Lacuna sat down on a stool next to Canti and smiled at Lena.
"Lena darling, would you like to dance?", she said. "You're always stuck behind that counter and it's exhausting watching you so bored.", she smiled.

Canti laughed lightly at Lena's brother's ignoranceof his ster. It reminded her of Mitsuru.

Akki grinned back at Lacuna, glad she seemed to feeling better. Sitting down again, she started humming a little as a slow song started playing. She smiled at Lawrence, her hand on the table near his. in invitation.
Jak held back a chuckle as he held his hand out to help her up.

Lestrange? Arista thought for a moment. Interesting. Lecrosse is what I've been using...But appearently that's not it. She paused and looked back to Rhos. And what brings you to land, my darling seadweller?
Liam saw Phelia fall from her seat, but didn't realize who it was. He peered to her a moment, making his way to offer her a hand. Are you alright? he asked, trying not to chuckle.

Lena giggled as she said to Canti "Well actually.... he usually is...." she then smiled over to Lacuna and said "I'd love to" as she moved from behind the bar.

Is that... Is that an 'okay' then? Clasping her hand quickly Larry got up and bowed slightly. Is there anything in particular you'd like to drink or shall we dance again? Cracking a silly grin once again he felt jittery and..non-book happy.
Merryn hopped back to the bar. Permission to come aboard Captain Lena?

Phelia looked up at the two men standing above her, one she knew, one she didn't, and blushed, brightly, tilting her head down and hiding behind her hair, trying to push to her feet on her own, unsucessfully, for the moment.
"Yes, I'm fine, thank you," she said, tryign to sound cool and detatched, and coming ou sullen and pouty.

"Excuse me while I steal her for a moment", Lacuna said to Canti. (They still haven't been introduced, lol)
Lacuna smiled and held her hand out for Lena, leading her into the middle of the dance floor.

Canti blinked and watched Lena run off with a girl she didn''t know, shrugging and leaning back on the bar, sipping her pina colada and watching events unfold for her sister.

Quinn reached over and grabbed Mikey's hand, looking more serious than he ever had in his life. "My mom just died, and my brothers want me to help pay for her funeral." he paused and held up the letter that he had just been looking at. "And they said if I don't help them pay, they're going to come here and take me back home. I don't want to go back there, it's so horrible there, everyone in town hates me.....I'm scared..." He then gave Mikey a look, telling him that he had not told anyone else this. Why did you tell him all that?!
I had to tell someone! And everyone else here that I know well hates me.
.....that's still not a good enough reason.....once he had had the argument with himself in his head, he closed his eyes and held his face, looking like he felt very stupid for telling Mikey all he had.

Liam couldn't help but sort of pout. Alrighty...If you're sure. he said, stepping back to give her a little room. Long time no see... he said with a smile, glancing to her brother nervously. He gave Mitsuru a bow of the head, a gesture he hoped would be recognized as a 'hello'.
'Bat Woman'? Arista said, a slighlty confused but rather offended look apon her pale face. I am hardly a bat...While I do enjoy the taste of blood, I am hardly something to consider a flying rodent! she spat, crossing her arms and huffing. For your information, my mermaid friend...I'm a demigod. Born to a god and a half goddess...the other quarter being a waternymph. Which makes me, really, in a way, like you. she huffed.

PockyFille Harbird, ever the gallant, held the door open for Xileana. i thought she was pretty before, but man, this girl knows how to dress to kill! He scanned the club for others of the bookstore group. *Xil Pointed out Akki and the others* They're over there, Harbrid. *She slipped her hand into his and guided him to where everyone else was* Hey, guys.
