((okies...how does sneeking around the hallways sound?))
Taki smirked. "Sorry, i don't swing the way, K2."
Kia looked over at Taki, incredulously. I swear he's just trying to piss everyone off today...
She looked back towards Bryan and Brooklyn, sub-consciously tapping her foot. And this really isn't getting us anywhere...
Bryan still wasn't convinced and opened his mouth to argue further but was stopped.
"CAN WE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ALREADY?!"
He blinked and looked over at Kia, a little surprised. Taki stopped his tormenting of Kai2 and turned around, before giving a low whistle.
"Oh dear, you made the lady mad. You shouldn't do that, the only thin gleft to do now is run. So if any of you want me i'll be um.."
"Running from the lady?" Tala supplied.
Taki clapped. "For once, you made a smart suggestion, that's exactly what i'll be-"
"You're not going anywhere, Taki."
His head drooped. "Looks like i'm not going anywhere..."
((ok, so...sneaking around looking for mariah i guess...then *bang* confrontation! *smack* conflict! *ping* and everything in between!))

The Kai's looked at each other, rolling their eyes simultaneously before turning as one to the door and making their way toward it.
"Where are we going?" Kai1 asked his twin.
"Somewhere you can set something on fire." Kai2 replied coolly, holding the door open for the other. "Any ideas? Preferences?"
"The lab?" Kai asked, shutting the door on the group and looking at his counterpart.
"Can we get in there?"
"It depends..." Kai said, biting his lip in thought before reaching up to the other's face and trying to find the end of the bandage around his face.
"Jesus Christ!" Kai2 swore, ducking away from the others hands. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
"Having an idea."

"Only a few hours?" Boris asked, blinking in confusion. "Then why are you tired?"
"Big few hours." Rei said shortly, snuggling into his pillow

Kia looked after the two Kai's and nodded, pleased that something was happening if not a little annoyed they didn't say where they were going. Taki tilted his head on the side and watched them go.
"You know, he worries me, both of him."
"Excellent, you can follow him then and make sure he doesn't kill himself."
Taki looked over at Kia, eyebrow raised. "So, you want me to babysit him? Again?"
"Yep, and i'll look after this mob and find Mariah and the others."
"Hey! Don't i get a say in this? I am his significant other," Tala interjected. Both taki and Kia looked at him blankly. "No."
Tala huffed and Taki wandered out after the twins. "Don't do anything stupid," he called over his shoulder.
Kia rolled her eyes and looked at the others. "You guys are comming with me and meeting the rest of the resistence," she smiled, "then maybe we can work on getting out of here." She stood up and walked over to the door, waiting for the other three.
Wolborg looked up at his master who shrugged in return and ambled over to Kia. Wolborg grunted and followed. Bryan stood up and looked at Brooklyn.

The Kai's looked over at Taki, surprised. "What are you doing here?" They asked in the same, slightly annoyed tone of voice.
The original let the bandages fall from his twin's face, blinking in surprise at what he found there. "They're some damn good drugs." He said with feeling, running his hands along his cheeks gently, noticing the redness and puffiness that still remained. "How long ago was the surgery?" He asked in awe.
"Ouch!" Kai2 said, slapping away his twin's hands. "Bear in mind that I'm still recovering" he said cuttingly. "I don't know when the surgery was. A while ago."
He looked over at Taki. "Do I look like me?" He asked.

Brooklyn walked over to Bryan and took his hand firmly, interlacing his fingers with the Russian's. Lust for power or no, he didn't want to lose what he had with Bryan.
"Let's go."

Boris' frown deepened. "Are you sure you're ok Rei?" He asked, concerned. "You can normally go for days. What's up?"
"Big few hours." Re insisted.

Bryan smiled at Brooklyn and gave his hand a squeeze, "I guess so." He lead Brooklyn over to where Kia held the door open for them. She was looking boredly at Tala as he sulked about being stuck with them and not Kai.
"Yes, well, he was the one who left, Tala, if he wanted you he was more than capable of dragging you with him, besides, i think wolborg would have more fun with me," she said.
"Yer, well i still don't know what we're doing."
"Finding the rest of my merry band of men," Kia said before heading off in the opposite direction to the other three.

"I've been given orders to follow you two to make sure you don't get into trouble," he said, slipping back into his soldier persona before sticking his tongue out at them both, "In other words, your stuck with me since Kia doesn't trust you to not get into trouble."
He looked over at Kai2 and tilted his head, examining the other. "Hmm, well nothing beats the original, i'll say that. Now, what are you two planning, exactly?"

"I was thinking that maybe we could go into somewhere and he could distract any people there while I... do something." Kai1 said, trailing off uncertainly.
"Set something on fire." His twin said helpfully, reaching up to touch his face gingerly, hissing in pain as his fingers touched his sore skin. "What did they do to me?" He muttered, asking no one in particular.
Kai1 didn't answer, still freaked out by the experience of seeing himself. IT was like looking in a mirror but the features were reversed. Do I really look like that? He wondered.

"Why do we want to do that?" Brooklyn asked Kia. "Aren't they doing important resistance... stuff?"

Boris frowned but didn't say anymore, deciding instead to simply look at Rei reproachfully.
It did the trick. Rei sighed and pushed himself off the bed. "If I can't sleep in my own bed" He muttered, irritated.

Kia blinked. "Well i'd want to hope they're doing important resistance type stuff or i'm going to give them an ear full, with help of Mariah."
Tala raised an eyebrow. "You mean the pink thing? How would she help?"
Kia raised an eyebrow back at him and smirked before looking at Brooklyn again. "I also need to find them all and give them their orders. Instead of Mariah running around telling them to do something when the plan's changed."
She poked her head around a croner and looked down a corridor frowning. "I guess we're going the back way."
Tala huffed and looked around as well. "There's no one there! You just want to take the backway."
"That's what worries me...there's no one there...," she said before walking down the darker corridor.
Wolborg nudged Tala as he walked past and gave him a smug look. Tala glared. "Shut-up you."
Bryan looked up at theee ceiling and rolled his eyes.

Taki nodded. "Yes because setting things on fire is always the best option," he said sacrcastically.
He looked at Kai2 with his head tilted. "Well, i don't know the exact details but whatever they did was pretty darn good to get Sacha to look like Kai," he said.
"Now really, what do you want to do in the labs? And you wouldn't be distracting many people...only...," Taki blinked, "..Ralef....," he trailed off.
He thought for a moment before turning to Kai, slightly sadistic glint in his eyes. "I think you may just be onto something, Kai."

Kai1 looked at Taki, smirking. "We know." He assured the dark-haired Russian before beckoning to both his twin and Taki. "Time to implement the brilliant plan." He told them both, turning and beginning to walk down the corridor. I hope I'm going in the right direction.
Kai2 sighed as he watched his counterpart walk away, Taki's words ringing in his ears. He's right. No matter how much I feel like me I'm only Sacha dressed up.
He tried, not for the first time, to find any trace of the other in his head and failed once again. I'm still me He thought, confused. He shook his head in frustration before following the other Kai, hoping that he knew where he was going.

Brooklyn blinked at their banter before looking over at Bryan and squeezing his hand. He leant up to whisper in the taller boys ear. "What's up?"
He sank back down to his normal level and looked up at Bryan expectantly. He had his 'something's up' face on.

"Rei..." Boris said gently, sitting up. "You know that's not what I meant."
"Then what did you mean Borya?" Rei asked angrily. "Why don't you want me to sleep?"
"I never said I didn't want you to sleep." Boris admonished. "I'm worried about you."
"Then don't be." Rei said, looking around on the floor to find his pants. "I'm perfectly fine. Just Tired"

"The ceiling," muttered Bryan before he looked back down at Brooklyn, "And be stuck with those two for a while seems like torture at the moment."
He looked up at the two walking in front. It seemed like Kia and wolborg were ganging up on Tala about something with the looks they were giving him. Although, Tala might have had something to do with that.
"Brooklyn? Next time Kai gets captured by some evil organisation remind me to stay in bed," he looked down at Falborg's disc, "And i'm kind of scared of these things at the moment. Especially if they're all like that smart-a** wolf up there."

Taki walked up beside Kai1, remembering to guide him down the right corridor if necessary. "And that brilliant plan would be? And do i get to use my blade in there somewhere?"
He looked over his shoulder at Kai2 and quirked an eyebrow.What's up with the Kid?
He shook his head and turned back to Kai1, lowering his voice. "You do know that we have to do something about you two sometime in the future, right? You can't stay separated."

"I'm still working on the brilliant plan." Kai1 said coolly before looking behind himself at the other Kai. "I know..." He told Taki quietly returning his gaze to regard the Russian beside him.
"I know that we have to go back but I can't help but feel guilty about it." He paused and frowned. "I shouldn't be feeling guilty, should I?" I mean, he is me."
The second Kai looked up when his other looked back at him. His eyes narrowed in suspicion as he noticed their lowered voices. What are they talking about?

"I never thought you'd be scared of anything." Brooklyn said seriously, watching Kia and Wolborg's antics absently. "Does Falborg feel like a smart a** to you?" He asked, looking at Bryan's disk for the first time. In all of the commotion he hadn't been able to study the spirit his lover controlled.

Boris sighed and sat up properly, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. "Rei..." He said again, warningly. "Tell me what's wrong. You don't get like this when you're ******** off." Rei said irritably, locating his pants and pulling them on. "Just leave me alone. Get out of my room."

Bryan smirked. "Well, no he doesn't feel like a smartass to me," he looked down at his disc who was staying silent, "i don't think he's really the get involved type unless it-"
"Whose sacred spirit thing are you?! Mine or hers?!"
Bryan blinked and looked up at the two in front.
Wolborg gave it's master a growl and disapeared in a flash of blue light. Kia raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"Ooh, i think you pissed him off."
Tala galred and retorted, "Ooh, i think you should shut up."
"Ooh, respect your elders."
"Your not my elder by much."
"And? i have a gun you know."
"And? I have a sacred spirit."
"Which you just pissed off, remember?"
Tala stayed silent and blinked before walking off. "Shutup."
Bryan shook his head. "On second, make that i'm just scared of Tala when he's in one of those moods, and when he's managed to piss of a sacred spirit and continually argues with someone with a gun." He raised an eyebrow and looked at his disc when he though he heard a chuckle from the disc, more like a load rumbling of wind in his head. So there is life in there...

"That's the thing, he is you, not a sibling or a twin. Your one and the same. When you reverse the process, it could just be like gaining extra memories, i don't know. You won't be killing anyone if that's what your worried about," Taki looked at the ground sadly, "That person's already gone..."I don't feel sorry for him, but Fayina...the idiot.
"if anything, your harming yourself more the longer you stay apart from what i gather," he concluded.

Kai1 sighed and nodded. "I know." He said quietly. "But if I understand what Kia was talking about him being around will only take a few hours or days off my life, won't it?" He asked.
Kai1 looked over his shoulder again at his double. "Isn't it worth that to keep him around for a bit longer? We don't know what will happen when we go back together. Everything that's made him him since we spilt might disappear."
Kai2 looked at the ground, not wanting to even see the conversation that he was now sure was about him. He had seen the other Kai's repeated looks at him. Bastards he thought resentfully.

Fayina rounded a corner and saw Taki and the Kais. Her eyes widened and she quickly back stepped, hiding behind the corner again, hoping they hadn't seen her.

Brooklyn nodded silently, biting his lip at the mention of Kia's gun. He hated the thought that she had to carry around a device that was made to kill people in order to protect them.
It seemed insane.
He felt Zeus' power surge through his body, giving him a pleasant buzz. He sighed and shook his head. He knew he couldn't afford to let Zeus take over no matter how much power would be at his fingertips if it occurred.

Boris' frown deepened and he stood up, slowly walking around the bed. "Rei?" He asked.
"I SAID TO GET OUT!" Rei shouted.
Boris walked over to Rei and put his hands on the younger's shoulders. "Rei?" He repeated.
Rei struggled against the elder's grip. "Let me go! I said ******** off!" He tried to push Boris away, striking out at him randomly, hitting the Russian with all of his strength. One of his blows hit Boris on the cheek, sending the elders head snapping sideways.
Boris recovered and glared at Rei, maneuvering them so he pinned the neko-jin against a wall, moving to hold Rei's arms to prevent him from hitting anything. "What the <********> is wrong with you?"

Bryan looked down at the disc and twirled it around in his fingers. Wonder what you look like....
Another wind like sound blew around in his head. This one sounded, no felt like it was answering him incredulously. Bryan frowned. Well how am i supposed to know you look like....a bird. He blinked. well, that was easy. The wind blew exhasperatingly.
Bryan looked up and noticed Kia had slowed down so she was closer to them. He raised and eyebrow and looked up at Tala, who was a fair distance in front.
"Are you just going to let him keep walking like that?"
Kia shrugged. "He'll realises he has no idea where he's going soo and come to a halt at another corridor."
She motioned towards Tala with her head. He had come to a stop and was looking from left to right. "See?"

"Everything that's made you you," Taki said, "And i didn't say do it now, i just wanted make sure you know it can't stay this way. Even if it didn't do anything to your health, we can't have two Kai's running around. I don't like the idea of just having him around to use him though, that's something Kia would do."
He sighed. "But, we'll figure that out later." He looked over his shoulder at Kai2. "Whatch doin back there?"

Kai1 sighed and looked down at the ground. But we're not just using him, are we? He wondered, continuing to walk.
"Walking." Kai2 answered Taki nonchalantly. "I don't know where we're going. I've only been down to this area once."
He looked around at the dull surroundings. "You know, I never knew that B-" His eyes widened as he realized his mistake. "s**t." He said flatly before he collapsed on to the ground, holding his stomach.
Kai1 turned around when he heard the thump of his twin's body hitting the ground. "What?" He asked, running back to his other.

Fayina resisted the urge to peer around the corner to see what was wrong. She was too busy trying to figure out how to get Taki by himself. She didn't want to do what she had to do with Two Kai's around.
I wonder which one was Sacha? she thought masochistically.

Brooklyn smirked at Tala before turning his attention back to Kia. "Where are we?" He asked, eyes roaming the seemingly featureless corridor.

Rei glared up at Boris. "Nothing's wrong with me." He said, trying to make his voice sound calm. "Nothing at all." He blinked and felt a tear begin to fall from one of his eyes. He frowned, angry at himself. "Please, just leave me alone."
"Not until you tell me what's wrong." Boris said firmly, relaxing his grip on Rei's body, seeing that he wasn't violent anymore.
"Nothing." Rei said stubbornly.

Kia looked around and then back at Brooklyn. "Section C, corridor 17H leading to Section A2."
She nodded. "It's the backway, no one uses this unless there's an emergency. It leads to a training type area. Sometimes used when the higherups call everyone together since it's huge but they rarely do that unless it's really important. Like when people are promoted or something. Mariah usually uses it to speak to the resistance."
Tala looked both ways again before shrugging and choosing a corridor and walking down it. Kia raised an eyebrow.
"He's lucky he chose the right side cos i wasn't going to fetch him."
Bryan's mind was still swirling at what Kia had called this place. Something didn't fit.
"Where's section B then?"
Kis shrugged. "It burnt down," she stated nonchalantly. She looked over her shoulder and grinned.
"Ask me how it burnt down, go on."

Taki stopped and walked over to the Kai's. He raised an eyebrow down at Kai2. "What happened to you?"
He though for a moment. "Actually don't answer that, you probably won't be able to unless there's a programmed answer."
He tilted his head down and smiled sadly. "You got chipped, huh?"
