Across the town far away from the mansion and everybody kira sat on the front steps to a house staring blankly as the traffic went by.

Pegasus was still staying at the mansion for the time being, but had busied himself with many work-related things. Ryou and Khalid seemed to have retreated into the mansion. Yugi had been initially angry with the two, for the incidents that had happened, but when a full week went by adnd there was no word from even Ryou, and no attempt by the two to get Kai back, he grew awfully worried. "Atem said that Luci and Kira had moved out." He said to Kawi, in their apartment. "I think we should either go talk to Ryou and Khalid, or try and find Kira. I don't like where everything is going."

"Your right. If we go look for kira we should bring atem." Kawi said holding kai. She had bought things to care for him.

"Yeah. He should be at his apartment." Yugi got up, stretching. "We could kill two birds with one stone, as well... Stop by the mansion and see if Ryou or Khalid wants to join."

"Alright. I'll get kai bundled up" Kawi said and headed into the spare bedroom which she had turned into kai's room.

"I'll call Atem." Yugi said, going over to the phone. He picked it up and dialed Atem's apartment number.
Atem glanced up when the phone began to ring. He frowned and got up, answering it. "Yeah?" He was silent, listening to his hikari. They spoke for a little while, as Yugi explained what they were planning. "Sure, I'll come. I'll be right over." He hung up and then looked around the apartment, wondering where Ember was, and if he even wanted her to come too.

Ember was currently in the kicthen. She had made a ham samwich and was sitting at the table eating it.

Atem went to Ember. "Yugi and Kawi are going to go out and try to find Kira, and maybe visit Khalid and Ryou as well. I'm going with them. Do you want to stay here?"

"Oh i'll come" Ember said. She swalowed the last bit of her sandwich and put the plate in the sink.

"Okay." Atem held out a hand for her. "But be careful" He headed towards the door with her, not wanting to keep Yugi and Kawi waiting.

"Ok" Ember said taking atem by the hand and walking with him.

Yugi had gone outside to wait and perked up when he saw Atem and Ember approaching. He looked around to see if Kawi ahd come out with Kai yet.

Kawi had just steped outside holding kai who was all bundled up.

Yugi was glad when it didn't take too long to get everyone into the car. They headed to the mansion, with Atem driving. Upon arriving, Yugi got out of the car along with his yami.
