*Nana would probably just enjoy this moment for a while, before actually falling asleep. Her wing would flinch slightly when touched, both of them were also in need of rehabilitation, and were probably a bit sore like the rest of Nana. It was something she would just have to continue dealing with until they were fully healed again. That short surge of pain would also keep Nana up for a short while longer. A short grimance would cross her face, likely unseen though possibly felt. That plus a short huff would he heard, after which Nana would be fine again*

*Mastema stayed as he was with Nana for several more minutes. When those minutes elapsed, Nana was placed in bed before Mastema laid beside her. One arm wrapped around her upper body and his other hand stroked her hair with his fingertips. When Nana was asleep, Mastema would continue on with other things*

*It would take all of about ten to fifteen minutes for Nana to fall into a restful sleep. Mastema had that effect on her, when necessary. Breathing softly, Nana would probably sleep quite well if Mastema stuck around. If not she would just meditate, which wasn't as restful but did allow her body to rest anyhow. Mastema was now free to do what he wished, no matter what that may be. Nana was all right for now, and if she woke up again a little later then perhaps she would make a journal entry. The first in several months*

*At about the same time Trilla had arrived at the library, Than awoke from his light slumber. Right now he was back to reading the files on the disc. The medical report would be almost finished. Right now Than was reading more about the citadel itself: why Mastema had made it. For Than, it didn't make sense that his father had chosen this formerly human city as a place of operations. It puzzled him even more as to why the other buildings of the citadel were left to rot. He felt that Mastema had left most of the citadel unused for another reason*

*Unless disturbed, Trilla and Micha would probably continue to draw. The pictures varried, but it was good practice. Trilla was probably drawing family members and others in the citadel, things she had seen. Micha? Well it was always hard to tell with that boy, plus once he was done with a drawing he'd turn it over and put the other papers he had, on top of it. The two could probably go for hours this way if left be, they seemed happy enough with it*

Chikuso..... so I was right. *Than sighed to himself after reading through another large segment of the disc contents* It's nothing but a front. This citadel is just one big diversion, and all these other projects are just to draw attention away from something else. All of these are just.... parts.... something that contributes to the bigger picture: Zenogais, Omega, the drones, project vanguard, project sahaqiel, and the heart. But nothing about that is here...... just names and information on the separate projects. *Than narrowed his eye at the screen; Mastema had indeed not given him every bit of information. Instead, Thanatos had just received fragments of larger plans. Keeping that thought in the back of his head, Thanatos continued to read further. He was versing himself on what "The Heart" really was* So the barrier is just shielding another shield, another front....... but what would Otosan need an entire city to protect?

*The blast from Orias' lair had attracted a great deal of attention. Slayer was there now, Tyrsais was just leaving, Eecheb had been there when it happened, Mastema was aware aswell. The blast had also attracted another, the nameless creature, the floating eye. It was in the area of Tyrsais lair and Orias' old one. Not the best place to be mind you, but it was curious about the blast and had gone to see the source. It was likely melted ice, glass, and other rubble was present. For now the creature appeared as only a giant half sphere, as it had originally presented itself. It could only be seen from the front or the sides, else one was not able to see it due to the rest of its invisible body, blocking out the view of the eye*

*Proto had decided that he could do more outside of the tower, since the only two people in it seemed to be asleep. The hum of Proto's thrusters could be heard from quite a ways away, and were just as easily seen when he flew overhead. The white glow of his boosters was seen heading towards the destroyed lair, its intent being to clean up some wreckage*
*Than's desk chair was knocked over and his room door flung open. The computer terminal was still on, with no other source lighting the dark room. At Than's directive, he'd been teleported to the control room for the Heart, a place Nana had seen after being taken to the heart to revive. Facing all of the terminals, Thanatos had already noticed the massive, armored doors which lead to the core, the massive swirling of conflicting energy held apart by thin layers of neutral power. Just being near those doors, Than felt a disconcerting resonance within his body, within his aura. That power which held the energies in the core apart had also come into play when Kaiori tried to break out of the citadel, and she'd given up her escape when it did for one reason: the golden energy that resister her was none other than Than's aura. And now, Than knew just where that energy had come from, and it was sitting behind the other door which Nana had not been through. Quickly accessing the terminal beside the door, Than went about bypassing the locks so that he could access the nightmare the disc told him lay beyond it: Armisael's chamber*

*The shadow creature was likely floating around the area. Proto might run into it as he went about his work. Actually if the creature remained vocal, Proto might be able to hear it aswell. One could only guess that if it were still around when Tyrsais arrived back in the area, that the vampire might attack it again. Up until this point, the nameless creature hadn't shown any agression, even after being attacked so many times by Tyrsais. It was a wonder he hadn't figured out it wasn't going to attack him, then again perhaps the only reason Tyrsais attacked it at all, was simply because he didn't like the thing*

*Proto landed near the destroyed site, on the ground. His audio sensors had picked up on the creature's faint sound, but he had no optical confirmation of its presence, probably due to not being at the right angel to see the eye. However, Proto recognized the cry from past experience, and knew that the creature was predominantly non-hostile. Thusly, he wasn't on alert. Proto continued to approach the remains, letting off a single sound to signal the creature, where ever it was, that he was there*
*It took all of two minutes for the locks to be released on the door. Even though he was getting a little further away from the core, the resonance Than felt refused to diminish. The unlocked door slid open; two metal doors slide open behind that one and opened to a semi-circular elevator. The walls around the circular front were pitch black; even as he stepped into the ominously dark elevator, Than could tell that it was only the walls outside the elevator that were black; the actual elevator itself was made of glass. It took only a punch of the single button in the elevator to initiate a descent. Than felt his stomach churning faster*

*The curious sound would only attract the creature to the area more so, to investigate. If anything, both Proto and the creature had something in common.... one large eye. It may not have been something to write home about, but perhaps that would make it easier to get along? Wouldn't Proto get a momentary fright, if he were lifted into the air by the creature. One major difference to most beings the creature had met, Proto was inorganic. True, Zenogais had also run into the creature, but he didn't have one eye, and he wore clothing like those living creatures did*

Proto: *Proto was using his foot to systematically push small pieces of rubble into one place. Proto would take care of the large pieces later. For the moment, his action seemed rather life like. Very few bipedal robots could probably maintain balance on one foot the way Proto did right now*
*The elevator continued downward, though the downward motion of the elevator could probably never take it as far down as Thanatos's heart was at the moment. After a few long moments of seeing nothing but blackness, the blackness suddenly gave way to a rather vibrant light; Than was almost surprised enough to fall back against the elevator door. The room, the chamber, in front of him must've been at least as large as an entire quarter of the citadel. An alien green light seemed to encompass the room, which was cylindrical in nature and looked as if it could revolve one direction or another. Every 90 degrees along the cylindrical room, there was a path from one end of the room to the other, and those paths had smaller cross walks connecting them at regular intervals, so the room was divided into blocks, and each block seemed to hold a dozen or so large, glassy tubes, not unlike that which Xol had used to regenerate Phia. With the size of the room and the quantity of tubes in it, Than gulped as the elevator came to a stop and the doors opened. He felt like his organs wanted to leap out through his throat*

*Floating into the area, the shadow creature spotted Proto. The bot looked a little odd, from where the creature was floating. Up on one leg? Silently the eye would float closer, trying to see what the strange white robot was doing. It appeared to be making small piles of junk by pushing debris into one place. Why was it doing that though? Was there a pourpose or a point to pushing rubble into piles? Once about five or six meters away, the eye would stop and continue to watch*

Mastema *Mastema knew that Nana said those words out of affection more than jest* My company is always available to you unless circumstances are restrictive. In truth there are very few places I could actually be, and more often that not, I should hope to find myself at your side *Mastema crossed one leg over the other and kept himself at an angle leaned toward Nana*Sho: No.... you just sorta flipped out.... *Sho was still apprehensive of what disorders this man might have had to make him act in such a way*.... I think you're a little screwed in the head. "I did? Damn... that's a new one. You're right though, my head's pretty messed up. Complete and total memory loss up till about a year ago. Did a spell here, where... someone... messed it up even further. Then there was a big empty period where a lot that I only partially remember happened. The "flipping out" probably came from there." He grins and has his psychic hands wave at Sho. "No worries though, I'm mostly harmless. This is about the extend of my strengths."

Dammit, I said I was gonna stay with the kid until his hearing returned! I want to apologise, first chance I get! Besides, where the bloody hell do you expect me to go!? In case you hadn't noticed, my place just blew up! *Orias was getting rather annoyed, even though he knew he would probably regret his words later*
