What book would you advise everyone to read and why? Handmaids Tale by Margret Atwood... When I first read it, over a decade ago, I never thought such a state could exist. (Hello North Dakota)

Which viewpoint do you prefer out of these choices: 1st person, 3rd person or omniscient? Depends on the plot and overall prose.
