But Ali wasn't stupid enough to oppose Crow over a simple girl in which he could easily extract and "revive" later on, then give a brand new life as a citizen of Euphoria.*

Wolf almost snapped at Zyler for trying to order him around, but he just grinned in response. "Nobody does right all the time. Not even heroes. You should be used to Mistress's "events" by now." He knew he didn't like it. He figured the only ones who deserved such torture were ones who hurt others, but he wasn't about to oppress his beliefs on anyone, especially his Mistress. "Best to just grin and bear it. You'll survive that way. If you go around fighting everything you don't believe in, you'll make a lot of enemies, cutting your chances of living down. What use are you dead?" His grin then turned almost malicious. "Well, you could allow me to have your body so I can make a few experiments. All for the benefit of science of course." He wasn't one for magic. Technology was his way. It kept him from being completely powerless to those who were magically inclined. "Want a business card for when you die? There could be a bit of a benefit for you as well as others."
