Let me describe how much my EV training has paid of.
My lv.28 Migjtyena was battling a lv.36 Pikachu. Pikachu paralyzed Mightyena, but I was still faster in the end, and I took down most of its HP in a single bite. ^_^

And the added possibility of raising all his stats is a plus.
lol imagine being a trainer and running out of all your usable pokemon against Ho-oh and in a desperate attempt you throw a rock at it and it dies xD

I never used Articuno....I mark this as the new worse beating I have ever taken in my life. well...actually it ties with Zeph. Of course none of my Diamond Pokemon r EV trained.

Thanks for the battle, now I know it wasn't my Wi-Fi that was buggy. Also I now know my team isn't half bad, and it's not even done yet. ^_^

Maybe try this Snappy, put them to sleep 1st, then use a move that doesn't allow them to switch out. Then send in Articuno with mind reader/sheercold.
It mite sound nooby, but I think you'll be more successful that way. 3nodding

It's not nooby.. just banned from competitive play.
I used to do the same thing with my Articuno. But I had to go with a different moveset because OHKO moves are banned.
I only have one pokemon with a One Hit KO move out of all my pokemon now..
