Turning last to Carmen, she might of given her a bit more of a look over, only due to her very..phoenix-like appearance. How did she look so much cooler then her? She was not about to admit she looked cool herself, even in a time like this, she was quite jealous! "...Sorry, Carmen..everyone, I'm not up for this. I can't just..choose one, and pretend I don't care about anyone else. I can't do that! " Despite how Phoenix liked to act, like she didn't care about anything, hiding behind that tough girl act she put up, all that would come undone, as they all would see the softer side of Phoenix, the side that couldn't choose at the risk of hurting others! "..I'd rather be alone if it means I'm going to have to hurt important people to me. "

Carmen As Phoenix's stress levels continued to climb, Carmen let out a small, inquisitive noise. Raising her arm, she subtly waved it...
And then, everything stopped.
Phoenix would notice every single living soul around them had been frozen solid in place. It was as if their current words and actions had been in a video and which had been paused all around them. Looking up, even birds were completely still mid-flap. Glancing to the sea, the waves had paused. Nothing around them--not even the gods Nero or Cosmos--were moving, except Phoenix and Carmen. "Take a deep breath, Princess Phoenix." She said, beckoning her. "Come with me."
Had she obeyed, she'd lead her to Alisa's little tiki bar a short walk away, motioning for her to sit down at the bar. Moving behind the bar, she lifted one of the cups, which became unfrozen the moment she touched it. Planting it on the bar, she closed her hands together, before opening them, and from a flourish of magic, a softly-colored liquid would emerge and pour into the cup. After, she slid it to her. "A custom blend. I've worked many jobs in the Forest Kingdom to make ends meet. I always had to provide for Miya, and I never wanted her to have to work. She deserved..." She paused, realizing she was rambling a bit. "...Ahem... It has a relatively sweet taste, and it should help you calm your nerves and stress." As Phoenix would drink if she chose to, Carmen leaned slightly against the bar, speaking. "Now... we have all the time in the world together, Phoenix. Work through your emotions with me. These three men... Ephraim, Aeon, Nero... Tell me about them. Tell me your feelings for them. Tell me what they mean to you. Ignore that stupid goddess. I'll give her a thorough spanking if she tries to hurt you." She grinned a rather smug grin. "Orpheus beat her, and I beat Orpheus. She'd be begging in minutes." She certainly wasn't going to let her hurt Phoenix, that was for sure! (( OOC: ))

Finally turning away, she took another moment to observe the frozen waves, birds in the sky not moving, tree's still as ever, it was quite strange to see something like this. Turning now to Carmen, she gave one last glance back to Ephraim, Nero and Aeon, before slowly following behind.
"..Um...I'm not really.--" She paused, observing everything she was doing. Her powers were....very.. unique. So unique that she couldn't be rude and deny her strange magical and rather mysterious little drink."..Did you not always have these powers of yours? ...It seems to me, all you needed to do was want something and have it right there. " It was strange, how did she ever struggle, and why did she struggle so much? While she didn't pay a lot of attention to the way the Forest Kingdom was ruled, she couldn't help but think Althesa was pretty harsh on her people if they had to struggle so much to survive. As her attention was drawn back to the mysterious liquid, she took hold of the cup. "..What is it? " She never had a drink made of magic, of course she was going to be a little curious about what she might be drinking! "...I think i'd rather have something to erase memories all together..that might make things a little less painful. " Phoenix glanced down into the glass, where a long silence over-took her. "..They're all special and important to me..Nero, yes..We did have a long, endless history together. When the memories of him all rushed back to me that day, and he lost his life in reveling the truth to us, I never thought I would be able to recover from that feeling.I stayed away from everyone for the longest time, I became distant and couldn't get him off my mind, or what happened to him. Honestly, It took a long time to finally be able to move on, and I was able to do that because of Ephraim. Everytime I was with him, he made me feel alive again. He always treated me with such respect, and kindness..When i'm around him, he seems..different. Even happier himself. I always enjoyed his company, even after everything, he was the one I didn't mind being with. " She finally admitted softly. " Aeon, we have been friends since we were young, and I do feel he is more open, and happier with me. But I don't see him as often, he has always been the distant one until lately..I really want to be there for him, and if I deny him..I'm a lot more worried what he might do to himself, or what he will become. Aeon deserves a happier life then what has been given to him, and I could be the only one to give that to him.." She paused again before continuing.. "And Nero..I loved him for endless amounts of cycles, he's always been in my life, he may not be the most out going one in the world, but I still loved him even so. Before he returned our memories, though...I rarely ever seen him, and when I did it was only as friends..he didn't seem to want me to remember him, or be close..So why all of a sudden now? All because of jealousy? ..I don't get it...and I don't know what to do about any of this...ugh..I just want to disappear for a while..I think it would be better if everyone just forgot me, then, at least no one would be hurt..right?"

Carmen"Of course. Everything I do is impressive." Carmen said with a small smirk, with no shortage of confidence, before leading her away. As cocky as she may sound, she certainly seemed to have a good reason for it!
"Did you always have your skill with a weapon? Or your physical strength?" She replied calmly at her inquiry. "No, of course not. I have a tremendous amount of natural talent, but that alone couldn't get me to where I am. A tremendous amount of diligent effort also couldn't. Both in tandem--that's what's made me who I am. Talent and effort in a perfect blend..." She paused for a moment. "...I can weave reality in any way I desire. It's not an ability that came easily, but it's something I can do relatively easily now. I could turn the sea surrounding us to lava, and it wouldn't be an illusion. I could change the sky to pink. I could make the sun into ice. I use magic to project my will onto the world, and it bends and molds to my desire. It's not a dissimilar concept to how Alisa molds arrows, but on a much grander scale. It goes without saying it requires far more magical power, but it also requires much, much more precise control as well. Not even Queen Althesa, the Sage King of the Frozen Kingdom, or the God of Wisdom have the magical power and control I have." It sometimes made her question if talent and effort were really all she had going for her. But her lineage was a mystery to her, because she and Miya had been alone all their lives. If she was the child of some being of all-powerful magic abilities, or the reincarnation of some God of Magic, she didn't know. All she knew was that she was Carmen. That's all she ever had. But she had rambled enough about herself, considering she had done this to talk about her! "Are you worried I'm poisoning you?" If she wanted Phoenix dead, she could do it far easier than that! "Various herbs and berries blended and mixed with fermented cocoa beans. It's soothing, refreshing, strengthening, and tasty. The total package, just like the one who made it." She said proudly, practically beaming as she did. She did so love to brag! And not just because she was smug, but also because people rarely took enough of an interest to even speak to her. She was rather hated in her own kingdom, so she rarely got to talk about all the effort she put in or show off her skills aside from when she dueled Alisa. Which was one of the main sources for people hating her, so... yeah.
She quieted down and her face softened into a more serious, empathetic look as she listened to her talk about the three men. She listened attentively until she finished her explanation for the moment, before she contemplated what she said silently for several moments. Then, she spoke. "...You should understand that what Aeon chooses to do or not do is not your responsibility. I understand you care for him. But if you don't love him, you cannot get in a relationship with him just to try to keep him from doing something drastic. Your mental health is just as important as his. Your wants, your desires--they matter. If you don't love him, the most you can offer is to be his friend. As for Ephraim and Nero... I can see potential in your relationship with Ephraim. It does sound like you two care for each other a lot. But couldn't a close friendship make you both feel just as happy around each other? ...Or at least, almost so." She thought for a few more moments. "What you had with Nero before... only you know if you still feel that way for him. Even if you two were together for years, that was lifetimes ago. Things aren't the same. It would be understandable if things weren't the same for you and him, too." She let out a soft sigh. "Phoenix... you can't just take the hurt all for yourself so they won't be hurt. What about your feelings? Don't you think they care about that? I mean, if they didn't, they don't deserve you." She paused a moment, leaning against the back counter slightly and glancing up at the motionless clouds, thinking. "...Although, there is a way." She said uncertainly, looking back to her. "Of course... who are you talking to? I could... remove their romantic attachment for you. From their perspective, your relationship would be mostly the same, just without romantic feeling. I don't think it's necessarily the best way to handle it, but it is possible..." She paused a moment longer. "But love isn't as simple to weave as plants, or trees, or water. Emotions are complex. Briefly bending them is one thing, but removing them? They can't just vanish, exactly. Not without a catalyst. If I remove their romantic feelings for you, those feelings would have to go somewhere. And I doubt you want three random people pining over you, and it would be irresponsible of me to force that onto unwilling participants. Not that I haven't done things like that before, heh... but not with love. So. I would take the emotions into me. The emotions would mold into my own, and I would... really, really like you. Enough "like" for three people. I realize that may be uncomfortable for you, but I could just... deal with it. It's not like I won't remember this conversation. And it's not like I can't handle it anyway." She let out a short breath, nodding. "So, it's up to you. If you don't want to make a choice, if you don't want them to pine over you, I can make that happen. Or... we can work through your feelings, and you can figure out if you do love one of them."(( OOC: ))

Even though Unisha had become occupied before she could "help" him with his relaxation--or more accurately, her lips had become occupied with Exemplar Metatron's--Ephraim still recognized it as good advice. Relaxation was important to treat fatigue and remain in top shape, and that was something he often found himself neglecting since coming to this world. Even back in Magvel, it was something he tended to overlook. It just seemed hard for him to sit still and relax when he could be honing his body or his skill, but both of those would only improve more with proper care. So, for now, he would go for a walk into the island's beautiful forest. He didn't know where everyone else on the island was, so perhaps he'd run across some of them. For now, though, the peace was enjoyable.
After a short walk, he came across a small body of water. The steam rising off it was curious--it was quite rare to happen across a naturally occurring hot springs, especially on an island of all places. But kneeling down and testing the water revealed it to be exactly that--unless Phoenix or Carmen were hiding under that water and warming it, which was pretty unlikely!--it was indeed a natural hot spring. Just dipping his bare hand after taking off his glove brought relaxation, and washed away much of the tension in his hand. He let out a small, relaxed breath. He supposed if he needed to find a way to relax, he couldn't do much better than this. Glancing around to do his best to ensure there were no nearby Troubadours or the like to be offended by a bare shoulder, he went on to disrobe.
Letting out a relaxed sigh as he settled into the hot spring, he leaned back slightly, closing his eyes for the moment as the feeling washed over him. Perhaps his body really did need this! His toned torso and arms in particular felt elated to be in such a relaxing setting. From the hot water to the steam, he wondered if it was possible to feel any more relaxed than this. Perhaps he should obey Unisha more often! (( OOC: ))

   Little did poor ol' Ephie know, that he was being followed! It seemed everyone who met Miya automatically thought she was some kind of failure, a weakling and unable to do anything right! But that wasn't so, sure she wasn't some super powerful amazing person like her sister, but she could get around decently on her own. Midgar had certainly taught her how to survive, before that she was pretty terrible. Self taught, and with enough little monsters around the city to provide her some GIL, she was able to get the things she needed quickly, though there were times she would fail, of course. And have to leave everything behind to escape, but hey, no one was perfect! From behind the tree's, a little back so as to ensure for sure, she wouldn't be spotted, she tilted her head curiously, watching as he seemed to observe the lovely hot spring she didn't know was even there, til now. "...Oh....is he..? " She blinked, a tinge of red creeping it's way to her cheeks. He was clearly checking the area out, looking for anyone that might be near. Lucky for her, she was pretty darn great at hiding, and she wasn't spotted. "..Oh.! " He began to slowly disrobe, and Miya's eyes just about lit up in shock, while her fluffy pink tail swished behind her, giving away that little hint that she was enjoying this a little to much! "Ah, Miya, you're so bad...You shouldn't be watching this! " It wasn't as if he was naked, but that toned torso, those strong arms,even the few scars of battle forever a reminder of his battles, was really working Miya's curious eyes. "Gods, he's so cute..so handsome..! " She said to herself with those silly, love struck eyes as she continued to watch him just....relax there in the warm waters.
"I wonder if he wants to be alone? .............." She thought for a moment, a long, oh-so-thought moment.." ..No way, how can he really want to be alone like that? I bet he's just hoping for some girl to come join him..Hee,hee..." Oh, gods. Ephraim was in for a real treat! "Mm! That's it. I'll be the one to keep him much needed company..The very best, and cutest company on the island! Meeeeeeeeee!! " Ephraim may of heard sudden rustling in the tree's suddenly, but, it was also easy to pass off, there was a lot of wild life running around, birds, squirrels. By the time the realization would come to him, his unfortunate doom was imminent.He would be looking it right..in the face, right there...in the water. With him. But not just with him in the water, latched right there onto him, arms around his shoulders and legs a bit wrapped around him, so she was pretty much sitting over him as he sat in the water himself. "Why, hello there..........You're in luck! I seen you here, all alone! So I felt sad to see you just sitting here like that. I thought you needed the best company ever, so, well, here I am! My herooo! " As if they were the closest thing on the planet, she completely snuggled her head against him affectionately! She would always call him that, as far as she saw it, he was her hero, if not for him.........and Cissnei, who she clearly didn't remember, she would still be fighting to survive Midgar!

Not only did Alisa get to admire Ephraim's well-toned body a bit, but she also got to see Miya being a bit perverted. Ah, what a girl of fine taste. She was so much better than that sister of hers! Alisa just watched with a sort of smug, knowing smile, as Miya seemed so fixated she didn't even notice her. Taking a small, silent step forward, Alisa opened her mouth, and... "Y-you're so hot, can I join you?!" An alarmingly similar voice to Miya's own came out of her mouth, and as she said that, she shoved Miya out of her hiding spot! Well, not much getting out of that one, was there? Alisa didn't get the opportunity to use her talent for mimicking voices very often, butt his was one great instance of use!"Wha?" Ephraim turned suddenly as he heard the voice, and he saw the familiar pink-hired catgirl "step" out in view. "...Ah, it's you." That little comment about him being "hot" must have been a joke then, if it was her. Still, it was rather strange to hear! He had certainly never been told something like that. "...Er... I suppose... it's fine?" A little strange... but wouldn't it be rude to turn her down? He was starting to grow a little awkward and self-conscious.Hee-hee... Miya would hear into her mind, as the devious elf had stolen her previous hiding spot! What are you waiting for, Miya? He gave you a show, so return the favor! Strip~ One had to wonder how Alisa had so many friends when she loved tormenting them all!(( OOC: ))

So he did tend to inspect his surroundings when he heard subtle noises. After further consideration though, he supposed the likelihood anything dangerous was here was rather low, and he needed to relax.
Though that relaxation was soon to be shattered utterly, beneath the heel of the most annoying woman on the planet. Of course, it had to be her, didn't it! He honestly had to admire her ambushing ability. He was in her clutches before he even knew what was happening! "Agh... Yes, the silence was rather nice while it lasted, but now that you're... here..." He slooowly realized what position she had decided would be appropriate. His face slowly started to redden, and his heart started to pick up. This... was dangerous. "W-wait... you need to..." Gods, why did someone so annoying have to look so cute? It was a little hard to focus, between her position and her cute face beaming at him! Any warnings or demands he could've given her came far too late, as his body reacted to the woman straddling it in the most natural way possible. And... that reaction was far too large not to notice. His face reddened further, and he couldn't exactly find the words. Gods, now he was feeling incredibly stressed. He was trying to relax, yet this girl constantly did the exact opposite! Just this time in a much different way!(( OOC: ))

'Hee,hee. Now that i'm here...you won't have to suffer from that painful silence! " Clearly, he was enjoying the silence, but what Miya heard was the complete opposite, she had a habit of hearing what she wanted to hear sometimes! She did so get away with a lot with that little trick of hers. And much like words, she was oblivious to the position she had chosen to be in as she got into the springs, straddling his body in such a way, it didn't really cross her mind as terribly bad, or dangerous, she just ..liked to sit this way for the moment, it seemed the best way to keep him there, and not let him escape! Her scattered little brain was quite the handful, she wasn't even wearing swim material, but rather, her entire every-day wear! Shoes included. She would never of been able to surprise him if she took the time to take off her shoes and a few layers, so this was how it was! Miya, fully clothed, though that skirt of hers didn't provide much layer to certain things.It seemed far to long, that her mind had made those connections however, and her face instantly lit up as she ....felt..things. "Oohh...someone's really happy to see me..Ehehehe....You're lance is poking me.." She giggled innocently, despite her blushing face. She certainly didn't get TO embarrassed, did she? To say something like that so openly to him.

"E-Ephraim!?! " The oh-so-familiar voice of a not so happy Pegasus Knight would catch both their attention! It was a rather good thing for Miya she wasn't some Devine being like a Serenitian, to hear those whispered, lewd words coming from the innocent looking feline woman's mouth! That would be the end of her,if she had heard it! Ephraim's sought after peacefulness was certainly not happening today, was it? It seemed everything he wanted, never happened! "You.....should remove yourself from him..Please get off! " If she had any hope to keep her off him, there was only one thing to do, something so very popular on this island... "...I..challenge you to a duel, just you and me! " It was rather funny, she didn't even know if she could fight, she really didn't have the appearance of some skilled warrior! "Whoever wins, gets to spend time with Ephraim!" For once, it was the other way around. Someone was now challenging for Ephraim's company! "I won't lose!" "Ohh...really?! Okay, then..I hope you don't cry to much when you lose! " Miya said with a innocent, cute little giggle as she finally removed herself from her Ephraim chair, slipping out of the hot spring. She was so confidant she would win, yet, she didn't think of the little factors against her, like, her fluffy pink tail was heavy and soaked, her clothes too. This was going to weigh her down a bit, and slow her down. It was her speed that was really the only thing she had going for her, and that was now at risk.

Ephraim was starting to think Athena and Miya were switched at birth, because Alisa was the only other one he knew of on this island who would say something so improper! Though such a cute girl being so lewd wasn't without its appeals, admittedly. He didn't even know how to react, so perhaps it was lucky for him the Pegasus Knight arrived when she did, as embarrassing as the situation was. He had never needed rescue before, but it really felt like he did this time!
Then came Tana's little challenge. With how his day had been going, he half expected her to challenge him to "take" Miya from him! But this time, it was the other way around. What a... bizarre situation. He let out a slight grunt as Miya removed herself from him, trying to focus. On... anything other than his body's desires! "...Have I no say in this?" He asked mostly himself. Still, he had to admit he was curious about the outcome... and in his current state, he did desire to see it for baser purposes, as strange as that made him feel. He sighed slightly. "This is hardly necessary..." Still, he wasn't exactly stopping it. If it got too serious, he would--but he doubted that would happen. He tried to justify it to himself that he did want to see Tana's progress in strength and skill, but... there was certainly more to it than that.(( OOC: ))

Miya took a step forward, the determination on her face was almost hard to believe such a cute girl could carry such a look! "Ready or not...here I---" There was a high pitched squeak and squishy sound suddenly as she took a step forward, another step and the same thing happened. Her face went instantly from that determined look, to completely embarrassed! "........." Her cute little shoes were water logged, and each little step she took sounded as though she were stepping on squeaky toys, with the added sound of squishy water. Maybe this would teach her not to jump into water fully clothed?! "..C-Can we wait until i'm dry? " Tana's response was..silent. But it was also a bit scary, it was now her with the look of determination as she climbed up onto her awaiting Pegasus. "Eep.." She was starting to regret her choices, and even more so her cocky-attitude that got her into this mess! Why did she have to try and act so cool! "...She's going to..fly away, isn't she?? " Her question was more to herself, but it could also be applied to Ephraim. As the Pegasus lifted with it's beautiful white wings she noticed Tana's weapon now in her hand. "..Wait! Wait wait wait!!" "Watch me, Ephraim! I'll show you my progress! " This girl needed to be taught a lesson, in the least dangerous way, but still enough that the thought of ever getting TO close to Ephraim, would leave her quickly changing her mind. Without any further words, the wings of the Pegasus began to flap harder, creating quite the wind storm below her. Twirling the lance rather impressively, the Pegasus flew down suddenly, diving toward Miya as Tana thrust the lance towards the pink-haired Serenitian!
But she didn't strike her, The lance would strike the ground beside her, but the wind gust and power behind the strike would be enough to create a gust of heavy wind to send Miya flying back, right over the spring, and into a large bush that would somewhat help to make her hitting of the ground less harsh as it could have been!

And indeed, she had quite the skill on display. He felt his heart skip a beat as he watched--her spearwork was very impressive indeed. She twirled it with such skill and grace! "When did Tana become so capable?" He wondered mostly to himself. During the war, he supposed he couldn't watch how skilled she fought in combat oftentimes, but she was certainly impressive now. "..." He really needed to calm down, though... Seeing Tana display so much skill certainly wasn't helping! He took a deep breath. He just needed to stop thinking or concentrating on suggestive or lustful things until he calmed down. That damn Miya had put him in quite a state, but he could calm himself down. It should be simple."There you are!" While Tana and Miya were busy having fun, Ephraim wasn't finished being accosted, it seemed. There came Annette dragging Hiyori in tow, and once Ephraim looked to them, Annette... struck a very suggestive, seductive pose. Of course!
