I will take this moment to predict the Team Bomb.
The higher your partner's damage, the higher the damage and knockback it gives.
Also, all the color swaps seem to look better this time around.

Completely ignoring my Slowpost, as you should, I'd like to second what Tatsu has said. Team Bomb, or something of the sort, should be expected.
What other team items could there be? Team Super 'Shrooms? Metal Boxes? Bunny Hoods? I think we should leave this up to imagination.
But, on a quick note, an item that swaps team members would be cool. Unlikely to happen, but this is what I'm holding out for.

Healing items suck.
Team items are interesting.
Red, Blue and Green suck.
Zelda being seen for a change is awesome.
Meta Knight looks Badass.
Fox does too xp .
overall since it is an item I am dissapointed with it, but this could make limitless ideas for team matches.

Team Final Smashes would be a bit excessive. Combining two to make a new one would be insane, because there would be 54534352 different combinations. Using a Final Smash while doing team battle should be fun.
