Cole gets up and moves several yards down the barrier, sits back down, and continues contemplating it.
"Why does everyone think this is impossible? It shouldn't be, it is just a machine after all. Is it? Hmmm, I hadn't thought of that..."

He looks over at you, slightly irritated himself, and shouts back.
"Well I CAN'T very well fight you, I don't have a sword. Even if I did, I barely know how to use one. And knowing this place you probably have some crazy powers or something. Besides, I'm trying to figure this thing out."
He looks at Orias' obvious disappointment.
"Oh, I suppose we COULD try it, but not before I get through this barrier. And that could take a while."

"That's not the point, obviously you already know how. Its the knowing that matters, not having someone else do it while I watch. Same reason why I want to know whats in there and know why I keep coming back here to puzzle this thing over."
He thinks about it for a second.
"Though I suppose... I could figure the barrier part out later and get started with the rest of it if you could get me inside..."
He grins.
"Heck, I'll even try to give you a fight if it means I can get on with it afterwards."

"GAH!"
The talon knocks Cole out of his seat, sending him careening across the landscape in a bubble shield of psychic energy.
"Holy crap! What is HIS problem?"
Eventually the bubble stops rolling and Cole lets it fade, picking his bruised self up off the ground. He had a light headache brewing from the impact and wasn't amused in the slightest.
"I'm seriously going to need to work on that one, what's the point of having a shield if you get all banged up inside of it? Gah, he's one to avoid that's for sure. If he hadn't been radiating killing intent like that I don't think I would have been ready for that attack."
He rubs his temples.
"And from underground? Good thing I choose the bubble and not the directional shield, that's just dirty, heh, dirty. Pun on me."

::Tyr was satisfied for the moment that Zio had some reason to withhold Thanatos' health information. That alone lead him to believe that his little secret might have gotten out, it wouldn't be long before someone had a talk with him about it. If this were the case he would consider his experiment a success::

*Trilla, Eecheb, and Nana would all immediately take note of Thanatos, as he suddenly disappeared from sight. Thanatos was off and getting hurt before the conference even began. That wouldn't sit well with Eecheb or Trilla. Nana would be the first one to ask the so obvious question. It would seem, everyone else would wait for any sign of an answer from him. Poor accident prone Thanatos*
