I think Thanksgiving was the one day Americans didn't murder any native Americans...But with those pilgrims, you never know.
Do the Inuits still own most of their land?

Minty, I don't know if you're canadian, American, or a Kiwi, I love you for saying Inuit instead of Eskimo. I want to chop to pieces people who say Eskimo. It's worst than saying ****** to a black person imo D<
And yes, the inuits still own most of their lands. Probably only because no one wanted them (until we realized that there was a bunch of petrol there). Nunavut was created in 19-something (totally forgot the date [/badcanadian]) so they'd even have their own official territories.

6 chara is a good amount until you've been here a bit longer :p
But like I said, feel free of making 2 mores right now xD
There's not really a limit on the total amount of character (me, serend and Loli have more than 15 each, after all), but I like to see them appearing progressively, rather than all int he first month you join? Hope you understand xD
But again, go ahead and make one or two more xD

It never really crossed my mind to call them Eskimo; because I was never really sure who is classified as an 'Eskimo'... I've read a journal about a man who went way up north, it was pretty interesting, just curious if they are actually the owners of the land. It's good they do; better than the government owning them.
I have no idea how you guys handle 15 + characters...

Well, the government kind of owns it, but they (Inuits) are the one running it and stuff and the government don't really do anything and just let them do as they want?
Eskimo literally means "Raw Meat Eater" it's pretty offensive. It's just a derogatory term for all the Nordic tribes like that.
As for the characters.... they just pile up? Dx
being active and all over the place is the key to handle them? =D

Yes, you're right; of course the government owns it. xP But the Inuits being able to control and have a voice in the government is the good thing.
It's probably loads better than the Indian Reservations in the US.
I had no clue that's what Eskimo meant. That's horrible D:

I usually play and old woman, but in time line of my character, shes like 98. Well, was. She died at 94 from a stroke D<
And. We also have native American reserves? =D
We threat them like s**t =D
When we colonized canada, we druged/drunk them up, made them give everythign away and shoved them in those reservations where they've been since then =D
They're like our little dirty secret that we dont like to talk about because secret we're douches and wish they'd just disapear, so we comfort ourselves by being nice to inuits.
Canadian can be hypocrites too D<

That's sad...she should be revived, as a zombie!
And yes, I'm working on getting this old man done, I've decided.
The US treats the reservations like untouchables too. Except for the casinos. Those are the insanely rich native americans.
I always knew the Canadians weren't so innocent...Maybe the US should build a northern wall too.
