*Chris cleared his throat.*
We can grab some eats and head back to my room. Eat, read, sit on the bed...
*Damn, Powell, you are one smooth son of a gun. He was already steering towards the cafeteria. They had fried chicken and the fixings to go or so he heard.*

Linda sighed... she was grateful that she had all her notes from History on her laptop and at least the dog didn't destroy that.
" Normally I would suggest a dog house but someone would be sure to notice it... "
Linda paused for a moment.
" Isn't there an elephant that lives on campus? Maybe Kryto could room with him provided they got along. One things for sure Karen, I don't think he's gonna leave. The little guy seems kinda attached to you."

"What? Attached?" Karen looked at the dog in her arms that was excitedly licking her face easily forgetting his puppy destruction.
Then she held him away from her for a moment.
"Heh! No way... Nobody's ever attached to me. He's prolly just wants attention."
She put the dog down and he ran in circles trying to catch his tail.
"Besides, he's Clark's dog."
Karen picks up Krypto once more as he had just then been running in super speed and almost dug a hole in the ground.
"Your. Clark's. dog." She said sternly at Kyrpto who just barked in reply and kicked her face again.
"Ugh." She lets him go again and says to Linda.
"I think you're right Linda. Staying with Mysia would be our best bet. But we have to keep him out of view until I can get Clark to get him back to his farm. He may have to stay another night until we find Clark. Have you seen him lately?"

Linda shook her head gently.
" Poor confused Lois. Anyways we could try calling him or I'm sure to meet up with him sometime soon because of the school paper and all."

Karen paused a moment... She didn't want Clark to me mad at her... She hoped Linda couls use the right words... she was a reporter after all isn't that what they do.
"Just let him know that Krypto found me and followed me here."
Yeah certainly not that I called him and played with him all night with Jen. Yeah lets just leave that part out.

Linda looked at the note Kid Flash wrote her and wrote. ' Okay, How about Friday right after classes?'

"Don't worry. I told her I'd let her out after you took me down there. I'll even do her the favor or jinxing it from her mind too so nobody will be mad that she squeeled."
He held a forefinger to his lips and gave Hartley an impish grin.
"Follow me." If Hartley were a better kid, maybe he'd be running to a teacher right now to squeal on Billy, but he figured it would be best to just get this over with. The two of them headed back to the detention hall, and Hartley ducked into one of the ill-used classrooms."When the school was built, this used to be the gym. There was some sort of bunker or something built under here...for air raids, or whatever. It was right before World War 2. Anyway, there was a fight or an explosion or something and most of the bunker was sealed off, but there's one door down there left and it's right...here." Hartley swung open the chalkboard, revealing a decrepit doorway. He opened that and jerked his thumb towards it."Set Lisa free and get your a** in there so we can get this over with."

At LexCorp's Midvale complex...
Lex Luthor is hard at work in his lab on the Terrigen Mists he acquired. He used Gorilla Grodd to infect Hero High with an ape virus that could only be cured by Maximus Boltagon. Maximus, ever a troublemaker and thorn in Blackbolt's side, smuggled a large sample of the Terrigen Mists off the moon via a drugged Chris Powell. Lex and his bodyguard, Mercy Graves, retrieved the Mists and ever since then, the twenty year old genius had been testing the Mists on the homeless of Midvale. The tests have been utter failures and Lex had gone through most of his test subjects.
"Lex, if you won't tell me what you're doing with those Terrycloth Mists then at least tell me why LexCorp is hosting that stupid ice carving thing," John Corben, aka Metallo, whined. He was bored ever since Lex banned him from contacting Superboy or Linda Lang.
"It's a tax write-off, you idiot," Mercy Graves retorted. She had no use for Corben.
"Don't call me an idiot!"
"Don't act like one."
"Rargh!" Corben tore open the hatch on his chest, exposing his kryptonite heart. The green light bathed Mercy's face. She just smirked at him.
"I'm not Superboy, moron! That won't hurt me!" Mercy retaliated by pulling a gun and shooting Corben right in his "heart." A small sliver of kryptonite broke off and landed in a sample of Lex's Terrigen Mists.
"YOU TWITS! You managed to contaminate this sample! How many times have I told you to stay out of her-" Lex had started ranting but noticed something extraordinary. His sample of the Mists was slowing taking on a green glow. He set a smaller sample on a slide and slipped it under a microscope. "Amazing! Mercy, I need more subjects!"
"Lex...I think we've cleared Midvale of homeless."
"Then start taking citizens! JUST GET ME TEST SUBJECTS!"

Which one should he choose? Wally thought back to his conversation with his friends the other night at That 50's Diner...when they were discussing Achilles.
" Well, Wally what would you suggest?"
"Tons and tons of dating." Wally leaned back and grinned. "Achilles is down because of love. Blah blah love. What a pain in the butt, amiright? Ergo, he must take 'love,' knock it on it's butt, pile on dozens of hottie-boom-botties and bask in the awesome while love gets crushed and taps out."
Love. What a pain in the butt, right? He should totally go with Evil-Lyn, because there was a girl that was NOT looking for a commitment. The only reason she was even considering dating Wally was because it would bother most of the people she hung out with.
And Linda...she seemed to think Kid Flash was this total speedster saint. Always right. Always...reliable.
Wally sighed, and picked up his phone."Hey, E. Yeah, it's Speed-Stor. Hey, I gotta cancel Friday, okay? Something important came up."

Billy just shook his head and gave Hartley a condescending smile.
"I don't know whether I should be insulted more by your thought process or the credit you give my intelligence. She'll get released after I find what I need. Now, shall we?"
He waved a hand forward for Hartley to lead the way and off they went into the depths of the caverns beneath Hero High. As they walked on, he could not resist the small talk. if for no other reason than to annoy Hartley.
"I don't know why you're acting so put off by this. It's not as though they'd do the same for you."
Billy looked at him and winked.
"Don't deny it Hart. Those kids you think are your friends are anything but. You're the means to an end to them. Nothing more. If you stopped dancing to Lisa and Len's tune, you'd get bounced out on your bony butt in the beat of a heart. I mean, who was it that risked their lives to save you from Mars? It wasn't them! It was the kids you see as nerds and geeks who wanted to protect you. Where were they on that alien planet? Did they even bother trying to look for you?"
He scoffed, swinging his arms nonchalantly and a smile retained on his face.
"It just must be nice to always have your head in the clouds the way you do. I'd rather have no friends than false ones. But then again, that does seem to be Billy's trait, now doesn't it?"
He reached over and patted Hartley's cheek a few times.
"Poor dumb little spaz. Oh which reminds me..."
He cast a glance aside toward the fuming redhead walking beside him.
"Don't go getting any funny ideas down here now Hart. I'd hate to have to feed your rat to Mister Hellstrom's python. And uh..."
He tweeked Hartley's nose.
"If the thought of tattling crossed your mind, don't waste your time. Everybody knows Billy's magic isn't worth the effort."

time
, Hartley was going to pop him one in the face, debt or no debt. He could tune out the incessant prattling, but Hartley didn't like being touched by ANYone (except Wallace) and every time that basket case reached over and pawed him, Hartley's nerve endings did an angry samba.
The two of them reached a fork in the pathway.
Hartley stopped cold in the tunnel and grabbed Billy's hand as he touched his nose, yanking it away from his face.
"Funny thing." Hartley shoved the hand away. "If Lisa told you about the hideout...why didn't you have HER show you where it is?" Hartley reached into his pocket and pulled out his iPhone. No signal way down here, but the lighter app worked fine...
"I don't think that's Lisa at all. In fact, I don't think you're Billy at all. I think you're some evil stupid wizard that's probably doing something both evil and stupid at the same time, who stupidly thought that coming down here and being a jackass to me was going to get you somewhere. Well-" Hartley shoved the lighter app in Billy's face as a brilliant flash erupted from it, temporarily dazzling the boy's eyes.
"FIND YOUR OWN DAMN WAY!" When Billy's vision cleared, Hartley was gone.

*Chris and Cassie entered the cafeteria. He would score some chicken, go back to the room, and put some moves on Cassie. They could read the book later and head to Makeout City. Population: 2.
They got in line for chicken and fixings and Chris spotted two things. One, the cafeteria went out and bought a ton of KFC.*
KFC? Sweet! Chicken and mashed potatoes and cole slaw....
*Two, Dani was coming their way. And she looked bored. GAH! NO!*

As soon as she saw Chris and Cassie Dani's frown turned upside down into a bright grin. Finally something to do!!
All that talk the other night about being single it was all an akt. Turly she was feeling very lonely and bored. But she wasn't about to got around dating every guy in HH, partly because e she'd already done that. and partly buacse she;d end up being just like the person she didn't want to be.
So she was ecstatic when she saw her friends!
"Cassie! Chris!! HI!"
She almost hopped to them skipping in line to be near them!
"Great chicken right? Try the potatoes they are great!"
She smiled at them wrapping her arms around their neck
"So Here's the thing, I figured if you guys weren't all that busy we could totally hang out today. Y'know just like old times."

Cassie gave Dani a huge sisterly hug.
" Of course we can hang... But Chris and I we were kinda trying to find out what the dealy is with Billy. Mordred said he's possessed but we have no idea by what?"
Cassie grabed some KFC chicken and biscuits.
"Oh man, this beats everyday cafeteria food any day."
