" Don't call me M'lady. Makes me feel old..." Kali replied, shivering lightly. She inhaled deeply on the cigarette once more, holding it for a bit before exhaling, using her ability to transform the smoke into an image of a rabbit being ripped apart by a wolf. " Well that makes me feel better." she mumbled sarcastically, waving the smoke away with her free hand.

"No. I wanted to get away from my past. My parents, my other parents, and yet again, my other parents. I was just too tired of being put down by people that didn't even care about me. Especially my parents, the stupid jerks." she said with a minacing glare towards the sky. Small strands of grass plucked themselves from the Earth, shooting sharp tipped towards the old house. They hit the old rotten wood in a random pattern, sticking into the wall like kunai knives.

The wind blew lightly and the shards of grass blew with soothing motion. She sighed lightly, inhaling deeply to calm herself. She took another drag of the cigarette, finishing it off as only the butt was left. She flicked it up into the wind as it composed into dust, flying freely in a swirling motion towards the playground.

" Yes. Stupid lazy, inconsiderate jerks that never thought about me." Kali mumbled, sighing lightly. She sat up and pulled some grass out of her hair. Kali looked over with a quirked brow, smiling mischeviously. " True. And if it weren't for them you wouldn't have met me." she replied devilishly, standing up to brush herself off.

"Hmm, true true! What a bore this day would have been otherwise, neh'? Ah, suddenyl I feel up for a riddle, and yet nothing good is coming to me. By chance do you happen to have any riddles?" As she stood he sat, leaing back against the tree. An odd sort of balance lay in their split heights, one which he delighted in.

'Always! But you know, riddles can be fun and often they are simply a story if a lesson hidden away behind meaningless words. I always fail." He also picked some grass, letitng it go into the wind. He loved watchig the earth meld with the sky, just as sunrise and sunset amused him, and fire upon water delighted.

"I don't have any food though."

"Cute, eh? Now your making me feel like a child...but then, if you weren't so cute yourself I may have ahd a problem with that. Where are we going?" He accepted her help up and grabbed his luggage in the process, opting to follow her.

"Well okay," he said, taking his hands out of his pockets and sitting down beside her. "Yume, right?"
With a sigh, he stretched, yawned and got back into his comfy position.
He turned his head towards her, she seemed pretty occupied..
He looked at her, saw her ears and thought immediately she was a demon.
As a child, he's heard about such creatures.. but seeing one now, it couldn't have been possible they were all the same.

Ryuu then began to wonder where she and her friends ran off to, but it probably wasn't any of his business.
"Uh.." he opened his mouth to speak, only to find himself stumped again.
He closed them, not knowing what to say.. this happened to him around new people a lot.
He sighed and sunk into his position.
"So Yume," he began, "Where were you off to, anyway?"

"I dunno, just for fun I guess." he said, in the same cool tone she used.
"No, I guess my parents wanted me to learn more about myself." he said with a chuckle.
He threw his arms behind his head and stared more comfortably up at the sky.
"Though.." he whispered, "all I've done since I got here today was lay right here.. in this spot.
So technically, I have no idea about anything about this place."

Ryuu sat up abruptly, his arms between his legs, his ice-blue eyes staring off ahead.
He let his eyes relax as he listened to the sharp breeze blow by.
He took in a breath, let it out. "How about you, Yume? Why did you come here?"
He turned his gaze to her, so that his icy-blue eyes held her blood-red.

Ryuu blinked, staring curiously at the girl.
"Hey, are you alright, Yume?" he asked, reaching out to her.
He continued to stare at her, in half worry and half amusement.
Of-course, he understood the fact that she was still shy and all..
And he was glad to know they were both new to the place.
"Yume?" he said, placing his hand on her shoulder.
