"Sometimes my words don't make any sense when I say them..."


Renivere was startled when she was starting to get ushered out, but Sethrian took her hand and led her out of the infirmary. Renivere kind of wanted to just walk with Sethrian though and besides, she owed it to him to take him to the infirmary since she caused his illness. Now then... how to politely decline.

"Cyril you must rest!" Renivere said firmly. "Your condition permits you to not return favors and your well-being is enough and no extra thanks is needed."

Besides if he got sick while walking her to her dorm, Renivere was going to have a major guilt attack.

Renivere turned to Sethrian when he mentioned their postponed date and she smiled. "Yes! Tomorrow! Shall we meet outside the school?" Renivere asked, learning from last time's mistake.

Sethrian rolled his eyes. "Your melodramatic sob story is more of a nuisance than you are," he said. "If you have a thirty minute walk ahead of you, you should consider phoning him and asking to stay the night. I doubt it will be a problem if you sleep at my dorm tonight seeing as how you still have yet to fully recover from being beaten up earlier today."

"Even if you have a thirty minute walk home, we are unable to accompany you as it's near curfew for students boarding at the school. It is safest for you to either return to my dorm with me or call for a ride, rather than walk home alone."

He squeezed Renivere's hand. "Yes. In the morning? Perhaps we can visit the aquarium and then have lunch?"

(( *rages and rues the day I put naivety as one of Renivere's flaw* ))

"Yes!" Renivere agreed. She didn't mind visiting the aquarium. She didn't see much of the ocean in her life so the aquarium would be fascinating.

As for lunch... Renivere wondered if it would be okay to eat out or she could always make lunch and then they can have a picnic or something? Renivere wondered which seemed better. Sitting at a table or spreading out a blanket at the park and eating homemade food. Hmmm... she was starting to like the park idea.

Renivere couldn't help but pity the boy and she completely fell for the sob story Cyril suddenly conjured up. There was obviously guilt since she made him waste so much energy due to the snowball fight and also the guilt for not reaching out a hand to this poor shy person who just wanted to make friends with people.

And as prefects it was their duty to help other students! Sethrian really was very kind to offer his dorm as a place for him to stay. "Perhaps he is shy to ask, Sethrian as Cyril has no friends to turn to." Renivere remarked. "Thank you, Sethrian for coming to aid."

Renivere hesitated before saying her next line. "Cyril is needing of more assistance than me. Worry not, I will return to my dorm safely." Besides, she was clearly stronger than Cyril apparently. So it'd be better if Sethrian walked him back to the dorm.

((Something just occurred to me. Since Sethrian is able to sense heat sources--including fairly minor changes in body heat when someone is flustered or ill--I should probably ask what sort of heat Cyril is putting off and if it might feel 'weird' to Sethrian))

((So he'd basically produce significantly less heat than a normal person? Not that Seth will realize he's a robot since people like Isamu don't put off any heat anyway. But he'd at least notice it ))

"Very well," Sethrian said with a sigh. He leaned to kiss the top of Renivere's head. "Then I will let you go the rest of the way on your own. Please be careful. I'll get Cyril to my dorm quickly as well."

He looked at the smaller boy, frowning a bit. Though he looked Human, Sethrian was fairly certain he wasn't due to the low output of body heat. It wasn't too unusual as there were several people at the academy with lower body temperature. It just always set him on edge when he couldn't sense heat from someone--it made it more difficult to read them.

"No, you're no doubt still tired from earlier. It would be best if I got you to the dorm quickly so you could rest. The female dorms are closer so I'm sure Renivere will be fine." He gave her a sidelong look. "Unless you would really prefer us to go together Renivere?" Because he wouldn't object to spending more time with her. He just...didn't want to spend more time with her, with Cyril there.


((Multi-task fail)

Isamu very quietly made his way through the hallways. He avoided eye contact with anyone who was there. The boy was planning on sneaking out of the school and walking to Ichirou's mansion. He would then remain there for the duration of the weekend.

(Exit )

"I will see you then." He hesitated briefly, face going a little warm as he pulled her into a quick hug. "I'll be certain to dress warm so there are no more cold weather mishaps," he joked. "Please be careful on your way back." He gave her a last gentle squeeze before releasing her and stepping back.

"We'll be on our way then. I shall see you tomorrow, Renivere."

He nodded toward Cyril. "This way. The male dorms are quite a distance. Tell me if you need to rest on the way."
