Annie smiled faintly when Blitz answered. Melting Rod was something she could do- especially with her added power, when what she heard went dead mid thought. Swearing, Annie punched the wall, beside her, the wall denting in wards. She stared briefly at the wall before she ran to the car garage, passing those few in the hallway without slowing. Grabbing a key to one of the cars she jumped in, started the car, and pushed the peddle down. It took her about a minute (with her driving that was easily over a hundred miles an hour) to swerve into the parking lot of the hospital and jump out of the car.
That was when she saw the limo, Tesshoumaru, Lily and Rod. Why the Hell was Lily here? Why couldn't she stay out of trouble? Of course that was the least of her worries. She was about fifty yards from Rod, but that didn't bother her as she focused on the water pipes in the entrance of the hospital. It took her only a few seconds to cause the water to bust beginning to shower the already destroyed lobby in water.
As she focused on Rod, she took calm steps towards the scene, raising her hands as if she was to conduct a symphony, when a jet of liquid came towards Rod, not the harmless water spraying from broken pipes, no pure acid- a combination of acids meant not as a warning shot but as a disabling, even a killing blow. Though she appeared calm, her mind was racing, and she felt nauseated at the thought of upping her kill count to two, but then again could you even call Rod human?

Rod, too surprised to even gasp, tried rushing away, tried escaping the wave of acidic cognac..
To no avail. Taking the wave head on, Rod screamed, the wave passing, his metallic flesh suddenly steaming, deteriorating rapidly. Rod swiveled around, shaking layers of steel away, roaring as his strange flesh seemed to simply flake away, a mere shell. Twisting in agony, Rod began to huff and puff, his entire exterior firing off, piston explosions, smoke rising, obscuring Rod.
A moment later and the black smog cleared, revealing a completely different beast.
Rod didn't look harmed, himself now looking far more human, but still, his arms were slick and pearly in their sheen, his height sustained, his tail only looking more venomously sharp. His grey legs were lean and muscular, like a Doberman's hind-legs.
He looked..
"Fast." Rod spoke in a much smaller voice, shaking his joints and arms about, craning his neck. With a yawn, the physically evolved mutant roared, a screech that could only come from something prehistoric, a being ripped from time.
Rod fired forward, aiming to crush Annie with his hands, simply smash her brains into bits with his mighty limbs.
Thus was his plan, per usual.
Then Rod found himself on the ground, a steel ball bearing driven into the top of his skull.
Rod was out cold, completely conked out.
Eros slowly drifted to the ground, dropping to his good knee to study Rod, look him over, completely ignoring Annie.

Annie paled upon seeing the change in the Rod, that was the one problem with her power, acid took time to corrode anything. Yet, it initially looked as if it acted in time, when suddenly smoke cleared showing a new form of the monster. Annie swore as it rushed towards her, already creating a thick acidic barrier between her and the monster, when suddenly Rod was stalled, by a steel ball bearing driven into the beast's skull. Standing over him was her savior- well, not savior but helper- a strange winged man.
Taking a deep breath she released her acidic barrier with a mere blink of her eye, and hurried the rest of the way over to where Eros and the unconscious Rod was. "Um, thanks, I suppose," Annie said to Eros and looked around asking quickly of Eros and the others, "Is everyone okay? I hope I didn't do too much damage to anyone..."

Lily gasped at what happend next. though it did make since, she was suppose to be that mans profit, so he couldn't let her go around and act reckless. Sighing, she heard Daisy's voice, smirking she began to count. 1. 2. 3.
She was going to use each second to make sure nobody got hurt. 15. 16. 17. She sighed, this was just stupid. He was going to get himself killed! Lily was about to step into the fight again when she saw Annie, the girl was more then likely upset to see Lily in all this, but what she would have to explain was she didn't go looking for the trouble, it had found her. She was looking for Annie, not this monster that now changed forms again.
20. 21. 22.
Seeing her seconds where counting down, Lily scattered into the car, giving Annie one finger, hoping she'd get the message that Lily would explain everything in given time. She didn't want Annie to be mad at her for the rest of her life.
So, she sat next to Shane, giving a cold glare towards Daisy. The reporter obviously didn't like Lily, so Lily like wise didn't like Daisy. She roughly brushed her away from Shane, asking him a plethora of questions.
"are you okay? What hurts? Can you feel your legs? What about your back, any pain at all?" she was aware that the fall could of fractured or broken his spine, so the 20 question game was necessary if that was the case, because if his back wa broken, she'd smack Daisy for being so stupid as in moving him. Everybody knows you don't move a person who has a possibility of a broken back. Regardless of the dangers around them, the fight would be won to their side. Lily knew this.

Shane can hardly believe his ears. Was she seriously asking him if he was okay, with the way he was shouting in pain and crying. As much as he wants to lambaste her with a smart a** response he just says, "Lily, buckle up...and don't step out of the vehicle again. We have to get you help. Those backlashes are only going to get worse as time goes on."
He looks out to Annie and curses under his breath. He feels so weak and helpless compared to her, her friends, and even his little sister. "Get out of here Annie. If that thing was here, his boss wont be far behind."

Lily's eyes widen. Was he seriously not as concerned about his own self? He could be paralyzed or something worse. She rolled her eyes and just looked at him, examine the expression on his face. He thinks I'm some sort of idiot. He's here worried about my freak accident, and HE is the one who couldn't walk! However, unlike Shane who is more then able to keep his mouth shut, Lily isn't.
"What the hell is wrong with you!? I have a freak show accident and you are all worried about me, when you could of broken your spine? Seriously, ever heard of maybe being to compassionate. I'm fine. I will get over it, I always do. " she didn't want to reveal to much information about her ability with a reporter sitting next to her in the car.
Then she looked out the rear view at Annie, a small frown on her face, she felt strange leaving her there to fight Rod. Even if Annie didn't like her, Lily did feel bad about leaving them behind. What if Alix attempted to do something, sure he was strongly out number, but he was cunning and charming as well. She gritted her teeth looking at the driver. She had half a mind to tell him to stop and let her out, but she was already in and new that Shane wouldn't let her back out. Hurt or not, he'd have the reporter, Ms. Sun stop her, and that was the last thing she wanted.

Trinity and her mother are both in the cafeteria. She shows her how she has more control over where she appears next. Then she starts working on shapes with her shadow.
"Mom, I know we can't go back home. I'm afraid Lev will come after me again. Sensei says that he sees a certain potential or something... but... I'm not sure where we're going to stay?"
Mrs. Smith nodded at her daughter's concern. "I'm not quite sure myself, I was hoping either Shane or your sensei could tell us. We may as well wait for them and in the mean time practice with your shadow...I'm not sure if they would allow me to stay here. Seeing that I'm not a meta-human and all" she says giving a half a smirk.
Trinity returns a smirk. "Yeah" her smirk fades and her eyes lower thinking she may have to live here while her mother lives elsewhere, where she could be safe. Perhaps some sort of witness protection program or something...although she dread the thought, as long as she is safe she will endure living here on her own.
She continues to concentrate on shadow shaping. It turns into a blob forming a ball. The sides flatten and becomes a cube. She tips it on one of its edges and pushes down on that edge causing it to shift into a pyramid. This seemed a little easier than the previous exercise.

Annie spun around hearing Shane's voice, "Shane?" She yanked open the driver's side door, pushed aside Daisy and leaned over to him, squeezing his hand lightly, "Shane! My God... who did this to you? Don't worry about me, I'm on equal footing with Leviathan Cortez now!"
She smiled, "I'm going to revenge you, all those he has hurt, and all those meta-humans he has killed. I'm going to make everyone safe! Don't worry about me, I'm ready for him, now." Her mind rushing she decided to be a bit selfish, leaning the rest of the way over the reporter she kissed Shane on the cheek and jumped out of the car, running back to where Rod and Eros were, her auburn hair bouncing with the movement.
During the whole exchange, Daisy sat back as the girl-Annie- leaned over her. The reporter was flabbergasted at the whole scene. Was that why Shane was so concerned about the girl, that they had some kind of affection? Of course judging by Annie's expression and actions it seemed more one sided than that. The reporter sighed, relationships between these people weren't her problem.
Turning she said calmly, "Shane, should we go now? The girl said she'll be fine. You need to get treatment as soon as possible. And the girl-" she glanced at Lily "-no doubt needs to leave the scene before she gets into further danger and make any more of a mess."

Lily glared at Daisy, her eyes burning daggers right through her. She gritted her teeth and sat up a tad as she growled at the woman. She said that she made this mess, when Lily had nothing to do with this mess.
"I have you know you succubus little witch! I am not the blame for any of this! This isn't my fault! I'm not the one that thing smelled and came crashing into a hospital to find! Matter-of-factly! He was letting me go when all of you crashed onto the site! So why don't you take your little insults else wear, Daisy Sun. Because to be quiet frank I know you can't stand me, and to be honest I'm starting to feel likewise. " her words spat like venom towards the woman. She had half a mind to slap her across the face.
"Now, seeing that you most likely caused Shane's spine to break, I believe we should be going now. " the next comment was more to herself then anyone, but seeing that Lily was in the state of mind she was currently, and felt like hurting someone, she let it slip "Idiots wrapped in morons, I swear. Moving somebody with a injured back, thinking that it's the right thing to do. how freaking dumb. " the she tossed herself in the back seat, smirking as she remembered that Annie just kissed Shane. This comment she left in her mind. Good girl, show this bi*** how it's done.

Shane blushes when Annie kisses his cheek for the second time in two days. He decides it best not to argue with her about going off to fight Leviathan. He's figured out at this point that she isn't going to back off on this. He isn't sure what she is talking about when she says being on "equal footing with Cortez," but the time for questions isn't now.
Hearing the remaining two women with him exchange insults is starting to wear on his last nerve. "Would both of you stop already. Lily, I told Daisy to move me. We don't have time to wait for an ambulance with a spine board. Daisy, start driving us toward the university science wing. Annie and Teshoumaru can should be able to handle things."

Daisy rolled her eyes at Lily's blow up and shut the door to the limo and started the car beginning to drive towards the university science wing. As she drove she asked calmly, "So what's the story between you guys and the redhead? I thought you guys were worried about her... though I don't see why. It is her business what she does or doesn't do."
While she drove she tapped her fingers on the wheel of the limo and added, "And, I am owed an explanation on what is going on. Answer me truthfully, though, in regards to this. Is what going on right now related to the meteor shower several months ago?"

Shane grunts as he raises his voice to be heard by Daisy, "Truthfully, yes it is. I'll give you full disclosure when we get to Valhalla. There's not much sense in trying to hide the presence of meta-humans after all that has happened."
He shifts a little bit to take a look outside the window. After seeing that they are getting close to the science wing, he raises his voice again. "Alright Daisy, take a left at this next fork and it will direct us toward the on campus fire station. There is an unused bay on the very far right that is never used. When you pull in tap on the horn twice, wait ten seconds, then call the following number: 737-520-7734. There will be a voice on the other side asking for code clearance. Say "amethyst twilight" then we will be allowed entry. The code will have an EMS crew on standby to get me to the infirmary. Did you get all that?"

(Eros doesn't have wings)
Eros looked up at the woman, then ignored her once more, running a finger along Rod's neck. It appeared a dull thrum could be felt, for Eros quickly jerked his hand away, as if Rod were a snapping dog, grunting for his fingers, wanting to snatch them away. Eros looked up, smiled at Annie, watching her head off for a car, then stride back.
"He's not dead." Eros stood up, pulling another ball bearing out, one of the last ones in his jacket. "But no worries. I'll end this now."
Rearing his arm back, Eros began to wind up..
Only to have his arm grabbed, mid-swing, stopped completely.
"Now now. Ain't that a kicker." Eros suddenly went pale, his bad leg buckling, fear shooting up his spine, tearing into him like needles, glass, fine crystal in a sink or toilet.
Vomit on a carpet, can't get it up, can't clean it up fastenoughtogetoutofhere oh GOD OH GOD..
Leviathan Cortez filled Eros with lightning, letting him drop to the ground a limp rag doll, stepping over him without even breaking stride. He stood only six feet from Annie, pocketing his hands.
The man had truly become a sight to behold, the veins on his neck and arms literally glowing, his eyes pupil-less, rouge and brimming with energy. His fingertips cackled with static and laughter, the sky above beginning to grow black with fat clouds, the bellow of thunder beginning to roll in.
An inhuman smile, too wide for any other face, too broad for even a jester.
"Ohhh boy. Ohhh dear." Lev kicked at the dirt, scuffing his boots, spitting at Annie's feet. "Look's like your in my way." Lev cocked a thumb backwards, "Why don'tcha just, praddle along, get. Beat it. Scram."
Lev now held his hands to his sides, and thick ribbons of lightning, enormous waves of tesla and malice, tore from the sky and air around him, a heavy red filling him, ripping the flesh from his hands and face, tearing his hair away as he laughed.
The pulse from his being was almost god-like..
Or so he believed.
So he wished.
"Why don't you just QUIT!" With that, A bolt of lightning tore from his hands, aiming to flash fry Annie on the spot.

(Sorry I think I was guilty of making assumptions about Eros based on his name) Annie paled as Leviathan Cortez made his appearance, but she was prepared for his attack, or at least as prepared as she could be. As the lightning tore at her, she winced as she formed a bubble of water around her, diffusing the electric from her like a lightening cage. Yet, as the lightening diffused to the ground around her bubble the concrete snapped. Annie took a deep breath, and crossed herself, she wasn't religious, but after all this if she survived she might be. At least Shane and Lily and that reporter woman were gone now. "Why ask a question if you don't expect an answer?" She snapped at Leviathan. "It's pretty obvious that attack was meant to kill me."
Meanwhile, she reached into her pocket pulling out the glove containing the meta-human substance she had swiped earlier from the lab. As she spoke, she used acid to eat through the glove and liquid mixing with the substance that she began to absorb through her pores and the various scratches she had from previous conflicts. As the substance entered her body, the white's of her eyes began to turn black and the brown of her eyes were shifting to a glowing gold.
Smiling she said, "You really should look in the mirror, sir, that substance is really taking a toll on you. How much have you had? Mr. Cortez, I should let you know, you won't be able to fry me like everyone else who has stood in your way. I manipulate liquid- as long as I am shielded by a water cage set up around me, I won't get hit."
Raising her hands she prepared her attack and she hissed, "Leviathan Cortez, I am sorry, but I'm going to have to kill you here and now: you have gone far enough."
*** Daisy nodded as Shane explained the situation, her head was beginning to hurt again the further she drove from the hospital. "I'm a reporter," she snapped at Shane. "I make it my business to get things the first time around." Following his directions she pulled the car into the unused bay, honked the horn twice, while pulling out her personal cell phone and then dialing the number he had told her about. After being asked for the code clearance she said calmly, "Amethyst twilight." Then, proceeded to hang up the phone.
Massaging her forehead, "By the way, trouble is only getting worse at the hospital if either of you are curious. Not that it is like any of us can do much, but I thought I should bring it up."

Cortez snarled, whipping his arms back, a lash of pure energy cracking against the concrete, ripping the stone and road to brittle nothing at his feet. His eyes slit and his teeth barred, canine and gleaming. Lev actually seemed taken aback, a pause in his movements.
Calculation, then the old smile smeared across his cracking lips.
"I've had my share of goop and souls..And we'll see who's the match of who this day!"
With that, Lev reared his arm back, slinging it forward.
This time it would appear nothing ebbed from his hands..
Then pure gravity would bang into Annie, another one of Leviathan's skills, although this time the force would be immaculate, equal to an 18-wheeler crashing full force into her, melding around her. If her defenses stopped this, Lev would need a new course of attack...
