Ipo stared. A cavern? He'd never heard of a cavern, was it like a cave? Oh to be uneducated, but it sounded similar, cavern, cave. They were probably the same thing! Except one was filled with water. "And we get to see a unicorn lake!"

Elliot noticed the lack of energy in the sentence and looked at Ipo. He was still smiling like an idiot, but that didn't sound like an idiot. "Are you positive they'd let us visit? I'd truly hate to overstep and overstay my welcome by doing something none are happy with."

"Is it pretty? Winter in Nalenyr is pretty too! The whole landscape is covered with snow and it's beautiful! Oh now I really want to go! Let's go now!"

Winter, that was correct. Winter had started, and despite not being able to tell the season in Falia, it was no doubt ready to become harsh back up in the mountains. The maids had packed for everyone, but Tsume and Nix would need clothes. There was Harsgreaves, a border town in Reta, or should they risk the cold and go to Loslith again for winter wear? Elliot didn't think Nalenyr and Falia winters were one in the same.

"But I wanna know, you're so mean Nix. Hey Tsume! Hey Tsume! Will you go swimming with us?" He asked, scoting closer to the furry wolf and nuzzled up against him, smiling. "You're so warm." Ipo was almost going to give the other a belly rub, but he treasured his hands and Tsume's teeth were probably sharp.

(( My mind is developing ideas. SO MANY IDEAS! but mostly for Nalenyr. ))

H-he was so big... Ipo felt the fight or flight instinct flare and he tensed, ready to run away. Instead Tsume walked away leaving the hare relieved but confused. "Tsume!" he called, standing up and following. He stayed a few feet behind, ears raised listening for signs of communication. He just wanted to be friends, it was hard for anyone to not be his friend, so why was Tsume so closed off? "Is it because my prince was mated with yours? You shouldn't hate me for his decisions." he pointed out with a small frown.

"Two colored?" Elliot asked, smiling at Leo's red face. "Those meetings must have been dreadful if you hadn't attended.' A joke, Elliot had more then once asked to be dismissed from his father's side as he dealt in politics with others. It was too boring and not for him. At the mention of beings mates Elliot felt his face heat up. He really had no comment for that. Just like that hey were mates, mates! Sure homosexuality wasn't bad here and welcomed with open arms, it was embarrassing.

Wait, what? "This is all to sudden." Elliot said softly, looking at them. "Well it would be best not to keep them should we be expecting an invitation." He responded. Best to get it over with along with any embarrassment, questions and celebrations. "They will be extremely excited to see you."

"I can't be annoying, I have the energy for me and my brother! twice the energy! He's shy so I normally have to talk for him." Ipo explained, keeping pace behind the familiar. "Oh! You're so thoughtful! But would they really think that Leo would ditch? He's so nice." Ipo gave a small hum of thought. Maybe they thought that Leo would be corrupted by the prince? "Are you nervous, Tsume?" He didn't complete the actual question, there was plenty for him to be nervous about. Elliot, the trip to Nalenyr, how Leo was staying so sane.

Elliot gave a smile. "Well it's hard to tell, we'll just have to wait a little longer and see if she does indeed show signs of insanity." And stretched, looking up at the canopy of leaves. This was only making him miss his sisters, so instead he stood to his feet, holdings out hands for them both. "Come on, let's not keep the unicorns waiting."

Ipo frowned in understanding, ears lowering somewhat. "It's the only way he stays sane." Ipo repeated. If Tsume understood that, he should be sad, not angry. "I heard the prince smiled a lot more with your prince around, you know. My prince used to be closed and he's opening up. A lot of the things I've done now, if done previously like my brother had, I'd be gone from the castle." Then Tsume told him to be quiet and he nodded. Quiet as a mouse, he could do that. What did the chairman look like? Hm, he wish he knew his way around the forest like all the other Falians, he would need help getting back as well.

"I would be more then happy to help. I'm quite good at it, what with having three sisters. Martha knows the art of flower arranging without ever watching others do it." He said. "It embarrasses her, it's not a boyish activity." And helped them both up, following Nix. This was nerve-wracking but exciting all at once. Flowers as a present, which ones should he pick? Coming upon the field silver eyes widened. "My mother's gardens don't compare whatsoever." He murmured, stepping forward and looking around. It was so incredibly colorful. Elliot bent down and picked a flower. "The day before our week is over, may I come back to pick bouquets for my sisters?' He asked, unsure what other flowers he should pick for the unicorn clan.

Ipo stayed silent, leaning to look at the man hiding behind the door, but when the red eye turned to him he froze. He knew that sort of look, but with a smile he bowed in greeting. A hawk, Tsume had taken him to see a hawk! That man didn't even tell him or Ipo wouldn't have followed! He could have been killed! "Well every ruler has a quirk I suppose." And turned to follow after Tsume. "Has life been terrible these past six years?" What made them terrible? Had they lived without Leo that long? Leo didn't look to be much older then Ipo himself.

"That's amazing." He looked t where he had picked, an identical flower takings its predecessors place. "Truly amazing." And carefully picked the blossoms that were native to his homeland then in Falia. The Edelweiss flower, the Yarrow flower which was similar to baby's breath, monkshood and other such small flowers which bloomed in clusters. Mountain flowers hardly bloomed larger then the palm of a hand, but there was beauty in the clusters if you knew how to organize them. He had to make sure he didn't get an over abundance of blue flowers, looking for the bright columbine flowers amid the rainbow field.

It took a while, the prince getting distracted and looking at other flowers which were in more abundance then his homeland's, but after searching, and getting more thorns then he would like in his fingers, he had a bouquet. "Well, it is nice to know these flowers grow in quite a few habitats. I was surprised you had Edelweiss, they normally grow higher in the mountains due to being made for cold climates, and you had irises, common to the lower parts of the mountains." He smiled, obviously quite pleased with the outcome. "Nalenyr's version of a greeting bouquet, I suppose. I've never arranged flowers, but I tried. Martha makes you feel like a fool if it looks 'dumb' and 'ugly'." And she's fixed his bouquets on more then one occasion. At one point in time she even hit him with his own bouquet, and then blamed him for the ruined flowers.

The entire family was gone, majority of the council, how had they survived? He knew from his previous Kaspian masters that Falia was indeed peaceful, it took great strength to retain from war and instead rebuild. That was... admirable. And by the one who loved Leo's mother. "Wait, but he's not Leo's father. Two men loved one woman, I wonder how well that turned out." With Elliot it was two women loving one man, and one woman died, then the two men were nearly murdered. "Thank goodness Falia is a peaceful nation." He murmured, looking up at Tsume when the other looked down. "It was frightening!" He exclaimed suddenly. "It's like I was back under the scrutinizing eye of Genesis or Leviticus! I did so badly want to run!" he wailed. "But changing that, I preferred being called 'Bunny' over 'Hairy.'" he said with a frown. "Poodle. Mutt. Son of a b***h? That sounds funny, weird, but funny." he continued to muse on nicknames. "Sniffer! LuLu! Fido! Oh I like Fido."

"You're not saying that because I'm your friend, are you?" Elliot asked, looking back at the bouquet. It was always the thought that counted, but sometimes the appearance counted as well. "Every flower in the world? A hobby and collector indeed." he said with a chuckle. "Well I find it a very lovely collection. I feel as though I am once again in the season of spring." And looked at Nix making her crown.

Ipo curled up again as he was lifted, giving a nervous smile. "Quite often, actually. I uh, work in the kitchens on occassion, saw a boar on one." He swallowed the nonexistent saliva in his throat. "Not sure I'd taste good, though."

Elliot raised an eyebrow, wondering if Nix had read his mind but thought against it. His words made his thoughts obvious enough. When had he become so open, god he was an emotional wreck right now. "My bouquet is ready ,I merely have nothing to tie it with." was his response to Nix's order. When the newcomer walked up he lifted his head. So she was the leader, he felt childish for some odd reason, but bowed back nonetheless. He was done, but where was Ipo? Looking where Nix's gaze was he saw them. "Leo, could you possibly have Tsume drop Ipo? We need Ipo to get back."
