No matter how much I want to play as Geno I really think he has absolutely no chance of getting in as either a playable character, or even an AT. Square Enix stills owns his soul as far as I have heard, and I am still a strong believer that the last 3rd Party character will be Capcoms Megaman.

Besides that weren't Nintendo and Square's relationship quite rocky for a little while there?


Now here's a thought: Geno is owned by SquareEnix. While this is true, have we even seen Geno in ANY other Square related game? Nooooooo... it's like they're treating him as some sort of flash-in-the-pan character, like the Noid! Let's face it folks, They have no use for him; they probably won't admit it. I think they should just sell his rights to Nintendo, so he lives again!!!

Oh yeah, speaking of the Noid, I caught him ruining my pizza, so I snapped his neck. Perhaps it was the Noid who should've avoided me!


Geno is owned by square, But! Square has been working with Nintendo for a bunch of games including FF3 and putting it on the DS and Dragon Quest Monsters Joker and they are designing a new FF Crystal Chronicles for DS or Wii I dont remember. sweatdrop
Also Geno was in Mario and Luigi Superstar or partners in time not sure.
and he's the second most wanted third party character (behind Sonic) and Megaman is third. Capcom is also good friends with Nintendo
They both have good chances so.. Put them both in! scream scream

Okay here's the deal with Geno. Square (which now know as Square Enix) has a contract with Nintendo. After many years Nintendo looked back at the contract and decided to play with the words of the contract, as long as Nintendo doesn't claims Geno as their own character (cameos are okay)
or use a character and explain more of the character, than Nintendo can use that character.
The only thing Nintendo could do with Geno was use him as a cameo that explains how to play a mini game and no more.

If Nintendo wanted to put him in Brawl, that means they would have to give Geno a voice and animation (improving upon a character that isn't legally theirs) the same thing if using Geno as an Assist Trophy (AT).

Now, since Capcom is working with Nintendo on Brawl (the composers for music), Nintendo also let Capcom work on several Zelda titles in the past:
Oracle: Ages
Oracle: Seasons
Minish Cap
and the remake of Link to the Past for the GBA (you know the SNES one)

Another thing:

Mega Man originated on the NES
Several games have been made on the NES, SNES, N64, GBA and DS.
Nintendo has strong relationship with Capcom.

Oh yeah, Enix is making A Crystal Cronicals for both the Wii and the DS.
The DS version is the kinda of the same of the GameCube but the Wii version is like a better version of Kingdom Hearts battle system.
I SAID BATTLE SYSTEM!!!
Anyway, it's all in real time and you shake the Wii remote around to fight.
Not much is know about it.

My speculation:
Since Sega is obviously helping Nintendo on Brawl, there's going to be a Sonic Stage and Sonic music and possible a Tails AT. This is all my speculation anyway.
