lol... Nina and Shina... one's clean, one's dirty. both're poor, but have spunk. one flies a ship that's falling apart, the other has a ship of spare parts... blaugh )
Shina then pulled out a pocket computer, "Cables are still holding. We're towing the Midas just fine... wait.. we should go to..." She held up her device, "Jad!"

On the bridge, Jad was totally sober, yet acting as if he was roaring drunk. He pulled out his device. "Yeah? Uh huh... Alright... I'll tell her and him... Oi! Steve! We need to change course for Xalis... We have a starliner attached to the butt of this whip, and we'll need it gone... "

SPI -14 "Negative." Rin replied, "It revolves around-" Jad burst in, "alcohol!" He was carrying a jug of something green, he looked at Darius, "Hello! I'm rich! Have some Vaxxian death drought! guaranteed to kill a human in two sips or less!" Jad took a swig from the jug and gulped down a pint in one go, then smiled, "190 proof. It's like water for me." Rin glared at Jad, "If it isn't the Grand Admiral of the Pyresian Republic. I was just talking with Daruis here about the hitchhik-" "Yeah, sure. You know what? I'm going to trade in my little eagle for a ship bigger than the capital planet!" Darius looked at Jad. "I'd ask 'what have you been drinking?', were the answer to that question not painfully obvious.

Jad grinned back, "well, you're just jealous. Chin up man! you aren't going to see the universe end! I am!" He laughed and took a swig, then changed his attitude, walking in a straight line towards Steve and looking over his shoulder, "How far are we from Xalis?"

((Er... I'm hopelessly lost now, too. This is what my response would have been if Jad had not left suddenly.))
Blake stared at the man. Maggie was right to be so awed of him, even if angered about some of his... other past incident.
"Well, that's all I wanted you for," Blake said, realizing he was remembering those painful memories that everyone seems to have. "To warn you. I'd have tried to take you in myself... but I'm not stupid, of course."
Blake left the medical bay, leaving unsaid the real cause of his true alliance with Jad: respect.

Layla nodded slightly, a bit surprised at how easily Dr. Erin lost her temper -and this was coming from Layla. "I agree...I think shes uhh...losing her sanity for the moment..." she said in a whispered tone.

"Rosa...what do you mean? Kira likes living again...doesn't she?" Damien asked, his once positive attitude had since changed to that of concern.
Rosa shook her head slightly in response, followed by a long moment of silence. "...Kira hasn't moved on, living beyond the time she was allowed has done her no good, shes stuck in the past and blames it all on herself..." Rosa looked straight at Damien now, practically reading his soul. "...and if you truly love her...you'd set her free." And there it was, the truth that Damien never wanted to hear, what he feared the most -letting go of the one person that he cared about above all others. Rosa pressed one of the buttons on the remote, the lock on her forehead "skin" panel released, she remove the panel and her 'Black Box', handing it to Damien.
Damien looked sorrowfully down at Rosa's black box, inside of that metallic container remained the soul of Kira. "...So...all I need to do is release her....then she'll be happier...?" he asked Rosa. When Rosa nodded in response, he knew what he had to do, as much as he dreaded this -he knew it needed to be done. Damien hesitantly opened up that little container, in one side of it was a bunch of wires and memory cards (Rosa's OS section), and the other half contained another, smaller box with the name "Kira" inscribed on it. He removed the little box, then put Rosa's brain back where it should be. Damien stared down at Kira's box for a moment, then set it down on the table for now. "I wont release her here...once we get to a planet though, I'll set her free..." He assured Rosa, then left the room -only to see Jad acting like a drunken fool not too far off.
Rosa put her forehead back on, locking it back into place, then entered her charger pod, preparing for the next battle to come eventually.

(yes, well, Rin would have continued for ever, had I not interrupted... We'll say Zfatal's post hapened before, and that the drunk part came after? yes? then he's "drowning his sorrows" so to speak...)
Jad roared with laughter, then saw Damien. He ran up to him, withdrawing a small black pouch, "Hey! remember that thing I showed you? I got what I wanted... we should fix it!" (oblivious to Damien's pain... Alcohol actually does affect him... a little...)

Dr. Jeremy nodded, "You'll have to carry her with me then... #13! Action 600! Override 'Regret'!"
Erin looked odd at him, "what?"
#13 raised a weapon at Erin and shot her. Erin dropped to the floor.
Dr. Jeremy looked sad, "I'm sorry Erin..."

(( gonk Gaia is lagging again...took forever to finally log back in! scream ))
"....Can it wait until later? I don't think I'm up to the task right now..." Damien said, his voice sounded a bit pained as he thought about having to fix another robot.

"What the hell!?" layla practically shouted as she Erin get shot, Layla wasn't against betrayal at all -but this was rather...uncalled for. "How is THAT going to help any?"

Jad suddenly sobered and backed up a bit, "What's wrong?"

Dr. Jeremy waved his hands in what could be described as nervous fear, "You misunderstand! action 600 is to stun Erin... I have protocols downloaded into them each, keyed in with a vocal command and password. I regret using 600, so 600's is regret..." he explained, "If she's unconscious, she's easier to move... I'd never kill Erin... she..." he blushed, "nevermind... could you carry her? she's light, but if she wakes up to me holding her, she'll think I'm a pervert..."

Damien shook his head slightly "...I-its nothing...really..." he said (obviously lying), trying his hardest not to let his emotions get the better of him.

Layla sighed "Fine, I just want to get out of this damn place as soon as possible." she said rather grumpily, then walked over hesitantly to pick up Erin, its not that she didn't have the strength to do so -its merely the fact that shes too lazy to want to help out.

The man known as Aerclayr left the headquarters of the Eros Docking Hub ((or w/e)) with three men bribed and one dead. He left the planet quickly, his ship pointed in the direction of the last known direction of the Atlantis.

Dr. Jeremy bowed, "thank you miss Layla. Now let's leave. #13! Action 20! Passcode 'Hearth'!" #13's eyes flashed red, "returning to base at all costs. Eliminate all obstacles." She spun around and marched towards a catwalk elevator, massive weapons appearing in each hand. "Erm, now we follow her back to the lab..." Dr. Jeremy said nervously, "just, don't step in front of her... or she'll kill you..." --- Jad nodded, then frowned, "you, my intelligent friend, are in pain. not physically, but emotionally... I can tell. I've had that pain many times..." (Hiddo. Ever hear of a game called Namco X Capcom? if so, cool. if not,: it has KOS-MOS, Momo, Shion, Megaman, and Ryu in it, plus it also has a guy from resident evil and a whole bunch of other classic games. watch this to see the awesome: Namco X Capcom multiple attacks.)

((I haven't seen that particular game before, though on G4 Network I one time saw a game that was purely Namco's collection of characters and whatnot -that also had KOS-MOS and Shion in it 3nodding ))
Damien sighed, hanging his head low "...I must be a pretty bad lier, huh?" he asked, trying to lighten up things a bit. He leaned his back up against the nearest wall, his eyes closed. "...Kira isn't alive anymore...I kept trying to tell myself that...but no matter how hard I tried...I couldn't believe it...I refused to let her go. I thought that reviving her soul and giving her a new body would bring her back...but it didn't...it only brought back her negative memories...now I have to let her go...its not easy..."
((s**t...I think I almost started to tear up a little bit while writing that...GRAH! CURSE MY ABILITY TO FEEL WHAT MY CHARACTERS FEEL!!! scream ))
