Hehe, I used to love booboos like that when I was in the scheduled work force. It was a bonus day!
Good morning everyone, and happy Independence Day to les américaines! hehe, I start a French course next week. xd
We just had our Canada Day celebrations on Saturday, so I went to the capital of BC to celebrate. It was completely mad! Drunkeness was the prevailing mood, and it made me a little nervous. I was never bothered by it when I was younger, but I've seen violence just erupt for no reason in these situations, so now I try to avoid crowds of drunken people. We tried getting to our suite, near the parliament buildings, after the fireworks, and there must have been 30 thousand people in around the harbour, and the Empress Hotel lawns, all crammed shoulder to shoulder. We had to move up a few blocks, and walk behind the parliament to get home. Hehe, lots of tourists were staggering around, lost and confused. We helped people with directions.
I got back yesterday, and was exhausted. I walked at least 20 kilometers this weekend. I slept like a baby, last night.

Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much. My work season is in full gear and some days my body hurts so much I can barely lift my arms to the keyboard! Happy 4th! cheese_whine Party at my house this evening! Lots of food and drink. Luckily you can see the fireworks from our house so you dont have to get out in the rat race! Cheers!!
