  "Squall, you're the one who gives me the most comfort. Comfort and happiness... And annoyance and disappointment, too!" "You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"   Normally, when she wasn't expecting a sudden voice to just speak without her knowing anyone was near by, she would have jumped a bit in fright, but it was his voice. The one voice that could never frighten her even in such a surprising manor. Instead, it made her heart flutter with excitement. Rinoa was up in a flash, and before Squall could continue anymore of his worried words, he would feel her nearly jump at him into a hug, her arms wrapped around him so she was just barley off the ground. "SQUALL! " Yep, she was happy. As if that was hard to tell. The sad part was, they were only separated for that half-hour she was gone since she left the airship! The way she reacted, one would think they hadn't seen each other for days, or weeks! Finally, after a moment, she let go, letting her boots lightly touch the ground. Her hands slipped into his own now as the young sorceress gazed into his pretty blue eyes.."Or...we can stay here together and...be defense to the city on our own...together...alone! " It almost seemed as if this was a trap for Squall, so she would have some alone time with her love! Of course, it wasn't, but it sure did seem that way.
 
    "I don't want the future.. I just want the present to stand still.. So I can stay here with you." ((ooc: ))

Squall Leonhart "I'll be here. If you come here, you'll find me.
I promise."   As the energetic Sorceress jumped at Squall, he grunted a little, putting his arms around her too, mostly to catch her than anything else. But of course, it ended in a hug. None of this really surprised the SeeD leader, it was typical Rinoa. "Rinoa, we've been apart for thirty minutes." He said blankly, though his arms tightened around her slightly in an embrace. Just because of the cute strangeness of Rinoa, it didn't mean Squall didn't enjoy this. He loved how she acted, and didn't want her to ever change. Ever. As she let go, he did as well, but held her hands just the same as she did him. "..." She was just so giddy about this, wasn't she? "This some sort of trap? What exactly are you planning to do to me?" That could be misconstrued, especially considering they were together and... It was Rinoa. The one always full of energy. "Or we could go into the city where I wouldn't have to worry about you getting hurt. Yeah, that sounds good." He just had to ruin her fun. Of course, if she refused he'd have little choice but to stay here with her. Not that he'd complain.  (( OoC: ))

Rinoa's happiness would only increase as she felt his arms around her, oh, how she could just melt away in this embrace. She didn't want to let go, if only it were possible to just stay like this, so close, so safe in her lovers arms. "But..that's an eternity to me..! I can't stay away from my Squall for very long..I miss you to much! " As she said this, and they held each others hands, he would suddenly feel a soft tug, as she sat down, attempting to pull him down to sit with her. "A trap..? What kind of trap? Ohhhh....Has Irvine been getting into your head? Want me to go yell at him? Him and those naughty magazines..! " Had she gotten him to sit down with her, she would quickly 'trap' him, by suddenly slipping right on over to sit into his lap, in an oh so familiar way, like one romantic night in the Ragnarok so long ago. Snuggling him close as she set her arms around his neck, Rinoa smiled up at him.. "We can stay like this, just for a while...can't we? I'm safe, so long as I'm with you.." The young sorceress's tone went from that giddy, cheerfulness, to a gentle softness as she spoke those last words..
"I don't want the future.. I just want the present to stand still.. So I can stay here with you." ((ooc: ))

I promise." Squall could've expected such words from Rinoa. It seemed just something she'd say. He shifted slightly uncomfortably. It wasn't that he wasn't happy being with her, he was overjoyed, but, unlike her it was hard for him to express his feelings. "...Whatever." Was all he could really say in response. It wasn't meant to sound insincere, and he didn't mean it that way, but it may sound like that to anyone who didn't know him. Luckily Rinoa knew him well. ".....Right." He said in response to her next comment about Irvine, but did sit with a quiet grumble there next to her. Then, as she sat in his lap, he could've guessed that was coming as well. He slowly put his arms around her, putting one hand under her knees to lift her legs just slightly, while placing his other around her upper body. He wasn't lifting her, but he sort of held her there like that, in a form of an embrace as he leaned his head against hers tenderly, in a loving embrace... "..." (The silence... Maybe it's not so bad... Rinoa... Stay with me.) His grip on her tightened just slightly. (Stay with me... Forever...) (( OoC: ))

With each small word he used, Rinoa knew there was more behind it. Words he was unable to say allowed. This was Squalls way, which Rinoa had long ago accepted. Did she wish he would speak more? Maybe a little, but she wouldn't force him to or make him uncomfortable like that. She, as well as Quistis seemed to enjoy his 'whatever's' at times too, as they would often say it too just as he was about to say it. As they now sat in there loving little embrace, Rinoa hugged him a little tighter, closing her eyes as she took in the peaceful silence. Even she, the most cheerful and energetic one loved this particular kind of silence, in Squalls arms, it couldn't be any better then that...

 In a far off location from the current love birds that were Squall and Rinoa, a young man had been walking away from the tear, just entering this world not to long ago after the tragic demise of his world and kingdom to a darkness. The young man took a stop on a hill and gazed off to the rolling green hills, his eye sight was very good and he could see even that of a small bird fifty yards off stealing a worm off from it's safe haven. He sighed as he knelt down and touched the ground below him and began to turn it into crystal, a smirk rose on his face as the grass below him reflected the suns rays in a rainbow like refraction. He rose up after plucking a rose from the ground that was freshly crystalized and smiled "ah the beauty that is crystal, how I miss my kingdom and my throne" he said out loud.

The young man chuckled at the womens words, as if anything in this green world could interest him, although when he looked down towards her, a smile graced his features. "As fare as I can see, no there is nothing in particular out there, but here before me is a maiden most deserving of my interest. I am Kirin, and pray tell you are you?" he asked the women as she looked up to him, he looked into his hand and then walked up to her and handed her the freshly crystalline rose "For a Maiden of amazing beauty I offer you this crystal rose"

Kirin smiled towards the red head and chuckled "Oh but you are special my dear, a women of your beauty is know to have been worshiped in the past" he then held her hand and smirked "even in this a strange new world to me I'm sure a beautiful women such as your self should gain the attention of many a man" he then looked to the rose and smiled "In my world, I was a king of a mighty empire, an empire defended by soldiers just like this rose, made of nothing but crystal, even my castle was made of of crystal, you at my side would make my kingdom that much more of a site" he said to her

Kirin Chuckled at the women's statement them stop him, a bold claim, and a really misguided one at that "well conquering this world is a goal I have set in my mind, though beating this Idgit as you would call me would be a challenge, tell me girl do you know of the tales of king Midus, the king who was cursed in greek mythology? the king that what ever he touched turned to gold? think of me in the same fashion except...everything I touch turns to crystal, see these gloves I wear?" he then knelt down and touched the ground and nothing happened, then he removed the glove on his right hand and a large amount of the ground began to crytalize. He then broke a large chunk of the grass like crystals and stood up and chuckled "Also...I can do this with crystal particles" he then crushed the crystals in his hands then began to drop them, though when they landed they began to form into human like shapes, they grew to at least six feet in height and in their hands they grew crystal swords, at least twenty or so formed beside him "Deal with her, I'm going to find a sutible place to call my castle" and like that he began to walk away

Lucian Strife
Whatsa life but lies...
when everything you knew was a lie....
you have family...you have a father....mother...
even siblings....how do you just get use to that?
 Meanwhile out on a dirt rode on the plains, Lucian and the young women from serenity Suki drove towards a new city to stay, Lucian's mind full of thought as he sped his motorcycle faster down the rode. Suki sighed he she was holding onto Lucian, she lowered her body onto his back as she put her head near his ear and began to talk to him "you know Lucian I think it's time you talked to your dad again, you made up with your mom...but I can feel you hold much hate for your father, that's not good, family is important in this world" she said to him Lucian sighed after she spoke as much as he didn't want to talk to his dad Suki was right about family, though he still cared little for his father cloud..his mind then drifted off to when he talked to one of his sisters and when she told him not to hate cloud. It was an easy thing for her to say as she didn't but Lucian did, he felt abandoned by his father and it was going to take a lot of things to fix the way he thought about him "Suki, I don't think now is the time for me and him to make up, it's not like We're going to run into him anytime soon, he's off galabanting with some strange girl last I heard, and what about my mother, I heard at one time they were in love but no look at him now....I don't know Suki...I just don't know" Suki sighed as she held onto lucian...not many people knew that she was his girlfriend since well Lucian wasn't that open to people and he generally avoid people he knew for some reason, she knew the reason and she tried over and over again to help him but he was just to stubborn to get help, he always said he'd take care of it him self and that he didn't want anyone getting hurt because of him. "you know one of these days your dad's going to be a grandfather to your kids" and with those words lucian sped his bike up again trying to ignore that comment as he and suki had gotten close to Marvel were unknown to them Cloud was Don't hold me up now

 "The Crimson Dagger, The Red Touch" ------------------------ "Now, which way did they say to go?" Kino asked himself, trying to jog his memory. He had been wandering about this green hell for hours now; some nice people a ways back had offered him some directions into Midgar, but that seemed like forever ago and the information had nearly slipped away. Kino's robe hung loosely around, seeming to only serve the purpose to cover his skin from sight and not much more. But damn, was it comfortable. "Oh, maybe this way.." Looking to the sky, Kino could see a much foggier complexion in the air to his left; usual signs of contamination and a likely sign of civilized life. Shifting his body, and picking up his pace as he reassured himself, Kino headed toward Midgar. ------------------------  "One with the sword, and one with his mako."
