Seph smiled back twisting her body out the way of Itaka's sword almost certain that she heared something go crack in the process "I agree, I would have thought that helmet would leave endless amounts of blind spots. But you know, fate sees to like me as I've managed to survive quite a few fights that I have had no chance of winning with the wing incident being the most unlucky" she shrugged bringing her sword into a fast horizontal sweep aimed at Itaka's back.
Hebal giggled to herself once her mouth was finally empty along with the plate "Thats no surprise then, you elfies seem to love all the different fruity varieties out in the world. Ahh but if I were Satoshi I would have teleported myself to a nice tropical paradise of relaxation right now" she sighed leaning back and shutting her eyes.

Felina rubbed her eyes and raised her head slightly, now paying more attention to the screens around them along with the giant window "Yeah you're right. She's a good kid and keeps her pets well under control. Fingers crossed for her for even if she doesn't win she deserves at least some fame for her efforts" she remarked taking Cid out of her bag so he could watch with who settled down on her lap and instead tried to doze off.

Mari frowned focusing on her opponent "Alright Lord Gando let us do battle with honour!" she said sternly while Arian bowed politely "Indeed milady such battles I crave for!" he said drawing his sword before launching himself forward with incredible speed bringing his sword down seeking to strike Mari between the eyes. Mari's sheath met with Arian's blade in the blink of an eye before Arian bounced back his armour rattled by Mari's blade at his waist.
Oassu grinned "Well I think just being in the finals gets her some fame automatically but if she keeps up performances like that then she'll gain some more yes" he said happily.
Itaka gasped forcefully swinging his sword to the side clanging with Seph's in a block before pushing it away and slicing the opposite direction "True but still serves as a good warning not to get into fights you can't win" he said "Gilgamesh carries magical and powerful swords ordinarily too so he's massively weakened in this tournament" he added.
Zadina giggled "Maybe she's not found a nice enough place, besides those paradises often require money to keep" he said "Where would you go though Miss Hebal?" he asked.

Seph sighed bringing up her claws acting as a block from Itaka's latest slice "Sometimes its not as simple as choosing whether or not to enter a fight you cant win, sometimes you just have to do it because you can't really win either way if you know what I mean..." she tried to explain without going into history while preparing a vertical slash but at the last minute changing to a horizontal movement aiming at his shoulders.
Hebal grinned opening one eye "I want to go to one of those little uninhabited islands off the coast of tricasia and buy one all to myself. Now that would be a nice place to relax in the sun. And then I'll grow lots of fruit trees and eat pinapples and bananas and coconuts all day long" she cheered "I'll do that in my dreams once Amane is all grown up and I'm retired"

Felina rubbed her head and reached over to the controlled at the other end of the couch in hope of turning the volume up "I just don't want her to go ignored in the tournament along with Seph just because Gil is strolling through the rounds as expected and making expectations go right up" she answered finally finding the volume up button "Arian is certainly a fast one if that first strike is anything to go by"

Oassu smiled "Of course he had to be good to beat Itaka" he said "still I know what you mean Mari and the others will need to work hard to earn recognition in this tournament since Gil is in it" he said deciding to order himself a coffee.
Arian rubbed his waist briefly where Mari had struck it before looking up to see Mari charging him. Their blades clashed violently in the air as Arian parried Mari's relentless assault however she was faster. As Mari's sword came slashing horizontally to his face Arian raised his armoured gauntlet and blocked it before one handedly rattling his sword across Mari's face sending her rolling away.
"Oh Jimma! He just took a hit! Is that even allowed?" "Well remember Arian normally uses a shield, he's probably used to blocking attacks like that all the time, it will count as a hit against him though but looking at this replay the alternative would've been a slice to the face which is worth more points a brave move by Arian." the other commentator noted.
Itaka shrugged "Well best not to get into those situations I guess" he said gasping suddenly as Seph's attack rattled his shoulder "Ouch...good hit" he said rubbing his shoulder where she struck it.
Zadina giggled "That would cost lots and lots and lots of money Miss Hebal, even me and my brother couldn't afford an island if we pooled our money together "But yes it does sound wonderful and I'm sure you could get the money somehow!" he said

Seph smirked moving back allowing him time to recover from the last hit "Can't avoid some things forever Itaka, like my blade for example" she chuckled lifting herself up off the ground "So how good do you reackon you are at flying targets" she asked sticking her tongue out at him from her new height just above his head.
Hebal gasped at Zadina "Nooo dn't say that! It's not nice to crush someones ultimate dream scenarios. And you totally could afford it with combined efforts of our pals because of all those diamonds everyone picked up if you wanted in on the whole thing" she tutted then pulled a silly face at the elf "Also I could save up really hard from making my awesome armour and travelling with you guys"

Felina smiled and laughed quietly to herself "Is it bad that a part of me is secretly hoping Gil loses out in the tournament to either Seph or Mari? It's just that a part of me is very curious as to what would happen if he did lose... bet there would be a total outrage with some people" she admitted feeling slightly guilty "Still tired?" she added as she watched Oassu order.

Oassu smirked not wishing to admit he'd thought the same "Well it's possible I suppose they are both very skilled and by this round judges mean nothing it's a simple elimination process to see whether they go through" he said thanking the waitress as she hovered away "Nah I'm feeling a bit spry just need a little energy" he said stretching.
Mari placed a hand on the ground springing herself to her feet before unleashing a series of blistering strikes cutting through the air sending shockwaves towards Arian who twirled through them igniting his sword as flametongue as he went before closing the gap rapidly and assaulting Mari before she could fully recover her balance. Mari gasped barely catching Arian's blade with her own and kicking off his chest to put some distance between him and her.
Itaka grunted "Hey I'm the one giving the practice here!" he said raising his sword again suddenly aware Enkidu was sitting nearby watching them "Hey boy, but I'm not worried about you flying I've fought you to a draw before when you flew once" he said activating his boltedge stance as lightning crackled down the practice blade.
Zadina nodded his head happily before taking a bite out of a muffin pausing for a moment to chew before removing the piece of muffin with his napkin "Blegh Kupo nut flavour" he spat placing the discarded muffin away from the others "I know but nevermind Miss Hebal you're always welcome at my country castle if you like" he said happily

Seph raised her eyebrow watching the lightning carefully for a moment "Well consider this practice for both of us and just ignore Enkidu for now, its not like he can talk and tell Gil what we're up to anyway" she chuckled wondering to herself when the last time was that she saw Itaka using that skill.
Hebal laughed tilting her head towards the discarded muffin for examination "hmm... that muffin doesn't look so bad to me in terms of taste but never mind. At least you can say you've tried kupo nuts before even if you no likie" she sing pinching a bit and trying it herself "Eww ok I agree with you its not nice. Better have better muffins at your place or even better yet could we get your cooks to do custom made ones?"

Felina shuddered a little watching one of the more close up screens of the fight "That could have turned nasty for Mari there but I didn't realise that the judges no longer decide but thinking about it I guess they aren't as short for time now so long as they don't fight all day" she smiled rubbing Cid's ears "If your ever needing that little bit extra energy by the way just ask and I can fix you up in no time"

Oassu shook his head "I'm fine don't worry just you know shaking off the little tiredness that remains after you wake up but no it's just an elimination round more or less in the finals, course they are still there for all the rules and awkward judgements like if it's a draw" he said.
Mari dodged to the side as Arian brought his sword up violently sending a trail of fire along the the ground barely missing Mari. Mari frowned regaining balance unable to find Arian who had disappeared before sensing something above her. Moving to the side and lashing out with her blade she struck Arian as he descended from above her before swiftly moving her blade high and bringing it down on Arian's back smashing him to the ground.
Itaka nodded "Yeah probably just wanting a good show" he said leaping up and slicing as lightning crackled the air wondering to himself how Mari was doing elsewhere.
Zadina nodded "I guess but I suppose it's fair to be here and the moogles must love it" he said smiling before thinking about his cooks ability "Yeah I think she could probably make muffins never really asked her about it" he said.

Hebal grinned pulling apart into smaller pieces her own remaining muffin she had ordered for breakfast on the side "You should ask her to make some next time your home, and see what other great desserts she can make. When we see the waitress again we should totally ask her what the kupo nuts taste like to them" she suggested glancing around at the other diners.
Seph laughed quietly as she flew from side to side debating where to attack Itaka next "Can't blame Enkidu for wanting that, would be pretty boring to watch someone all the time who always wins at everything and leaves no surprises" she grinned swooping down to Itaka's left for a strike of the sword.

Felina scratched her head unsure if it was even possible to draw in an elimination match "Would be kinda bad if it was a tie I think but what are the odds of it happening anyway? Can't be that high" she shrugged stretching her legs out before lying back down now that Cid had decided to climb Oassu "What do you think the judges would be thinking now? Perhaps that Mari would gain points if needed judging based on that move?"

Oassu nodded "Your probably right" he chuckled lowering his hand to give Cid an easier time climbing up "I guess so lord knows how they determine things but that's only in the case they knock each other out so doubt it" he said taking his coffee as it was placed on the table.
Arian groaned as he pushed himself off the ground swiftly rolling to avoid another blow from Mari and lashing out with his sword striking her ankles sending her rolling to the ground before hopping up himself.
Zadina nodded "I suppose so, she's only really made elven desserts but I bet she could try other things and I doubt we'd get anything good from the moogles" he chuckled "They're kupo for kupo nuts" he snickered recalling hearing the phrase somewhere.
Itaka swiveled blocking Seph's attack before leaping aiming to kick Seph in the side as she passed "I don't know a lot of the time I bet a fiend like that is involved in the fights plus fighting alone in the wild must be a challenge for Gil" he said
