Katherine smiled, "Oh, ok." She looked back at the ground beef and panicked, "Oh god I've killed it!!" She quickly took the pan off the hot stove, useing her spatula to dangerously move the meat around but not quite letting any spill over the sides she dumped it into the beans, panting, eyes wide, like she'd just hit a dear or something.
Tones smiled, "Yes, I think so." He walked outside, into the fading light and sat with his back to the wall, careful of the fresh paint. He whorled the pencil between his fingers once before starting his sketch.

Danny chuckled a little before looking at the beans then back to Katherine. "Are you ok?"

Katherine took a deep breath and nodded, her head bowing slightly as she exhaled, spatula hanging off the ends of her fingers. "I'm sorry, I don't usually space out so bad."

Katherine smiled and took over the beens, after a moment she decreed them done, then proceeded to somehow manage to pass it out so there was just enough for everyone, using bowls that she had pulled out of a cabinet.
