Shiori nodded meekly. "Hai hai." she smiled shyly, holding her hands before her. "Although I think in comparison to you I'll be swimming quite nicely in a shirt."
She delighted in teasing him; she was just happy that he was willing to forgive her. She never expected him to... how could she? She still hadn't quite forgiven herself after all.
But she would make him happy. She knew that there was something else about him she couldn't quite place, and whatever it was, it won her loyalty.
Kaguyo didn't speak, simply glaring at him angrily.
No, all she did was wrinkle her nose in disgust.

Aled laughed, moving to stand.
He went to the closet, finding the woman something comfortable to wear.
"Swimming in clothes is hardly a bad thing." he pointed out. "A few of my robes even I swim in when wearing... certain ceremonial things are just simply too big."

"At least it got you to stop screaming." Ainsu replied, putting a hand to his head. "You were giving me quite the headache."

Shiori tilted her head. "Really?" she smiled, raising an eyebrow. She took her nightshirt---more like nightgown---and moved behind a dressing screen, carefully shedding her clothes. "I always thought your clothes were tailor-made to fit... I guess you weren't as fat as I thought you were all those years ago." she teased, snickering.
"Let me go." Kaguyo stated sharply, glaring at him. "I just want to get some sleep, damnit... If you have a headache, that would certainly help wouldn't it?"
She tossed herself, trying to push him off her; this time she almost made it. "Get off me, Muse."

"Hey now!" Aled replied, getting dressed for bed himself.
Though, he wore nothing more than pants, his silver hair hanging down to his waist.
"Be nice or no bed clothes for you."

Ainsu smirked, leaning down and gently cupping the side of Kaguyo's face with one hand. "Why should I?" he asked in a soft voice. "After all... I have you here... completely at my mercy..." his voice dropped seductively. "What is it that would anger your lover the most, I wonder..."

Kaguyo's eyes widened. "Oh no you don't..." she growled, a new surge of adrenaline rushing through her.
With that surge of adrenaline, however, came a gigantic burst of wind, the woman flinging him off her and into the wall. "TASUKETE!!!" she shrieked as loud as she possibly could, latching onto the door handle, "PO-AR!!! KAZUHIKO?!!! ALED!!! TASUKETE!!! IT'S THE MUSE!!!"
She knew she couldn't hold out against the Muse in the long run, but she had to ride this 'second wind' so to speak for as long as she could. This was her last chance of warning the others.
She already knew that her own fate wasn't exactly guaranteed at this point.
Shiori giggled, peeking out in the gigantic shirt. She was blushing furiously. "And just how exactly would you force that, hmmm? I certainly hope you don't hog the covers... You call me fat." she poked his stomach, laughing. "Besides, you're too tired. I bet I could even beat you in a fight this time around."
She was certainly pushing her limits, and she knew it, giving him an impish grin.

Ainsu however... was gone before he hit the ceiling...
He had suddenly summoned his ki, flying out the window and back toward Konton's mountains.

"Win? Hardly." Aled smirked. "You couldn't fight your way out of a paper bag." he teased, before picking Shiori up in her 'gigantic' shirt and twirling her in a circle.

Shiori squeaked and laughed, clinging to him.
She was most certainly a bright red, her cheeks hot against his shoulder. She couldn't hide nothin'. "I could!" she laughed, shaking her head, "Just wait and see! I'll burn your paper bag DOWN!"
She just laughed harder, nuzzling him and hugging him tightly. "I'm so happy you're alright, Al-chan..."
Kaguyo looked around in stunned silence, unsure of what she should do.
She could move to another room in the palace, for starters. No doubt that the Muse would be back; staying in this room was just a bad idea.
Secondly, she had to get some sort of weapon to stun him temporarily... perhaps some sort of sedative.
She finished opening the door and rushed into the hallways, raiding the lab and picking a random guest room to call her own.
It took her almost no effort to fall asleep again, however. Between the sleepless days and that sudden fight, she was absolutely spent.

"Then take a nap," Bright Eyes said. "I'm kinda tired, too. Which is weird. 'Cause I've been sleeping a LONG time."
"Make you a deal, Kazoo," Pixel said. "You can rest right here if you promise you'll come with me and Sleeping Beauty here-"
"I HATE Disney movies! That's just MEAN."
"-to find Fir," Pixel finished, as if she had never been interrupted.

By the time Eara came back to the living room, the credits were rolling. But Fir was gone as if he had never been.

Kazuhiko bit his lip, thinking it over before nodding softly. "Deal." he agreed, yawning deeply.
He was already barefoot and only dressed in pants, so it wasn't hard for him to just crawl into bed with Bright Eyes. "I think Sleeping Beauty fits her. She was talking about Peten Pan before---doesn't like Disney, huh??" he stuck his tongue out at her.
Perhaps there was some of the kid in him yet.
Eara blanched immediately, eyes widened. "Oh ********..." she whispered, digging into her pockets for her phone, "******** started dialing the base immediately, trying not to panic; however, this was extremely hard.
She rushed into the kitchen, starting to dig around for the knives. "Answer the damn phone Jules!" she shouted into the voicemail, "Why isn't your phone on?!! I... Damnit, the pizza showed up hours ago and I haven't a clue who ate it! It's gone!!! GONE, JULES!! I'm at the apartment, you need to call me back!"
She flipped the phone and started to dial Pixel, her breathing rate increasing. "C'mon, Pix, answer the phone..." she whispered, "Where are the ******** knives?!"
Shiori softened, leading him to bed. "C'mon." she whispered, kissing him gently, "Let's get some sleep, ne...?
She knew he needed taken care of now. She was more than willing to help.
"You should conserve your energy, Al-chan."

"Disney STOLE Peter Pan," Bright Eyes protested. "And I meant Disney Princesses! Blegh."
She stuck her tongue out right back at the boy.

If Eara had inspected her phone closer she would have realized that the battery had been taken out.
A cloaked figure came up behind Eara, stabbing her with a sirenge and injecting a sedative into her bloodstream.

"Oh ********..." Eara whispered, hand moving to her neck, "******** held her attacker's hand for a few moments, but her grip was quickly failing. She started blacking out while turning around; what happened to her knees?
What happened to HER?
Everything was so dark now... so calm....
The last thing she thought before passing out fully was trying to figure out who attacked them....
She thought she had a pretty good idea who it was, but it wasn't like him to use needles..
Was it?
"Oh, Peter Pan, not Peten..." Kazuhiko blinked. "But YOU'RE a princess, Bright Eyes, the most beautiful of them all!"
He pulled her into a hug, sighing deeply. "I missed you. It's weird to be bigger than you for once... I wish I would have listened Bright Eyes. I really do."
He closed his eyes, resting his head atop hers. "I missed this place a lot." he admitted quietly, loud enough that Pixel would barely hear. "Ghosts aren't always very good friends, are they?"

Itachi had felt rather bad about what she did.
Thus, she had made tea for Thom.
And was now standing outside his door, a tray in hand, knocking softly.
