Minerva the Marvelous Minerva waited for him quietly, her arms crossed. Over the course of a few seconds, everyone felt immense pressure pressing on them, before it was released all at once, with the assembeled group ((Jerhic, Arch, Sean, Minerva and Xeen))found themselves suspended over a vast expanse of nothing, stars, planets and other bodies whipping past them before the pressure began to increase, like swimming to the bottom of a deep swimming pool, the release all at once as the re-appeared before the presidential compound at the City's center.

"Ah cahn stihl seeh theh Seer. He's wahlkihn 'eah nahw."
/Was that all together necessary/ The Seer chose to reiterate the point, because it was funny.

Sahira (O-o I almost called her Ra! *throws things at you*) nodded. "It is. It fights off a good amount of chill during the deep hours of the night." She went back to the kitchenette and poured some hot water into the mug after dropping in one of the tea bags. After it had steeped enough, she added a spoonful of honey to the mix and walked back, handing the mug to the Chief.
There was a soft muttering of French coming from Ruby, who was curled up on top of the pillow, her red curls splaying out over the side, fast asleep.
"I drugged her." Sahira glanced at Ruby then draped herself over her own pillow. "Pinch of a slow acting drowsy herb in her tea. She was exhausted and she wasn't going to be sleeping naturally any time soon."

Minerva quickly stepped towards the bushes of the building and then proceeded to get ill and lose her breakfast. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and walked back to the group. Blinking, teleporting, phasing, and other unnatural forms of travel always made her a bit sick in the stomach. "Please give me warning next time one of you tries to do that." Speed she could deal with, and loved, but messing with pressure and the like, not a chance.

"Kinda wondered why she conked out like that." The Chief said, prodding her head with a finger. "Didn't think she was so tired a bit of drowsy medicine would knock her out cold, though."

Ruby swore at him in French, but remained quite asleep.
"So the angel talked about her non-stop but never mentioned her sensitivity to drugs, toxins and other unusual elements?" Sahira played with the fringe of the pillow twining the strands around her fingers. "Or did you just start zoning out all the Ruby talk? Don't worry about her. It wouldn't be the first time I've drugged her, though the last time was preceding a murder attempt..." Sahira shrugged as if it was nothing.

The Chief smirked. "And no, I don't think he mentioned it." He shrugged, tilting his head to the side slightly. "Not to say I didn't just block him out after a while when he talked about her, but I don't think he mentioned it."

Sahira chuckled, remembering how hard it had been back in Union to get any useful information from the angel at all. The Chief raised an eyebrow for just a moment, but quickly returned to normal, despite the sudden wariness he got from Sahira. "Prolly wouldn't talk on that, no. Don't think the mimics had much in the way of null fields, though."

"No, those hadn't been quite brought to use as a weapon until later, Minerva had the prototype if I recall correctly. But I wasn't around during the mimic wars, so I couldn't really say for sure." Sahira continued to toy with the fringe of her pillow. "Am I making you nervous?"

"We will have to kill our way up. Perhaps brinigng the chief would have been wiser?"

"Can we just blow up the whole building and take them all in one sweep? Or are there innocents in there too who will make us all feel guilty for it later on?" Minerva tapped a finger on the hilt of her gun, anxious to get things moving.
