Ryou looked over at Khalid, his expression growing cold for a moment. He had been there when Khalid told that to Luci, and was still irritated. "Khalid doesn't make decisions for me. He has no right..." He murmured, to himself.

"It seems he is trying to take away your interst of kira. Get her out of your life permently.I have to say im surprized he brought here." luci said patting kiras head who moved away.

Ryou looked troubled, then got up to his feet, mumbling something before going over to Khalid. Atem looked amused at Ryou's angry expression. "Khalid..." He hissed at his husband, though it was hard for him to keep his voice low. "I told you that you weren't going to take control. I know how to live my own life! Stop trying to manipulate me to what you want!"
Khalid's violet eyes sparkled coldly as Ryou got angry at him. He lifted a hand, tucking some hair behind the boy's ear, before placing his hand against Ryou's neck and squeezing slightly. "Ryou, haven't you realized how long I've been controlling your life? You hadn't complained before. You didn't complain when I did good things for you. Remember how it was me who brought Kira back? Who kept Bakura from completely taking over your mind? I brought Rei back to you, most recently. The good outweighs the bad, my dear, and I'm afraid you're just going ot have to live with it."
"Khalid, I appreciate what you've done for me, I really do." Ryou said, taking in a breath to try and calm himself. "I can handle a lot of the small things you do to control me. But you can't keep me away from Kira. That's too far."

When khalid grabed ryou by the neck kira jumped up and was about to step off the steps when luci grabed her by theneck "Ah ah Let the two talk it out."

"Ryou, my dearest..." Khalid said in a mocking tone. "You are the light of my life. Why would I want to share it with anyone else? A marriage is a special bond between two people. If you were to have that bond with Kira, you would have married her when she was still alive and not imprisoned. Instead, you eloped with me shortly after her death. Doesn't that show you something? It pains me to see you looking at her when I should be th eonly one you love like that."
"Oh, yeah?" Ryou shot back, trying to step away from Khalid, but the older man's grip on his neck stayed. "Well, what about when you were ******** Luci on the table? Where wwas the 'special bond' then, you a*****e?" He was getting angry now; his eyes flashed and his cheeks were flushed. Khalid didn't respond to this in words; instead, he pulled Ryou into a close embrace, kissing him soundly. Ryou thought about fighting against him, but he would have nothing to gain, except maybe a bruise. Luckily Khalid made it brief. "I hate you." Ryou snapped, still held close to Khalid.

Luci couldent help but smirk as he listened to theconverstion. Kira continued to try and squirm out of his grasp. Luci frowned. He hated when that boy was around. His pet always misbehaved when he was around. "If you don't stop squirming im going to snap your neck" he growled to kira.

Khalid released Ryou after he spoke to him in a low voice, so that the others couldn't hear. "...but go ahead and go back to her. So long as you don't leave me, and things don't get too carried away with her, I suppose I'm find with you being around her." He said in a little louder voice.
Ryou's cheeks were very heated; he had completely forgotten about the others, and felt embarrassed that they had heard and seen all of that. He turned and hurried quickly to Kira, just wanting to get away from Khalid.

Luci debated for a moment before he let go of kiras neck. Kira coughed a bit taking a deep breath.

Ryou looked at Luci, as though completely ignoring Kira. He took in a breath to calm himself. "Rei will still want to see Kira. Will you let her go?"

"...I guess" Luci said. Luci then pushed kira off the stairs. She stumbled a bit but was still breathing.

Ryou caught Kira as she stumbled, and held her steady. He was shaking just a little. "Come on." He said, looking up, catching Khalid's eye. Khalid looked blankly back at him, before turning and heading down the street. "You won't believe how much she looks like you, Kira. You've only talked to her on the phone, right?"

Ryou stopped as they reached the street. He smiled weakly at Atem and Yugi, who he hadn't really spoken to. "We're going to go back to the mansion to see Rei. Are you guys wanting to come as well?"
