The current story arc involves Maddy, whom you've met before. Her character is a half-demon, and a bunch of other demons have invaded the world to fight for supremacy. The demons seem to be in league with Maddy's sister (also half-demon), and are hunting for her father (full demon and reigning king of the demon world).
Over the last few months, we've encountered - and killed - most of the demons. Each one coresponds to a Pokemon type. The remaining ones are (in order of the type chart):
Normal
Rock
Ghost
Dragon
Dark
