The small town of Hamlin, a collection of farms, houses and a small church. As the carriage pulled into the town. Isabella looked out the window. It was late afternoon and it was oddly.....picturesque. Peaceful and quiet perhaps a little too quiet. "Hmm......Don't you hear it, Ceil?" She said, frowning. To Ciel's questioning glance, she said. "The sound of this town, somethings wrong about it...."
The town's magistrate was waiting for them by the town's small inn. He greeted the Earl as they climbed out of the carriage. "Welcome to Hamlin Lord Earl. I appreciate your visit, I have spoken to the inn keeper, this town is rustic....I hope that that the rooms are adequate."

Ciel could sense it as well. There was indeed something wrong with this town even though it seemed so perfect. That's what was wrong with perfection. Nothing is ever perfect or whatever it may seem. Ciel simply nodded at her and Sebastian nodded as well. He could sense it more then the other's could. Sebastian made a mental note to check things out for himself later on.
At the inn Ciel nodded at the inn keeper. Another person who seemed too perfect. He was playing the act of a perfect host with little to offer. This game was turning out to be rather fun. "I'm sure that whatever you offer me will be good enough to sleep in during my stay. It may not be my manor back at home, but it will do. Show us to our room if you please." In return Ciel was going to play the role of the unsuspecting Earl from England. The Guard Dog of the Queen.

The innkeeper nodded and showed them the what seemed like the only two rooms that he had. Apologizing all the while. The downstairs of the inn was a small pub, where a few locals sat around lanterns playing cards with a mug of ale or whatever to happened to be. Isabella smiled her thanks as they climbed the stairs to the upper level. The rooms where indeed rustic, and sparse of the furnishings, but the bed was nice, all the linen perfectly clean. It was very clean and bright. "If there is anything you wish, I will do my utmost to make your stay more comfortable." The innkeeper said, bowing a little before he left them.
Isabella walked over to the windows a pair of chairs and a table was set up in front of the largest one. "Particular...." She placed a black gloved hand on the plane of glass. "...the rooms are a little nicer then I expected from a town this small. Look at this glass, this could be a window from the manor."

Ciel was closely checking out the room and realized that it was too good for an inn of this stature and location. "Stay on your guard Isabella. I don't think anything is what it seems here, and I think we're about to find out what lies beyond the mask sure enough." Sebastian was already gone to make his own investigations. Ciel smirked glad that his pawn was two steps ahead of the rest of the pieces.

There was the sound of music playing not far from the church, it was the sound of a violin playing a lament. The music, for all it's sadness, was lovely and expressed all the love and sorrow of the human heart. A man stood among the graves, playing at the foot of a recently buried. It's headstone was plain, but for the deceased's name. 'James Macken' The man playing the violin was fairly young, with a mess of wind-tossed blond hair wearing his sunday best, which was oddly very fine and expensive considering that the Headstone was so plain. He appeared to be in his twenty's, and was the only mourner at this particular funeral. The song over, the violin player lowered his bow and turned sad blue eyes downwards.

Sebastian heard the sound of the violin playing a rather sad tune and waited until he was finished to walk up to him. "Excuse me but I need to ask you a few questions that you may know the answers to. Several children have been disappearing from their homes, and I was wondering if you noticed anything suspicious going on around here." He noticed the grave and wondered if it belonged to this man. Who else could see him here?

The man was so startled by Sebastian's approach that he jumped a little and nearly stumbled over his own feet in his haste to turn around. Clenching the violin in his arms, he looked at the other with wide blue eyes. "S-So s-sorry...I...I..." He bent down to place the violin in a case at his feet. From it's color and gloss, It appeared to be a Stradivarius violin, one of the most rare and sought after instruments in the world. The blond man picked up the case and with fumbling fingers took out a pair of thick round glasses to see with whom he was talking to. "D-D-disappearing childen y-y-you say?" He stuttered out. "A-a-are -y-y-you with Scotland....Y-y-yard?" He asked.

This guy is afraid of his own shadow... Sebastian wanted to laugh his a** off at him when he jumped like that, but he kept his demeanor and a professional mannerism. "No I'm not from Scotland Yard. I'm the butler of a young lord that's staying here in the village, and he works for the queen. He's in a different league then the English police force. So have you seen anything, or have any information that may be of help?" He also noticed the violin and had one for Ciel as well in case he ever mastered his lessons.

"N-no....Not-not really." He answered. He took a slow deep breath. "I-I heard a-about the miss-missing children in the n-news p-p-papers. So sad." He said, "T-the c-children here h-had g-g-g.....Gone missing a-as well." He looked at the grave. "I-I-I f-found out when.....I-I came to s-s-see my f-f-father one l-last time."

Sebastian took a closer look at the grave then back at him before he smirked. "You're not by any chance a famous violinist...are you James Peters?" If he was then maybe he should bring him back to their little inn. Isabella would be thrilled to meet him in person.

James made a vague squeaking sound, looking a little horrified. But the expression melted away into a nervous smile. "Y-yes.....I-I am he." He pushed his thick glasses up. " I-I-...I n-normally...D-d-don't give out m-m-my real name."

"Well that's a smart thing to do. You'd have fan girls all over you. How would you like to come back to the inn with me and meet one of your biggest fans? Plus my young lord is learning how to play as well, and maybe you can give him a few pointers. He brought his along as well. How about it?"

James took his time thinking about it, shuffling his feet a little before looking up with a sort of a half hearted smile on his face. "I would like to meet them....."
With that, They walked back to the inn. As James was following Sebastian through the pub section. One of the locals waved to James. "Jim, Sorry to hear about yer father. You know we hold no grudge against him." James returned the wave, which was a big mistake as he tripped on a chair leg and stumbled into Sebastian's back. "S-So Sorry!" He wailed as held the violin case to himself. His face went red with embarrassment and as he was apologizing to Sebastian, noticed that his glasses where missing. "Oh no! My glasses!" James got down on his knees, blindly groping the floor for his missing glasses.

Again Sebastian had the fight the urge to laugh at him, and he began to remind him of a certain red head back at home who was the most clumsy girl he had ever met. He sighed before handing him his glasses and led him to their room before he opened the door. "Well Bochan I didn't find anything out, but I did find this guy at his father's grave."

Isabella looked up as the door opened. She and Ciel where on the bed, apparently making out when Sebastian interrupted them. The girl pulled off of the boy and pulled her top closed. "Sebastian!!"
