"Ok..."Perrian said and blinked as he say Bellamin run out. Luljeta saw the running away person and went up to Perrian. Perrian nodded after about 30 seconds. "Luljeta, let's do that. I think Bellamin might be hiding something, but I dunno. Luljeta, follow Bellamin. Come back if you're in trouble. Protect him if he needs it. I'll be near, you know how to find me." Perrian said and Luljeta nodded. Luljeta flew off and screeched a bit as she flew off into the dark and windy night. She was on a hunt for Bellamin to find out what was happening.
Perrian walked over to Lazarus and Kail. "So...I wonder...what just happened!?!"

Kail is caught off guard by the explosion of flash powder. Basidia cowers behind Kail ah he leans down and covers their faces with his cape. However, thanks to the wind he spots Bellamin making a break for it out the door. "Basidia, follow him. Summon me if you need help."
"Yes, father" Basida then bounds out the door after Bellamin hot on his tail.
"Kail then stands up. "Gentlemen, it appears we have touched Bellamin on sensitive subject. Now being that it is his own private business I usually would not bother. However I feel his life might be in danger. I must leave briefly as I consult some old family contacts for information. I might suggest that you follow him. Basidia will summon me if I am needed." With that a purplish portal opens behind Kail with he proceeds to walk through. The portal closes once he is through.

Lazarus chuckles shaking his head, "I hope, gentlemen, that you will advise me if he needs help? I do not have the assistance that you two do, to send someone after him. Though, I am close to being able to create a minion for myself. Lazarus smiles, and take a drink from his usual stores.
Lazarus pondered all the research he had done on creating a simblance of life; an undead minion.

Some time passes until Kail’igen once again appears in the Inn. He walks over to where he had left Perrian and Lazarus. “Well my fiends my contacts have provided me with some interesting information. Bellamin isn’t as innocent as he would like to appear. Apparently he has been dabbling quite a bit in black market alchemy. Bellamin has been snapping up illegal alchemy ingredients like they were candy. Problem is, this stuff is expensive, and you and I both know Bellamin has no real stable source of income. Yet he seems to have no problem paying for his hobby. I think this letter has something to do with his unknown source of income. Any debts he owes to the black market don’t seem to have been called in yet. I can find no one that will fess up to this letter. “
Basidia runs after Bellamin as fast as her little legs can carry her. Even so there is no way she cam keep up with a grown man. “Bellamin…huff…huff…Why are you running…My dad…huff…just want to…huff…speak with you.” Unfortunately Basida then trips over a rock and falls. Tears begin to well up in her eyes as she looks at her scraped knee. “Come back here you big meanie.” Basida then begins to cry.

"Hmm...odd. I wonder what he is doing. Can you find out where the letter came to or track its orgins?" Perrian said to Kail.
Luljeta sees Basidia fall down as she is following Bellamin. She swooped down and landed next to Basidia. 'Get on me, now!' She said telepathically to Basidia.

Lazarus chuckles lightly, shaking his head, "Somehow I knew everything with that spellsword wasn't as level as he always stated. I think, as his friends, we need to help him, instead of just turning him over to this loan-shark-type." Lazarus was always one for fighting injustice, and high interest rates were injustice to him... in a sense.

Basidia nods and jumps on Luljeta’s back.
Back in the tavern Kail looks at Perrian and shakes his head. I could find nothing about source of the letter. Never the less I believe we should investigate this further and see if we can’t help Bellamin. I Think we should go see where he ran off to.

Perrian nods. "Well, Luljeta is followin Bellamin right now. I could pull her back, but if I did I think we might lose his trail completely. So, best idea is to look for a flying dragon...ya...not much help but lets go look!" Perrian said.
'Hang on' Luljeta said telepathically to Basidia and continued to follow Bellamin. 'Bellamin, stop running' She tried to say to Bellamin telepathically. If that message would actually get to him depends on if he wanted to listen.

"...forty six, forty seven, forty eight. Who would have thought it was forty eight paces to the tavern from the center of town?" Siren asked aloud as she entered the tavern. Her question went pointedly unanswered but alas she hadn't really addressed anyone so the expectation of a response was nil. Plopping down in an unoccupied chair she smiled pleasantly at anyone whom cared to look her way.

The tavern is empty, except for the bartender, I think, and a few random people seating in some seats.
(No, I'm not planning to do anything yet in the tavern, but I'm just posting this so people aren't afraid to post here just to roleplay.)

[[Well I shall restart the RPing here... And I get to show off my new toy! Though it looked better and bigger in Photoshop. mrgreen ]]
Karythelia waltzed into the bar, glancing at the suspiciously empty tavern. "This is really weird... What happened to all the carousing adventurers and tired caravaners?" she wondered aloud. "Normally you have to beat people to get this place quiet..."
She flopped down listlessly into a comfy chair. "Well only one thing to do then!"
Slyly making sure no one was watching, the bard began to pull daisy chains from nowhere. Kary stealthily began to weave them around the taverns customers, with a quiet diabolical chuckle.
"That's just what that big sleeping dwarf needed to complete his outfit!" blaugh

((Can't let the RP die... MUST... GO ON!!!)) A cold mist seeps through the door of the tavern as the street becomes obscured by a thick, unnatural fog. Then, a form begins to appear, indistinct at first, but soon the figure, and their ungodly-huge sword begin to more fully materialize. A woman, you now realize, wearing a flowing cape of multiple, black tendrils. Suddenly, the gray mist begins to dawn a blood-red overcast, and what seems like ash begins to fall from the sky. She carries a sword of ungodly proportions, nearing almost nine feet in length and almost a foot and a half thick. Blood seems spattered on her face, arms and clothing, and worst of all...she looks pissed. ((How I WISH I could draw like this. Ugh)) She stops before the tavern, eying it suspiciously as she absentmindedly pulls out a small, glowing orb from a key-chain around her neck and begins to lightly finger it.

((Wherever did you get that picure Vincent?))
"Jeez... Only a two hour recess this time!" The spellsword sighed. "Well little friend, atleast I have comfort in that you have to go to those stupid meetings with me!"
The little wisp didn't respond.
"And atleast they gave me some stuff to practice on." He was shouldering a rather large and heavy looking bag of goods all the way from the habour district. Sighing a sigh of relief, he knew he could find comfort in the old tavern just down the street... And he even prepared a little excuse in case everyone was still there.
Rather blinded by mist and ash, Bellamin ran forward in blind joy; the majority of regulars knowing to get out of his way. However, today he slammed into a dark form infront of his beloved tavern. Even with the extra load, he was bounced backwards a good six feet. Pieces of rusted metal and a large ammount of chalk spill out over the pavement. The spellsword landed on his back.
"Hey lady! Don't just stand the-... Ere. Oh..." He swore in dwarven at the size of that sword.

((Hahaha...Deviant Art has some incredible artists on there. Some are crap-olla, but for the most part, it's really just amazing what some of them can do!))
Only after bouncing back do you realize that it was not from hitting into her head on...though with the extra weight of that sword it wouldn't have mattered, but was actually from running head long into some kind of powerful magical barrier. The lady turns her eyes to you, a look of utter rage dancing in her vision. Thing is, somehow, you know that rage is not from what you did, but from a lifetime of let downs and losses. "You...spellsword. Yes, I know what you are...I come from the Land of Mists, a month walk southeast from the east exit of the mountain's trade route. Are people there are suffering from great loss at the hands of a powerful man. He hunts our people, turning them into beasts with his magical experiments and turning them on their loved ones, just to see them suffer at their worst. I have tried to defeat him, but I lost and have been wondering the lands looking for someone strong enough to beat him...Gather your friends, Spellsword, and save my lands. If you can manage to, you will earn great rewards beyond your imagination."
"Now...prove to me that you are the one, and I will give you a taste of this treasure now." She moves into a more relaxed, fighting stance as she faces you, obviously ready for a good rumble.
((Cue fight now. Also, the dungeon she has proposed is for a 30cp+ party of at least 3-5 people. Recommended members is 4. Bellamin, should you choose to join it, you would be going as soon as you finish "How to Wake A Potion". Plenty of time for me to finish up "Spirit's Calling" with my group so they can help you out...at least, one would hope. sweatdrop ))
