Khalid shifted Kira so that it would be easier for him, and for her. He paused, trying to decide if he should gouge her eye out first or just pop the thing in. He decided on the latter, and held Kira's left eyelid up, trying to remember which eye she had lost before. He began to push the golden orb into the already occupied socket, and couldn't help but wonder what kind of trouble he would be in later. Ryou would be furious, but Atem would be out for his blood. Again. Khalid had the entire Millennium Eye in Kira's socket without realizing it, he was so deep in thought. He pulled his hand away, and realized that he probably should have gotten some towels first. He quickly got up and left the room, needing to move fast before the blood got everywhere.

There was an awful squishing sound as the eye was fored into the socket dissloving the eye behind it. It quickly started to bleed hevey blood running down her face.

Pegasus hated airplane rides, even when it was on his own private jet. Being in the air for so long made him queasy. He ordered Croque away and practically stumbled into the mansion. He was glad, for once, that it was quiet. Nobody was screaming at each other, Kai wasn't bawling, there were no disturbing thuds. In fact... he couldn't hear anything. He had seen the car, though. It was the middle of the day. Nobody would be sleeping. "Hello?"
Pegasus wandered through the lower level, frowning when he didn't come upon anybody. Of the other five people who lived here, plus random guests, why was nobody answering? He headed upstairs, scratching his head in confusion, mumbling a little to himself. "Maybe they just went out for a walk... or to lunch... Or just moved out." He pushed open doors as he came to them, peering into each room. He couldn't help but let out a supressed cry when he came upon the only occupied one-- and found the two younger ones in bed.
He had been about to retreat when he realized that nothing inappropiate was going on. In fact, they were both on top of the sheets. He crept into the room, going over to Ryou's side of the bed first, glancing around the room and over his shoulder, wondering if anyone else was in. He prodded at the boy, but he was practically comatose. Frowning, he looked towards Kira to see if she was the same-- and let out another cry of disbelief.
Blood, ugly and bright crimson, stained her face and her shirt and the pillow. But despite all of the blood that was there, it didn't hide the mocking, familiar, haunting item of his nightmares-- the Millennium Eye. Even though she was unconscious, it stared at him, crying a deep river of blood. He practically flew to her side of the bed, checking to make sure she still breathed and lived-- and was relieved to find that she was alive. This was recent, he could tell. He tilted her head to try and see if anything could be done-- but he knew by personal experience that it was probably too late to try and reverse the damage.
But who could have done this? For a moment, Pegasus's gaze flickered towards Ryou. No, not him. He loved the girl too deeply to have donething so terrible. His darker half? Perhaps. But there was no blood on his hands, and it made no sense for him to have immediately fallen asleep so deeply. He had to be drugged. Who did that leave? The twins. At least, that was what Pegasus thought of them in his mind. And what about Kai? Oh, Pegasus prayed to whatever god there might be that the child was safe. He wouldn't put it past the monster who must have done this to hurt a small child, however.
Almost on cue, the door squeaked open. Pegasus's eyes lifted and he saw one of the twins-- Khalid. The violet-haired man seemed a little startled to see him there. He held a bundle of towels, and Pegasus could see clearly the blood that stained his hands, his clothes. "You!" He cried out, rising to his feet. "You did this to her? How dare you! Don't you think that enough punishment has been given?"

As pegasus rose to his feet kiras head floped back down on the bed. She was out cold.

It was a quite few hours before Ryou woke up. Before he opened his eyes, he wondered who was next to him. arms encircled his waist, and a warm body pressed close to his side. Seeing as there were only a few people it could have been, Ryou wasn't exactly too surprised to find Khalid snuggling next to him. What did surprise him was where he was. His head spun dizzily as he struggled to sit up without waking up his sleeping husband. How had he been moved without realizing it? As his vision slided in and out of focus, he decided that he had been given something. His hand touched something wet. He stared at it for a few moments, before realizing it was blood. The entire right side of the bed was bloody. But nobody was there.
Panicked now, Ryou turned to shake Khalid, after checking himself to make sure he wasn't hurt. "Khalid!" He hissed, as sleepy violet eyes opened a crack. "What's going on? Who's hurt? Why is--" He was cut off as Khalid brought his head down for an abrupt, but very passionate kiss. He managed to push his husband away. "No! Tell me what's going on!"
"I found you and Kira in the park and brought you here. She has the Millennium Eye again. Pegasus came back and threw a nice little fit, so I had to knock him out and drag him elsewhere. I thought you'd be scared if you woke up with Kira next to you in the state she had been in, so I took her to another room." Khalid explained in the sharp bluntness that was his usual style. Ryou could only stare at him in dazed astonishment. Khlid got up to his feet, pulling Ryou as well. "Come on, I'll take you to her."
Ryou allowed himself to be pulled up, and stumbled along behind his husband as he was taken to the room he had brought Kira. "Wait-- you gave her the Millennium Eye again?" He asked, as Khalid pushed open the door. Kira had a good deal of gauze wrapped around the left side of her face, and blood-soaked towels were in a pile on the ground. He let out a sharp cry when he saw her. "Why would you do that? She wasn't in any fit state to get it!"

Kira was laying there in a slight daze. She could feel the dark magic tugging at her soul trying to pull her under. She was struggling to stay awake. Her hands tightly grasped the sheats from the pain in her head and in her soul. She had a high fever. Ryou was right. Her body wasent currently strong enough to take the strain. Shewas fighting to stay in the light.

Ryou quickly hurried to her side, forgetting about Khalid. He brought a hand up to her cheek, and nearly winced at how warm she was. He looked up at Khalid, his eyes colder than before. "This isn't good. We have to do something. Take her to a hospital, I don't know..."
"The Millennium Eye can't reject her. Besides, the hospital could only do so much. I think it's more mental and spiritual than actually physical." Khalid said, moving so he was standing behind Ryou, looking down at Kira.
"Look at how much blood she's lost!" Ryou said, shaking with emotion. "And even if the hospital can't help all the way, it's better than nothing. We might be able to get them to take it out, if they can."

Feelings ryou's cool hand on her cheak kira let out a soft groan. She struggled to open her eye. She dident want to go into the darkness "ry..oou..."

Ryou fell utterly silent when Kira spoke. He turned his attention off of Khalid and focused only on her. "Don't worry, Kira, I'm trying to help you. I know this must hurt you. You have to keep fighting until I come up with something, okay?"

A weak smile crossed over kiras face "I love you.." She muttered before her eye closed. She felt as if she was dying.

Ryou felt his earlier strength from before, when he had been snapping at Khalid, drain from him. Tears blurred his vision. He couldn't lose her again... Not now. He took in a sharp breath and might have cried had firm hands not seized him by his shoulders, spun him around, and he was face-to-face with Khalid. His husband slapped him sharply across one cheek, enough to make Ryou's vision fade to black for a moment.
"Get a hold of yourself, Ryou." Khalid snapped, as Ryou looked to him with an angry, somewhat reproachful look. "You are not going to begin bawling. I fyou want to take Kira to the hospital, fine. Let's take her. But I will not have you crying." He shoved Ryou aside-- after giving him a brief kiss. He then checked on Kira, just to make sure she was still alive. He then picked her up. "Go downstairs and start the car. I'll be right there." Ryou nodded and practically ran out of the room.

Kira let out a soft groan as she was picked up. She was very hot from having a high fever. She squirmed for a moment before her body relaxed.

It didn't take long to get to a hospital-- there was one very close to the mansion, and Khalid drove like a maniac. Ryou stayed in the back seat with Kira, worrying over many things. Once they arrived, Khalid didn't waste time in getting her carried in and taken by the nurses and doctors. He kept Ryou close to his side, and once Kira was away, led the boy to the waiting room.
