Devon turned around and stared skeptically at her. "We just had this whole discussion on my short attention span." He reminded Naoto. "What makes you think I would listen to anything about school?"

Naoto adjusted her cap. "I've excused you from the last week of school before summer break, which is why you weren't woken up to go to school today." She pulled out a big packet and held it out to Devon. "Summer break homework, please don't wait to the last week to do it."

Devon ignored her. Do his homework? Haha. Never. He sighed. There wasn't much point in going back to sleep now that he was awake anyway, so he decided to do a bit of exploring.
