Delta bolted in through the door, and skidded to a stop when she noticed that someone was watching. The little Aerandir looked a bit familar... but she wasn't sure if she knew him. Best to act elegant and impress him all the same. Delta clasped her hands behind her back and did a little bow. "Nice to see you again, Mister Kiro!"
Sydney followed the little Aerandir in, her arms buried beneath layers of folded cloth. After staring at Kiro for a moment, and then the Aerandir, she came to the assumption that it was probably his "kid." Which was odd. Kiro was a bit of a 'young'un' himself, really.
Syrenrei was last. Looking at her sister, Delta, Kiro, and then Tsu, she let out a tiny sigh. More talking and people. She didn't want to be rude... she just really wanted a relaxing, quiet bath. "Syd, look after Delta for me?"
Without waiting for an answer, she waved to Kiro and Tsu briefly before heading to the baths. She was certain that Sydney could handle the munchkin herself.

Kiro couldn't help but grin a little. Why did they all want to call him 'Mister'? Pueblo had done it as well... Hmm...
He nodded to Delta. "Nice to see you too Delta-sama." He didn't know if she knew what '-sama' meant, but he was sure she would ask if she didn't get the jist of it.
Kiro then glanced towards Sydney, then looking to Sy as she sped through. Then he looked back to Sydney again, wondering absently what she was carrying all the cloth for. "You alright with those...?"
Tsukai, in the meanwhile, had pushed himself down from his chair and was watching Delta quietly. It was almost a curious stare as he watched her interact with Kiro. He'd never seen anyone act like that before...

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just got stuck carrying all the towels, robes, and the Delta's special cape." She flashed Kiro a rather devious grin. "Don't worry. I'm sure when Sy realizes she forgot her towel she'll run straight to Aly's if we aren't there."
Delta looked at Kiro, and then Tsukai. She thought he could maybe be the mouse-bird creature she had seen before, but she wasn't sure, and it was rude to make assumptions. Instead of greeting him by name, she just flashed Tsukai one of her award-winning smiles before looking back to Kiro.
"Delta Sama? You're silly, Mr. Kiro. I don't have a last name!" She giggled a little with childish amusement.

Kiro smiled and nodded a little as Sydney spoke, visibly embarassed by the thought of it - but trying hard not to show it. Trying to avoid discussing the comment he addressed Delta. "Where I come from '-sama' actually means Lord or Lady. So, I thought you'd like to be called '-sama'." He smiled a little. Then his ears twitched as he suddenly thought of something.
"Actually, Delta could you give me a hand with something?" He then glanced towards Sydney apologetically, his ears leaning back. It was wierd with the children, you never knew who to ask the permission from - the child or the guardian. "That is, if you two weren't on your way anywhere?"

"We were on the way to the bath, but I'm sure my sister could use some alone time. Besides, we've been cooped up far too long, so don't worry about it... although I'd be careful. Calling her a lady might boost her ego too much." It was hard, by Sydney's rather plain expression, to tell if she was teasing Kiro or was completely serious.
"But I am a lady, Aunt Sydney!" She looked towards Kiro with a grin as Sydney rolled her eyes at her niece. "Sure, Mister Kiro, I'll help you." She wasn't surprised... people always wanted help from someone as pretty and smart as she was. If princesses could be nominated instead of born through royal bloodlines, she was sure she would have been the beloved princess of Cetalu.

Kiro grinned a little as he glanced over Delta to look at Sydney. "Children have their buttons. You've just gotta know what they are." He'd learned this with Tsu already. Talk about doing something like it was a grand adventure, and he'd be right there with you. He imagined telling Delta she's a Lady would make her more agreeable to whatever you suggested next.
Smiling, Kiro squatted down so he was more her height, subconciously balancing with the end of his tail. "See, Delta, I need find out a few things about you. Things like your height, what you weigh and so on." Standing straight again, he said, "so, if that's okay with you I'll go and get one or two things for that." Without giving her a chance to protest, the neko-jin disappeared in search of his notebook, and his other trusty tools.
This left Tsukai alone with Delta and Sydney. Grinning suddenly, the Aerandir waved - the action was broad, as though he wasn't waving to anyone in particular. "Hi! I'm Tsukai!" he announced, the bell in his hair jingling a little as he bounced on the balls of his feet, the not-waving hand held behind his back.

He obviously wasn't trained in the way of being a princess and polite like she was, but he was a boy so she forgave him. Besides, not everyone could be as socially skilled as she obviously was. She walked over and extended a hand to Tsukai (who she noticed was a bit smaller than her) and beamed at him.
"I'm Delta! It's nice to meet you, Tsukai." She rememberd him vaguely, and wasn't sure she had to introduce herself, but it was best to err on the side of caution.

For a second, Tsu just stared at her hand. What was she doing...? He was tempted just to poke her hand, to see what she did about it. However, having had a fight with Hope that morning - he assumed poking Delta's hand wouldn't be the best thing to do. Maybe he was supposed to... He reached out and took her hand, in a handshaking movment. He remembered a story from somewhere had said that the characters "shook hands". At the time he'd assumed they'd stood and literally shook their hands at each other. But perhaps this is what they had meant.
Presently, Kiro returned with the trusty tape measure, scales, and notebook and sat on the floor near the two Aerandir. "Okay guys, I need to measure you two. Stand up straight and tall for me."
Obediently, Tsu stood on the floor with his feet flat and his arms down by his sides and let Kiro run the tape measure from the floor to the top of his head. Absently, Kiro noted down Tsu's height before looking to Delta. "Your turn Princess."

Delta thought this was all a bit strange, but as long as Kiro was nice and recognizing her as her princess self, she of course obliged. She wandered over to stand next to Tsukai, making sure her back was nice and straight (she'd been studying postured) and clasped her hands in front of her. She was sure if Kiro put a book on her head she could balance it perfectly. Mommy and Aunt Sydney had taught her how to do that already lots of times.

Kiro ran the tape measure up from the floor to the little girl's head. He was nothing short of amused by how princess-like she was acting, but strove to hide it. He couldn't imagine she would be very impressed by being chuckled at.
That done and noted, the neko-jin then pulled the scales a little closer. "Now I just need you two to get on the scales - one at a time," he specified as he gave Tsu a stern look. He didn't put it past the little guy to try and hop onto the scales alongside Delta.
Tsu hopped onto the scales, watching the small needle swing from side to side a few times before settling on a number, which he watched Kiro copy down. There was a set of letters Kiro hadn't shown him, he noted, crouching down to stare at them.
"Come on Tsu, it's Delta's turn next."
With a disappointed expression, Tsu got off the scales, pulling his tail around from where it lay draped on the scales. He wanted to know what the numbers meant!

Delta wasn't sure what weight was, just that there was a lot of fuss over it in her magazines. All she knew is that higher numbers usually made girls upset. This was something she hadn't studied yet, and now she made a note to ask her mother and aunt about it later. Regardless, she had told Kiro she would help, and princesses didn't break their word.
She walked to the scale and gingerly stood on it. It sure was some weird contraption. Just like Tsukai, she stared down as this little needle-y thing moved around at bunches of numbers. She knew the numbers... but the whole weighing thing still was a mystery to her.

Kiro watched the needle settle on a number, before jotting it down in his notebook. "There we go, all done," he gave Delta an appreciative smile. "Thanks Delta, you've really helped me out here." Feeding her ego wasn't going to do any harm, he decided.
"And me!?"
"Yes Tsu, you helped me lots as well," agreed Kiro with a grin and a nod. He playfully reached down to pull the small Aerandir's tail. "You know I appreciate that too, don'cha?"
"Yeah!"

Delta looked up at her aunt as if to say, "See? I DID help!' but the older woman wasn't even paying attention to her. Delta looked mildly agitated at her aunt before turning to Kiro. "I'm glad I could help you, Mister Kiro! I need to go get clean now! I see you later!" With an excited squeel of glee, she pranced down the hall towards the hot springs.
Sydney rolled her eyes at her niece as she left, and looked towards Kiro apologetically. "I'm glad she could help you. She gets all excited to get out of the house, especially to go get "clean" and "pretty." You two should drop by, though... Delta relishes company. Or we could stop by here. Take care." She nods to them both as she follows her niece at a more relaxed pace.

Syrenrei entered the centre first, opening the door for her daughter. Even if Delta could open the door (it was too heavy for her, she claimed), the idea of having it opened for her as if she was royalty was too glamorous. Thus, Sy had become the official door-opener. Delta strode in behind her, putting one hoof in front of another. She had learned that was the proper way for a lady to walk. She needed more practice because she had to look down to make sure she did it right.

Osu pelted eagerly down the path towards the centre, his bushy tail streaming behind him as he ran. He had been in the house all morning, and was now eager to be out and about. Skidding to a stop just in front of the door, he reached up and tugged impatiently at the handle. He pulled the door open in a slightly clumsy manner, twisting around as the door swung so that he could push it instead of pull.
Once he'd finished, he turned and headed straight into the centre without waiting for 'Yasu. On taking a few steps in, he realised that there were actually people in here. Yay! People to play with! Stopping, he grinned cheerfully at Syrenrei and Delta.
"Hiya!"
Ieyasu was following a short distance behind Osu. The kitsune was never ahead of the Aerandir - Osu was always too eager to take a more relaxed pace. Heading through the open door, he pulled it over behind him before walking into the main room. Spotting Syrenrei and her charge, he smiled.
"Hey there. How's it going?"
