Felina smiled playing with her hair while she thought "We'll have over 1000 years to have all the fun we could ever want but there is one place I would like to go see. I would love to see the nu mou city of Osayi. All the buildings are such weird and wonderful colour mixes created by over exposure to magic there"
Satoshi smiled back wishing to herself she had a kupo nut to try it out "I'm sure they would like it if I did but I'm out of kupo nuts and I don't want to patronize them too much either. And you never know what might happen, he might end up one of those once in a millennium people who are good at everything for all we know. In our village we have old stories about people who were great at both magic and physical fighting" she added quietly to Zadina's defence.
Kumool turned around watching Sophia as she shuffled along "Want me to carry her for you kupo? Alot of the people in this tournament are really arrogant fighters that placed a lot of money on themselves according to what the bookies have been saying kupo. Wonder what Gil is like as a person... kupo..." he pondered.

Oassu frowned "I dunno if the buildings are warped by magic exposure doesn't that sound a bit bad for your health being there?" he asked getting up to go shower.
Gil chuckled "I dunno they seem perfectly happy to be cuddled for Kupo nuts in my experience still you should be careful around a black or red chocobo they might use Choco flame or meteor on you if you keep luring their chicks away" he said.
Mari shook her head "No I could carry her just letting her get a little exercise but it was brave of you to offer" she said smiling "Sir Gil is pleasant enough, sure of himself but yet not arrogant" she said "You might get to meet him later" she added.
Itaka shrugged "Well maybe Zadina will be like that but I expect he'd have shown some kind of physical prowess before now if he was going to become someone like that, then again he does have a massive lifespan" he shrugged.
Zadina nodded happily "I'd love to! I bet they have awesome toys and things to play with might get Amane something too so we should look for stuff for her!" he said

Seph shrugged "You don't need to warn me about chocobos, I had to deal with things like that all the time when I worked on a chocobo farm years and years ago. Of course now its a lot more controverisal to be seen carrying one of those whistles about. And take it from someone who can do both magic and the physical stuff, one will always be better than the other by a long shot"
Hebal smiled happy to see Zadina's reaction "Then on lookout for awesoe toys we shall go and maybe I'll let you pick out a toy to have as a dragon festival gift from me. But as much as I would love to jump you up there, the sky is just too crowded so will have to go the long way up these boring esculators" she complained.

Felina giggled but sat up somewhat disappointed Oassu had moved away "Nah, it happened a long time ago when the buildings changed colour and the people. Besides as corny as it sounds theres magic all around us, it's just easier to see in places like that" she stated almost hugging her pillow.
Satoshi laughed uncertainly "Yeah well ok I'll give it a try though maybe you just met the hungriest or most kupo nut obsessed of the moogles while travelling. But fine he may not be the ultimate warrior type person but the point is, he's just starting out really so why not wait and see what he can do"
Kumool slowly nodded highly doubting the part about meeting Gil "Oh ok sounds good kupo, he's your close friend 's boyfriend right kupo? Its what the rumours are saying anyway" I kinda feel sorry for him kupo the amount of bad mail people have been trying to send to him. They even had me sorting it out yesterday an trashing the bad stuff kupo"

Oassu nodded "I guess so, just worried magic can do some horrible things to people when used the wrong way so I get a little nervous in high magic areas like that" he said.
Gil chuckled "I know I know I'll give him plenty of time to train you needn't worry" he said cuddling Satoshi "I'll train him good and he'll be fine once we're done" he said picking up his knife and fork as food arrived.
Mari gasped "Oh really?! I wouldn't have thought he'd have so much hate mail for him how come?" she asked in disbelief "I always thought Gil was fine and popular at least with all the fans he has" she said.
Itaka grinned as his food arrived beginning to tuck in "Why's it controversial? And what DO you prefer?" he asked Seph before tucking into his food "Seems like a legit tool for the job" he said.
Zadina sighed "Oh well I really like your jumps too but ok lets head up the escalators" he said looking for the nearest one "The city seems so much quieter here than the arena..." he noted

Seph sighed happily as she inhaled all the smells of her breakfast at once "Hmm smells do good.... anyway where were we? Oh yeah lots of chocobo cruelty peole made it controversial for getting it banned saying it was bad to use it to catch a chocobo with their babies as bait.. All over the top the top to me since I've never had an issue using one" she explaoned
Hebal giggled skipping over to the nearest esculator having spotted it before Zadina "Well of course it s quieter, all the attention is on the arena and who gets into the semi finals right now so the attention is far away from this area of town. Not that its a problem as I kinda like not being suffocatedby crowds. Bet the moogle but itsellf is busy but we'll be the tallest of the lot! so can easily get through"

Felina smiled watching what Oassu was doing out of the corner of her eye "Theres no bad magic reported there to be lingering around apart from the odd not so nice mage but theres one or two like that in every city. And trust me, the moogles are powerful mages, they could sense what kind of stong magic is at work in the area as easily as it is to identify whats in a bowl of fruit" she stated hoping to put his mind at ease.
Satoshi grinned cuddling Gil back briefly but soon pulled away allowing them both to eat their food "Sure you'll train him fine with a bit of time. You're more than welcome to show me a few of your moves too and unlike him at the moment I can take a few more tumbles" she smirked cutting her toast in half before taking a bite.
Kumool gasped shaking his head "No no no kupo I don't mean like that. I mean like people asking him to feature in all these adverts and things and junk mail kupo, and offerings of a life insurence policy. All the other competitors get that too just nowhere near as much but he does also get fan mail he can collect if he wishes kupo"

Oassu nodded "I don't doubt moogle's magical ability they are good with both gadgets and magic but they suffer when it comes to physical ability sometimes I find" he said running the shower for him.
Gil nodded putting the plate of sausages on the ground for Enkidu to chomp "I don't know why they are so bothered about Chocobo whistles, there's far worse ways to capture chocobo's that are less humane rather than luring chicobo's to you though I did hear an entertaining story about a man whose pants caught fire from annoying a black chicobo." he chuckled
Mari nodded "That makes more sense but does that mean you have like a part time job with mognet or something? Mail seems like it would be their territory rather than the judges' stuff" she pondered.
Itaka nodded dipping his sausage in the egg yoke "I'm with Gil here, heard of some poachers shooting nets or balltraps to wrap up the chocobo's legs so they can't run the whistle sounds like nothing in comparison" he said.
Zadina giggled "I suppose so unless there's lots of other tourists but it might be fun being with all the cute little moogles, wonder what a baby moogle looks like" he pondered picturing a ball of fluff with a pom pom sticking out of it.

Seph nodded her head having seen these methods herself "Oh for sure there are worse methods than that, but you know what hippies can be like, if it were up to some of them we would be living and acting like chocobos too. Last time I caught a chocobo rustler I think I set his hair on fire myself so good thinking from that black one" she snickered.
Hebal nodded letting out a small squeak as she remembered an old picture of one "Well they are just little fuzzy puff balls with little ears and arms and legs sticking out slightly and their pompoms are tiny, smaller than marbles for definite. Cause I once had a friend who gave birth and let me see them after about 2 weeks" she told him with a smile.

Felina shrugged uncertain due to her inexperience of fighting with moogles "Maybe so but the point was if explained poorly anyone with magic in the world would have picked up on if there was dangerous magic exposure within the city by now. You worry far to much about us mage people"
Satoshi laughed picturing their stories "Sounds like they got karma there but all the chocobo talk is making me wish that in my country Chocobos actually roamed about. There aren't any at all in the wilderness so I guess they all got hunted out elsewhere" she sighed playing with her food a little.
Kumool nodded a little embarrassed "Yeah well... kupo some of us need part time jobs in order to pay off debts as judge training kupo, is quite expensive when not chosen by them for scholarship. Plus I always have to buy new knives since I can't always collect them once thrown kupo" he admitted shufling about

Oassu nodded "I guess your right the nu mou would certainly have picked up on if the magic levels were dangerous by now" he said "Just gonna grab a quick shower be back in 5" he called out as he stepped into the shower.
Gil nodded "It might be that the chocobo's just don't populate your area might not have been all over the world" he said enjoying his pancakes "Still they are adorable but when did you take down a chocobo rustler Seph?" he asked.
Itaka snickered "Black chocobo's are dangerous and fierce creatures if angered, Boco is a good example should see the fireballs he launches if angry" he said "Though it's cute seeing the little black chocobo's spit mini fireballs at each other" he said.
Mari frowned unsure why Kumool was so anxious "Well that's one downside to knive I suppose, why do you want to become a judge anyway?" she asked as they stepped outside the arena gates Mari glanced over to where people were already buying tickets to matches.
Zadina frowned "Are you ok Miss Hebal? You squeaked?" he said trying to imagine it "And those pom poms must be really small, does that mean they don't have wings when they are first born?" he asked

Hebal giggled changing onto the next up esculator "Yep I'm fine thanks Zadina, was just thinking its such a cute image. And I haven't seen them but maybe the wings are so small that you can't yet see them poking out through the fur. They don't exactly talk much and don't even say kupo when first born. Apparently that little habbit appears 3 months later and until then its just squeak squeak squeak"
Seph paused having stuffed her face too full to speak for a good half a minute "There might not be any because your area has a high number of chocobo eating fiends so they stay away from your lands. Anyway one random night some bunch of thugs pulled up with a wagon and tried loading my chocobos onto it, I was like 18 at the time. Thats literally how old I was not like human equivelents or anything"

"Ok then but don't use up all the soap and things" Felina called back getting up after a long debate in her mind as to whether or not to get up and use the hot tub as a bath. Though what about you Oassu, have you any ideas of things you would like to do once hitched, it's not all about what I would like to do after all" she asked turning the water on.
Satoshi nodded picking one piece of toast up "Mmm... well still it does make me feel a little left out for not having any stories to share about them. But that was like three centuries ago when you still went about in your human form if my memory is correct. Bet they thought a little lady like you wasn't going to be much of a threat" she remarked.
Kumool hesitated somewhat surprise people were still able to purchase tickets from the arena "Well kupo I have a score to settle wth someone and I figured it would be the best way would be by becoming a judge kupo. The rest I don't want to say because its personal. But are you ok kupo? You look troubled" he asked seeing her frown.

Oassu paused in thought while washing his hair "Hmm I would quite like to own an island" he pondered "Just for us and the kids but maybe that's a bit much," he said
Gil frowned "How old must you have been in human years then....like...9?" he said uncertainly "Even younger? Forgive me I don't know how demon's age since it can vary from demon to demon" he said
Mari nodded "I'm fine," she said noting anger breaking out at the ticket office "I suppose you have your reasons but you don't need to be a judge to exact vengeance you know?" she said sitting down to give Sophia a cuddle when she waddled towards her.
Zadina smiled "That does sound very cute actually I wouldn't mind cuddling one myself still maybe we'll see some when we get to the moogle district if we're lucky" he said.
Itaka grinned "A brave little girl you musta been though I don't get why people would bother stealing chocobo's they are common enough in the wild people shouldn't need to swipe them from farms and stuff" he said

Seph scratched her chin in thought "Well I'm expected to live to an age of about 2000 years which is like twice as long as Alpha's species. In the past 3 centuries I've only ages by about 10 years. But anyway back to the point, because I'm half demon I aged normally and lived as a normal human until the age of about 15 and then my aging slowed down and I grew wings and all that. So still looked about 15 but a few years in which I hung around in town was enough for people to think I just looked young for my age when I used a human form" she explained looking around to make sure everyone was still following "And the ones on the farm, well some of them were blue and green making them more valuble than the average chocobo"
Hebal nodded saluting Zadina "Yep no doubt some moogle mommas will be carrying their little babies around either in a pram or on their backs in little carry things. Though of course they might say no because trust me, mommas can be very protective of their kids, especially new borns" she warned
