"Just everything where my family is concerned," he corrected her. "That includes you." He averted his eyes and continued, "The truth is I'm very grateful to you. You've given me so much and I don't just mean the children..." Why was this so difficult for him? Why couldn't he just tell her? It was as if he'd forgotten the words...or just wasn't sure how to say them.

She blinked "What else? Oh do you mean lessons? Yeah.. I guess i can see how you'd be grateful for that... though you probably would have learned eventually." She glanced at him and leaned closer "Azy are you ok?"

She stared in shock. Ohh.. she wasn't prepared for this question "Umm... well lets see... someone who likes books and enjoys learning as I do, intelligent so I could share ideas with, well.. I guess having magic would be a plus, someone who can make me relax when things get crazy, who likes kids... and more importantly the kids like them, who can make me laugh, umm.. a friend.. you know? We don't have to do fancy things to enjoy spending time together..." Was that vague enough? She wasn't sure.. she kinda felt like she was one step away from spelling Az's name out..

She tilted her head thoughtfully "I think they would grow over time... I would need to know him in order to... love him.. I think.." Oh that was a weak 'I think' she put on there. She eyed the door... maybe she could slowly make her way over there before he came to the right conclusion...

She cringed a bit and softly muttered a "Not sure I can promise that.." then turned to look at him questioningly "Lose me? The way you phrased it kinda put me in the same position as Delilah? I'm not sure how you meant that."
((Ok.. *forces self to bed* I'd stay up longer but I'm really crashing.. I kept saying 'one more post' to myself.... and its been about 5 now lol.. Night!))

She blinked... okay he was obviously comparing her to Delilah in some way OTHER than him loving her. How else could he have meant it? She sighed... dancing around subjects wasn't her style. She could ignore a subject just fine.. but when it came to skirting around something without saying it... she sucked at that! She sat, since her legs were shaking, and looked at him as steadily as she could "Umm.. well... the only way I could figure out it sounds was that you... er... feel the same about me that you felt about her, but I know thats not possible so.. I'm confused.."
((*flails* Ro! Your supposed to dance around the issue more.. not just come out and ask!! gonk She never listens....))

She sputtered a moment "It.. just.. is. Geez Azy... I KNOW you don't feel that way about me.... " She fidgeted... he had to know now... why else would her mind jump to that?
