Marshmallow Kitty Amelia smiled. Rhys was better, too. Now it was just a matter of waiting for the others that hadn't made it back yet to arrive. "Playing the hero means you're protecting the people you care about," Amelia told him. "I don't think you should regret it." "That's not it," Rhys said. "See, when I was younger I was always sick. I just didn't get to do the same things most children did because I was weak. I envied those who were strong--people like Ike or Titania. I felt that the strong could do anything. I wanted to be like them. I wanted to be a hero. But now? Having a hero means you have a villain, as well. I wanted power before, but now... now, I wish... this trial had never... come to me..." Tired and soothed by Pent's healing prowress, Rhys' head fell back in slumber. Yet, as he did, he heard a strange voice somewhere deep within his mind... So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All you have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given to you.

"Heh. Looks like she still has some mobility. Good." Rei created some more dark energy, and turned it into 8 balls, each of which went into a big circle around Alihi. "Ok, it's time to step up my game a bit, Alihi! Our opponents will probably fight to kill! Remember that!" One by one, the 8 orbs flew straight at Alihi, with a good few seconds between each, of course. Rei couldn't accidentally kill her, now could he?

[[Dangit, when am I going to flirt badly if you keep falling asleep? XD]]
Amelia frowned a little. When Rhys was finished speaking, Amelia started, "Just because you're sickly doesn't mean you can't..." she paused, though, as Rhys' eyes closed.
...And he's asleep again. Amelia bit back a sigh. He had to be exhausted, so she couldn't blame him for drifting off. She stayed at the foot of the bed, tucking his blankets back over him. Sleep well, my Lord.

The first orb glazed against Alihi shoulder. Luckily for her, she was used to magical attacks, so it didn't hurt as bad as it could have. Her cloak, however, now had a tear due to the energy. Frustrated, she tossed off the cloak, dodging the second one narrowly. The tactician evaded the rest, thankful for her speed. "... I will."

"And so... there are the first stars." Sue stared up at them, watching as they continuously appeared, speckling the large, black canvas the night sky had become with little dots of silver.
"I'm taking first watch, everyone. See you in the morning.." Sue blinked up at the skies, ready to attack at any moment.
{I'm getting off, everyone. See ya tomorrow! ... I eavesdropped on the Party Thread... -_- Tacitus... someone tell him to give up already. He needs to stop saying my name... }

Vika's large raven form collided into the FEFGA house door with a loud thud. As she fell to the ground, she wearily shifted back into her more human form. She clawed at the door with her nails, using it to support her as she pulled herself to her feet and opened the door. Staggering through it, she didn't even bother to close it as she moved erraticallly through the house, not focusing on any given person as she staggered, knocking over furniture and items as she did so. She just didn't care anymore -- she was tired, injured, and upset. Her wounds had reopened, bleeding, during the strenuous flight back, and every thought of Synra drove her deeper into madness.
Finally, in the center of the main room, she collapsed first to her knees, then onto her chest, unconscious in front of everyone.

Alihi continued to surprise Rei. Earlier, she said that she couldn't fight, But now, she was doing pretty well against Rei's attacks, dodging every other orb, save the first. Rei clutched the Apocalypse tome, tempted to use it. But, it was so powerful that it could easily end up killing Alihi. So, he tried something else. "Ok. You can dodge things. Good. Now, let's see you on the offensive!" Rei stood his ground, ready to dodge a few sword swings.
It was then that Synra flew in, making her way inside. Rei immediately pulled out his staff and ran over to her. "Whoa, Vika! Are you ok?" He said, already using his Heal Staff on her.

Nils turned around, startled. "Vika!!" He ran over to her side, turning her over so her back was to the floor. "... Vika, what happened...?"

Amelia leaped up as she heard a crash. She left Rhys' bed for a minute, rushing to the living room. "What's-- Vika!" Amelia gasped, then rushed over. "Is she all right? Make sure, I'm going to find an Elixir or something!" Amelia was on her feet and running for one of the storage rooms without another word.

He had to be exhausted, so she couldn't blame him for drifting off. She stayed at the foot of the bed, tucking his blankets back over him. Sleep well, my Lord.(Somehow, I actually think it's going to be exactly like Ouran H. S. Host Club's finale. Madrianna will be taking me away in a carriage, but you'll come riding after me on a horse and say something epic, and then I'll jump in a river after you, but even then I'll leave Maddie with a smile.) So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All you have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given to you."...What?" Rhys found himself in the middle of a vast hall, similar in structure to the throne room of Mainal Cathedral. Pillars of marble on each side supported a gigantic, domed ceiling while plush red carpets covered the floors. On the walls were hung portraits of great men and women of times long past; ahead of him, on the throne, was... "G-Goddess?" The Goddess Ashunera, restored at long last to her true form. Rhys kneeled immediately, having no etiquette in dealing with the divine. She giggled once in response. "You may rise, Rhys." "Surely this is a dream..." Rhys said in response, rising to his feet. "Then it is a good dream," the goddess said in response, rising, her feet seeming to hover inches above the ground rather than actually touch it. "I appear in these dreams to all those who are achieving Enlightenment. You, Rhys, are in the midst of achieving that." "I... I am?" "You said it yourself. For all your life, you wanted to be stronger. You wanted power. You, however, are at last realizing that power alone is not enough, that power can lead to a dark path." "Honestly, all I said was that I wished I hadn't been in that position of power." "Which means that you were presented with power, yet you do not embrace it. You understand what it means to be strong. You understand your former companions better now than ever. And for that, Rhys..." "Am I to be... become a Bishop?" The goddess smiled. "Not quite... you are not ready yet. However, you have proven yourself to be more worthy of the honor than most. There is little more you need as a standard man of the cloth. Sometime soon, you will be ready to bear the responsibilities of a true Bishop. Until then, rest easy. There is still much for you to do." The throne room started to turn hazy. "Wait! Goddess! There's so much I don't know yet, so much I want to ask you!" "With time and training, child... you will know." And the throne room disappeared, leaving Rhys back in the realm of normal dreams. (Because no epic is complete with divine intervention.)

While it was usually his intention as a thief to go un-noticed, this time was an exception. Growing slightly impatient of the situation, Matthew out-right shouted, WHERE THE FLUX IS SOREN?! It's no longer safe for him!!! Whatever that meant...
If this didn't work then he was just going to run back in the direction of the castle in hopes that he might pick up some sort of clues to where he was. At any rate, he knew that he had to deliver Roy's message to him.

[[Epiiiiiic! Wait, does that mean that I'm going to be wearing a pretty dress and you'll be wearing an awesome suit? Well, I'll be wearing the PETTICOAT to an awesome dress. xD]]
"Elixir... Elixir... Dammit, where are all of the healing items??" Amelia wondered, pushing around in a cabinet. Finally, clasping her hand around the blue bottle, Amelia cheered. "Yes, finally!"
Amelia ran back to the living room. "Here!" she panted, falling to her knees next to Vika. Her hand wrenched off the top immediately, and Amelia set to work at dabbing the miracle salve against Vika's wounds so they would heal. Amelia handed the bottle to Nils after a moment so he could use it as well.
