Shinji paused and slowly pulled himself to sit up again. My...mother? He looked to Lena with wide eyes, searching silently through the minds of his siblings to see if any of them knew she was here, or that she was even thinking of coming.

"Yes your mother.... I assume you didn't know she was even here, huh..." she said with a small laugh "I met her when I took a walk through the gardens on the way home earlier..."

Shinji still looked to Lena with wide eyes, mumbling something under his breath. She didn't say anythign...about me...did she? he whimpered, smacking his hand to his forhead and muttering more in another language.

This made him whimper some, and he let his shoulders fall. Oh geez...he mumbled, falling to the side across the bed, still sitting crosslegged.

Lena shifted to lay beside Shinji and played with his hair, smiling to him as she said "It really wasn't that bad....."

Shinji shrugged and shifted closer to Lena. Iono...she got mean when I tried to go out with a friend once...She was my dad's friend's daughter, and for some reason mom did NOT want us together. She was vicious! he laughed, shaking his head and pulling closer to Lena to kiss her softly. But if hse was nice to you, that's a good sign.

Lena smiled and nodded, giving Shinji another quick kiss before saying "she seemed to approve.... she wanted to know how we met and how long we'd been together..."

Shinji nodded and heaved a relieved sigh. That's good...I'm glad she was nice...he chuckled, shifting to brush his fingers through Lena's hair. I wonder why she didn't tell anyone she was coming...He paused a moment, eralizing that half the people here would ave probably left should they had known ahead of time their mother wanted to come to the mortal world.
