Mat walked with him slowly, and carefully, dodging the shapes he could only assume were people. he was afraid, of course, since he was going blind, and the fact he had only Bradley to rely on, just sank in. he suddenly found himself not just afraid, but terrified.

"...!!" Kir was terrified. He was more afraid of what would happen after he removed it than leaving it where it is. Tears developed in the corners of his eyes and he hugged Lily.
"Don't be afraid Mat," Bradley said, "We'll find a more peaceful place and then I'll look at your eyes. I might be able to help you."

Kir had no idea. He couldn't even confide in Kieran anymore. He hugged Lily tighter and forced his emotions away for her sake.

Mat looked at Bradley, and nodded. he decided to trust Bradley. he had been in the Academy before as well, and knew the horrors... though Mat didnt know they were evil. he didnt know how life should be. he knew experimentation of course, as was obvious by the tons of scars covered by his shirt and pants, though there was one right by his eye.

Kir burying his emotions didn't make Lily feel any better. She hated it when he did that because of her. She wanted to comfort him when he was like that, not have him hide it from her. "Please, don't do that," she whispered to him.

Kir moved his wing over to block out everyone else.
Then Kir broke down. He silently wept in Lily's shoulder.
Bradley walked along until he finally found the mouth of the cave, "We're going to go flying, okay? I'll carry you," He said.

Mat nodded, and let himself be carried. he was a little afraid again, since he wouldnt be touching the only solid thing to him at this point, the ground. his eyes had gone conpletely white...

Lily wasn't expecting such a sudden break down, but she recovered quickly and wrapped her arms around him and rubbed his back. She wanted to help him, by at least giving him some comfort.

Kir wasn't able to hold himself back anymore. He was certain Kieran is dead. There's no other explanation for the emptiness he was feeling. And he didn't want to hurt Lily any more than what he's already doing. He couldn't tell her about Kieran's death...He knew the both of them couldn't take it.
Brad lifted the boy up and spread his wings, "Hold on to me tightly," He said and they shot out of the cave and into the sky.

Lily gently started to rock a little with him. "Just let everything out, it's okay," she told him and then gently kissed the side of his head.

Mat held on to Bradley, and didnt let go. he trusted Bradley, and wasnt going to leave if bradley didnt mind him being around.

(Kir tried to get rid of the crystallis but he was forced to stop. Lily wanted to help him but he refused it. Now he's kinda crying from everything that's happened)
