet wound was))

Rachel nodded, she pulled out a few flower peddles and mashed them up, she applied a thin layer around the head wound, so that the wound couldn't get infected and then placed a cloth on it. It was her own little medicine concoction. She kept the cloth on it and applied a bit of pressure so that the blood couldn't escape.

Steven staggered back into the room. "Is he...alright?" he asked.

Steven saw Viren's chest moving up and down. "He's still alive" Steven said, then took off the mask. It was stained with vomit. He threw it away along with the medical gloves because they were soiled.
Steven went over to the sink, washed his fance and hands, dried them, them put on a new pair of gloves and a mask. "Alright, back to work" he said. He took out what he needed to fix the wound.

"I hope he'll be back to the way he was before he was shot in the head" Rachel said "'cause I know, that they can become vegetables when people are shot in the head" she moved out of the way a little so Steven can fix Viren up.
