She smiled softly, "Well you don't have to run anymore sir...you're safe here. Welcome to Taline Manor....safe haven for all." she chuckled lightly and touched his robe, "We can have a servant clean this for you....would you like to come inside and rest a while. You look hungry too." she smiled as she got to her feet, offering him a hand up.

Nick laughed a bit when she said hungry his stomach grumbled. "Thank you." He took her hand to get up the let go. "Well this is a nice place." He grabbed his bag and went back to her. "How long has it been here?"

"Quite sometime actually....Vicky is the owner. She's a wonderful gal...really funny too!!" she smiled at him and lead him towards the back door and through the kitchen. "I will have to warn you though....we have vampires and werewolves among other magical beings that dwell here. But they are quite civilized i assure you my friend....i didn't catch your name by the way." she said pausing just inside the kitchen, the servants had been baking and the breads smelled slightly appetizing to her.

"Nicholas MCcloud but you can call me Nick." He walked into a wall. "Ugh I need my glasses on." He put his glasses on and he cloud see everything better. "I am not really scared of the other races, pardon me if I sound racist." He walked with her. He cleared of his glasses and he accidentaly dropped them. "Oh drat" Nick stumbled around looking for them and he fell in an oven.

Nadea chuckled softly, "Quite the clumsy one aren't we Nick?" she said softly as she helped him out of the oven. "Good thing it wasn't on huh? I would've had dinner......i'm joking." she laughed lightly and dusted him off. "Well come on....i'll show you the dinning room and introduce you to Vickilyn."

Shadow had spent the past night and day locked away in his crypt, disturbed by what one of the clan scouts had said to him. A night ago when all were alseep bar himself he was aproched by one of his scouts that brought news from the other clans. They spoke of things he had hoped would not ocur for atleast after Lilith had been finished off. Daemons from his time had been seen wandering the raelm of man. The reformed clans had identified them as thoae belonging to the lord of chage and spoke of traveling to the chaotic raelm to investigate the situation with the revived Gods. They had asked Shadow to return with them to seek the lord of change and investigate the apearance of the daemons. Shadow wasn't sure if he had it in him to return to that raelm with anyone after what he saw there but he wanted to be sure that his family would be able to stay safe long enough for him and the clans to work out some way to defeat the Gods on thier own turff or lure them to this raelm and send them back to their regenerative rest for another few milenia. This chain of thought stressed Shadow to new extreams, the horrors of the last time he fought against them still haunted him. The death and destruction that they caused over the world was terrible and scared Shadow for life. In the end Shadow needed a drink, something strong that would take the edge off of everything. He left his crypt, sealing the doors behind him and entered the dinning room. He called for a bottle of wiskey and a glass as he sat in his chair. Once the wiskey had arrived he cracked open the bottle and slowly drank while lost in his thoughts.
