Eara had been gaping in disbelief, but blushed, hiding her face in her hands. "Fir, quit teasing me!" she stuck out her tongue, just blushing deeper. "I'm not going to say I didn't enjoy it! I ******** hate cats... but... but.... I didn't expect it..."
She bit her lip and grinned. "And as for all the sentimental crap, I'm Little Rose for a reason."

Shiori kissed him gently. "Al-chan... sometimes we make mistakes. She'll be alright. I doubt Kazuhiko'll let anything bad happen to her."

Which was true.
Kazuhiko had teleported to the Rats base and burst inside, sighing deeply. He didn't care about anyone, or anything.
For all he knew, Jules had cured her already. All the more reason to see her.
Bright Eyes and he were going to talk one way or another.

"I'm not used to guns." Eara shrugged. "Weapons in my day... well... Not exactly explosive until we started blowing s**t up." she smiled slightly. "Burning things down. Nothing like that."

"Where's Bright Eyes?" Kazuhiko asked Pixel firmly, although he didn't necessarily hate her.
How he spoke and approached her said that much. He only had one concern.

"I'm sure you'll give me all the welcome I need." Eara rolled her eyes, laughing quietly. "You certainly have a way of welcoming everyone else."

Kazuhiko nodded grimly. "I knew that." he whispered, brushing past her and starting to navigate the halls, "I was asking where she was."
It didn't take him long to find her. He moved to her bedside quietly, holding his hands over her forehead.
"You really need to wake up." he sighed, starting to heal her quickly. "I can't exactly stay here for very long."

Shiori nodded. "You have a point." she agreed. "So that means.. if you live, you're going to fight?"
She was watching him closely, trying to read him as easily as he was reading her.
"It'll be dangerous... If something happens to you, to your son, your grandson...."
She didn't even want to imagine what that would mean for her.

"But what will the people do under Konton...? Aoki...? The Muse?" Shiori challenged him. "The first time, you refused to leave so that you could protect the throne... You're not going to do so again?? What if they try to attack??"

Kaguyo was thinking along similar lines, quietly making her way through the hallway.
Gods, did her head hurt. She could hardly think about anything except Ainsu and going to bed; even the walk to her room seemed to take decades too long. She flung open her door lazily, pausing a few steps in to survey the silent, empty room; for all its rich furnishings, she didn't feel comforted.
"Su-kun..." she sighed deeply, moving to her bed and taking off her shoes. She changed into a tank top and a pair of sleeping shorts, closing her eyes as she stood by the bed. Her hair was a mess, absolutely disheveled; a shower wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.
She crawled into bed, trying to occupy her mind with thoughts of anyone, anything but Ainsu. She was starting to get a little bit of pudge on her stomach for the first time since... well, since she was a child.
Stressed. She'd have to work out more after all this was over, try and keep her figure.
She closed her eyes, trying to still the endless flow of thoughts running through her mind. Lucky for her, it was almost effortless to fall asleep.

Kaguyo seemed to smile at first, seeming to settle into the bed peacefully; it wasn't until almost a minute later she started, rolling over to look up at him.
She was startled to say the least. She blinked, gaping a bit, holding his hand gently. "Su-kun...!" she whispered, brightening; even if she was tired, she still had a soft glow about her, a small star. "You're alright...!"
She sat up and hugged him tightly, nuzzling his upper stomach. "Su-kun..."

Shiori nodded slowly. "I understand..."
But she still seemed depressed, trying to sort through her thoughts. She didn't want to be alone, certainly not here.
She could almost feel her death waiting around the corner.
