Once again Sciz looked to Maurice who appeared to be doing nothing except looking at the battle calmly. Sciz then nodded and suddenly had a rainbow outline appear about him. The three small fireballs came and cleanly bounced off the shield. "Oh no way, a Protect!" Mag shouted realizing the attack. But it doesn't work twice in a row very often. "Go for it keep up the ember attacks!" Mag comanded.
Sunfire did as told and began to launch another attack. But instead of using Protect this time Sciz used Double Team. The flames went flying right through one of five scizors destroying it. But the clones quickly vanished after glancing back to Maurice. Sciz then came in fast as his wings began to glow white hot, Steel Wing.
"Sand Attack and dodge!" Mag told Sunfire. The small fox attempted the manuver but Sciz was just too fast. He easily blocked the sand from affecting him and then smashed Sunfire with a Steel Wing and sent him reeling once more.

"Dang it." Mag said under his breath. "Wish and then get in with whatever combos you can think of. You have my permission to go crazy!" Mag shouted. Maybe I can play his game and get in by surprise. I hope anyway... Sunfire nodded in recognition and then began a campaign of dodges as Sciz came after him with many Metal Claw attacks.
After five or six misses the Pokemon jumped back into a more defensive manner. While he was retreating Sunfire took the chance and shot of an Ember attack. But it was to no avail as Sciz used Protect once more. But he didn't anticipate Sunfire to move in with a rapid Tackle attack. Finally they were getting on the board. "Good job!" Mag commended his tired ally.
"I agree! Nice hit but Sciz won't be taken that easily! Nohohoho..." Maurice chuckled to himself.

Maven finally got off the phone with her mother and ran out the door to grab Phyra.
"Come on girl we gots to get ourselves to Celadon to pick up our items. If I'm correct I have enough money to get us a few good pokéblocks and some extra treats for you...then...we may just have to go back and suck up to mom. ooh I hope it doesn't come to that."
Maven got on Phyra who did a prancing step and took off down the road towards Celadon. With Phyra as excited as Maven they were feeding off each other. It didn't take long to reach Celadon's Pokémart. Maven jumped off and put Phyra away as she entered the store.
"Hey there can I help you with anything?" The clerk asked as Maven walked in
"Yes actually" Maven walked up to the counter and pointed to the items she was asking for.
"I'd like to get 5 rare berries, 10 common and 10 uncommon please as well as how much is the Pokébox"
"ahh a new co-ordinator in the works here you go darlin. Best of luck to you and your pokémon. Win a few ribbons darlin they cost a bit but go ahead and save up"
"Thank you very much." Maven quickly shoved it all back in her back pack as she let Phyra out she let out a neigh as the adrenaline pumped through their viens they headed back to Saffron City to thei Pokécenter to make some pokéblocks and listen to mom to go on about how worried she is. (( Just thought I'd point out that you don't have enough money to make these purchases, and that if do buy something you should PM the cost and items to me.

"Well we'll just see about that." Sunfire and Sciz had both taken a moment to rest, though still in battle stance, they were on seperate sides of the so called arena about them. Suddenly particles formed around Sunfire. They glowed orange and gold and were going about his body recovering the damage gotten thus far.
"Wow a bred move! Hahahaha. You do have some tricks about you. Well we have some of our own!" Maurice stated with a nod as Sciz looked to him and nodded. Suddenly he began to wave his arms about in a strange pattern, Swords Dance.
Sunfire glanced to Mag and then with confirmation dashed in for another Tackle or Ember or something. Mag didn't know really what Sunfire would do.

The Ultra Ball rocked back and forth on the ground for a few heart-stopping seconds before the red light in the center dimmed, and it became still. Kasiya closed her eyes, letting her breath escape in a huge sigh, a small tear trickling down the side of her face. Whether it was from the pain of her new wound, the realization of capturing such a strong Pokemon or the situation in general, she wasn't sure as she stood up, holding up Shocker's Pokeball and finally recalled the brave Raichu. She walked over to where the Ultra Ball lay with surprisingly unwavering steps and picked it up. After staring at it for a few moments, she held it up, and nodded. "Casimir," she said quietly. "I'm calling you Casimir." With that, the ball began to shimmer, and it vanished from her hand as it was sent back to Professor Oak's laboratory, or at least that's what she assumed. Fang flew over to where she was standing, holding another Pokeball in his small, clawed feet - Hiro's. Kasiya gratefully accepted it, and clicked it back into its place on her belt before she practically jumped at the Crobat, pulling them both to the ground. "I was so worried! Don't you ever do that to me again!" she half sobbed, half screamed as she squeezed him tightly. Fang let out a gleeful squeak as he wrapped his two longer wings around his trainer.

Maven decided against going to the pokécenter as she entered Saffron again. Instead she entered the Massive Contest Hall and went right to the machine.
"Hey welcome back. Maven O'Connell!"
"All registered now am I?"
"You sure are. Making up your Pokéblocks now."
Maven nodded as she started chopping up some common berries.
"Did you know a show was happening. Some old champions are showing off their pokémon and their moves and stuff. Thought you would've went their for the spectacle."
"Needed the contest pass first. I knew I had to get it here. Phyra and I still need to train there's lots for me to teach her. Alexia Claythorne won last year...one day I hope to go up against her...she's one of the reasons I chose to be a coordinator. Saw her go through it last year and thats when I decided...I was training just to be in Pokémon Care. With knowing the best food for each Pokémon I'm still doing that but with Phyra at my side thought I'd try my luck here."
"You should go check out the stage to see about competition going on."
"Yeah I should. Just going to finish up here." Maven finished chopping up her common berries and put them through to get her pokéblocks.
After a few moments of feet shifting Maven grabbed her blocks and put them in her bag and ran out the door pulling out Phyra as she went and followed the streamers and cheers.

Helios stifled a look of slight disgust, and simply wiped his face with a paw, shaking his head. Turning quickly, the adorable Vulpix trotted back over to his trainer, and started pawing at his pant leg, perhaps to get away from any further lick attempts from the Sealeo. Keegan obliged, and picked him up, counting the money Dante had handed him. "Yeah, this is enough, and then some," he nodded, sticking it into his pockets. "Dinner's definitely paid for too, and we can most likely order anything we want." He smiled at the baby Mudkip, but quickly averted his gaze, not wanting to provoke her into giving him another dirty look. "I'm gonna go pay for the... stuff," he said, looking uneasy for a second before he disappeared back into the store. The kind sales clerk had already bagged his purchases, and he quickly handed over the money as she told him what he owed. "Keep the change," he nodded, giving a charismatic smile as he slung the bag over his shoulder, Helios tucked under the other arm.

Seeing Shiva lick Helios caused a small sight to escape Dante's lips, reachingback to his belt he put the seal pokemon back. Then unclipping a new pokeball he put Levi inside of it as well, he wasn't sure how the baby pokemon would act at a resteraunt, he trusted Kenny but not any other of his pokemon other then Apollo to behave. Sighing again he leaned agains't the wall waiting for Keegan to finish purchasing his things. Kenny just floated around his feet poking a few pebbles on the ground.

The bell on the front door of the store chimed as Keegan stepped back outside, looking around until he spotted 'Diana' leaning up against a nearby wall. "We should probably keep our eyes open for Jaeshan," he said with a nod. "I suppose meeting him would be your first real test to see how well you can pull off being a girl," he smirked. Helios rolled his eyes. He didn't understand what the two male humans were up to, and it was pretty clear that he didn't really care, either. The fox wriggled and squirmed until he was perched on Keegan's shoulder, looking disdainfully at the cloak wrapped around Dante's shoulders.

At Keegan's comment 'Daina' rolled 'her' eyes'. "I have pulled it off so far what makes you think I can't do it this time?" He asked. Kenny who had gotten bored from playing with the rock's floated up closer to his trainer. Floating behind him and decided to rest in his favorite place, ghostly hands on one shoulder so that he could hang on and yet still watch everything that was going on. around him. Not for the first time was he glad that he could float, it made things a lot easier. "Well are you ready to start looking?" 'Daina' asked curiosly.

...Mag didn't know really what Sunfire would do. "And there-in lies your problem!" Mag suddenly heard. He looked about but no one seemed to be talking at the moment. He turned to the fight. Sunfire had done an Ember attack but it failed once more due to protect.
"I said that is your problem! Hahaha..." the voice stated again. "What? Mag asked as he looked to Maurice. "So you finally get it huh?" the old man asked. "I'm doing so well because I am perfectly synchornized with my pokemon. We know what eachother are thinking and basically speak telepathically. Hahaha..."
"Shall I end it Maurie?" a different stronger sounding voice stated. "Yes I believe so! Do it!" Maurie answered. Sciz then began to glow glowing silver as winds began to form around him. He suddenly flew in a fast red and silver blob right at Sunfire. With a quickly hit he knocked the pokemon into the air and then sent of a terribly powerfull Silver Wind that wipped him to and fro in the air. He crash landed after about a 20 foot drop.

Mag quickly ran over to his beloved Sunfire and held him in his arms. The pokemon was severly beaten but at least he was alive, if unconcious. "Oh man... I knew I shouldn't have put you through such a harsh battle. I should have stopped after the first few attacks." Mag began to stroke his poor partner. "Yeah you should have!" Mag suddenly heard as Sunfire opened his eyes a looked at him.

"Sunfire is that you?!" Mag asked the pokemon that lay in his grasp. "Of course, did you think I couldn't talk just as fine as a human? We pokemon aren't all idiots." "I knew that, I just didn't think we could communicate like this." Mag now thought at his pokemon instead of speaking out loud. "I didn't really think we could either. But it seems that it is in fact possible. Maurice and Sciz did it the whole time."

"We won!" Z said jumping up and down with Shino in his arms. "You were perfect! Your silver winds were all amazing and I think they might have been even shinier then usual!" Z said smiling. "Nin!" Shino said cheerfully. "That was great Amy! You so kcicked their butts!! Yor psybeams were even more colorful than usual I think!" Lyn said winking. "Dad would be so proud of you gu. . . . Dad!" Z and Lyn said together when they realized that they were leaving the country and had not said good bye to dad or mom yet. "The train is making a stop in Slateport. All people heading for slate port get off." The train loud speaker said. "We need to get off!" Z and Lyn said together rushing off of the train when it stopped. "We need to find a way to get to pacifilodge right now so we can say bye to mom and dad and then go to pewter city!" They said to each other franticaly. "But Trains don't run to Pacifidlog!" Z said running his hands through his hair. "And most ferries would not be powerful enough!" Lyn said twiddling her fingers. "What are we going to do!!!!!" They yeled fallling to their knees.

Keegan shrugged. "Ready as I'll ever be. Although, I'm not even really sure where to start. I don't know if Jaeshan will be arriving by train or what." He scratched his chin, then laughed as he took his PokeNav out of his pocket. He browsed through the numbers, shaking his head. "We should have designated a meeting place," he said, selecting Jaeshan's name and hitting dial. Helios twitched his ears and shook his head again, yawning loudly from his perch atop his trainer's shoulder. Keegan scratched the Vulpix under the chin gently, waiting patently for Jaeshan to answer.
