Felina smiled and nodded her head "Of course he's on good terms with his guardians, its very rare for them not to be close to their summoners since they get no special privelages for doing the job other than they get to spend more time with the summoner. I have met one or two of his, they are very nice people mostly though one is a little on the strange side and smells like a pub" she giggled
Satoshi rolled her eyes shivering a little "the cold is alright for some of us but not all you know. Though I take it you guys are loving it here, particularly you and Chobi" she told Seph as she cautiously patted the chocobos beak "Feeling sore still from your injuries yesterday Itaka?"
Kumool paused allowing Mari to walk in front not having a clue where she was wanting to go "Kupo! You could say that. Tensions are running real high between all the judges kupo with many a squabble behind the scenes and still only one person they've been looking for has been arrested" he admitted in a low voice so nobody else around could hear

Oassu nodded "I guess so and are they both elves?" he chuckled "I bet Amane will have a great time on her pilgrimage especially with Zadina and her friends going along for the ride" he said
Gil smiled "Yep only a few are left though they get all the hospitality until the end of the tournament when they are kicked out" he said opening the door and stepping inside "First time in the combatant's cafe" he mused thinking it was a lot less restaurant-like than it looked more like a diner.
Mari frowned "Sounds like a lot of trouble...who are they looking for? It does do me good hearing they are making progress though it was one of my friends that was attacked yesterday after all" she said watching as Ivy picked up a daisy nearby.
Itaka grimaced "No I'm much better thank you" he muttered following Gil into the diner and taking a seat "Still best get some breakfast in you guys you'll need your strength for the finals later today" he said pulling the menu towards him.
Zadina paused "I live in a castle outside the forest, a little bit more privacy than the nobles in the city" he said "Not as big as the palace but its comfy enough on the inside" he said "And maybe she just doesn't like exploring the house much?" he suggested uncertain as to how Amane couldn't get around her house.

Hebal raised her eyebrow, this being the first time she had heared Zadina mention his place "She may not be too explorative but her pal Ardie definitely is and probably insisted on seeing every room. Anyway tell me a bit more about your house as it has me curious? Any servants or butlers or stables and wheres your room or are you like Felina and have like 5 different bedrooms?"
Seph smirked seeing Itaka's reaction as she leaned over his shoulder to read the menu so the other couple could read the only other one on the table "I was in this place before the other day, the food is actually pretty good if a little basic. How are you Satoshi, you got hurt yesterday too didn't you?" she asked drawing the subject away from Itaka's injuries.

Felina leaned back scooping up a good portion of her beans with her fork "Well the rest of the past away since one was a human, one was a nu mou and another was a viera. But out of the two who remain, one is an elf and another is an angel like Kimino only a lot older" she informed him with a small sigh "If summoners and guardians aren't having a good time on their pilgrimage then they aren't doing it right so sure... I'm just worried the aging thing may shock Zadina a little even with Amane"
Satoshi blushed a little not aware she had mentioned receiving any "Yeh I'm ok, just a few cuts and bruises but nothing thats going to scar or anything" she shrugged checking out the menu "I'll be needed all the strength I can get too if I spend the day with Hebal later though I haven't really got anything arranged to do during the day while Gil's fighting"
Kumool tilted his head not surprised by Ivy's liking of flowers "I dunno who they are looking for, didn't say though one of the judges got arrested on suspicion of corruption and having something to do with hiring hitmen and bribing competitors. Thats what my teacher let slip that is" he muttered reluctant to name anyone specifically.

Oassu raised an eyebrow "He had an angel with him? That's some high class guardian here was me thinking they were all in the employ of the clan" he said patting Felina on the shoulder "And why so worried about Zadina?" he asked.
Gil nodded "That's right you need to find a way to get Hebal and that's attention" he said pulling another menu from an empty table nearby to browse "You'd best get on that as soon as you can knowing Hebal she's probably bounding all over the city." he said.
Itaka nodded "You should use the moogle whistle I gave you a while back, I could actually do with sending a message too" he said "Wonder if they'll get through the tight security around the arena though" he muttered
Zadina blushed "Erm actually we have our own private army, just a small unit of elites, castles do need guarding after all" he mumbled quietly "Other than that the usual staff to look after a castle and stuff" he said quietly.
Mari frowned "Corruption in the judges....how dishonourable you should take heed not to be like that when you are a judge" she muttered disappointed "But what sort of weapon do you use Kumool?" she asked watching as Ivy flew about with the flower.

Seph laughed nodding their head "Yeah I think they could get by delivering the mail, I've never seen a moogle fail to deliver mail and Alpha always gets mail from Psy from them every other week despite being in such a remote out of the way place filled with bandits so I doubt a few judges could cause bother" she confidently stated moving away from the menu "Right, I know what I want for sure"
Hebal let out a low whistle jumping over what felt like a very long line of old nu mou stopping everyone from moving past them as they made their slow pace across the city "Ooh sounds pretty nice and flashy to me, Amane has always wanted to see a castle, wish I had my own private army as that would be pretty cool" she grinned waiting for her next instruction as a fork in the road came up.

Felina scratched her neck "It's just it might be a bit weird for him if Amane is like a grown woman by the time he even hits puberty or weird for her even. As for the angel, some would say that she was a high class guardian for a high class person, it's a big job protecting a king let alone a king who summons. Apparently dad used to fancy her before he met mum" she added with a small shudder.
Satoshi groaned examining the menu more carefully "In that case I'm eating two breakfasts for the amount of clones I'll be needing to search the city for one over speedy viera" she decided bending down to remove the moogle whistle from her bag "I almost forgot about this, not needed to summon the moogles really recently, want me to summon one now or later?"
Kumool reached into his pockets choosing to ignore the first comment made by Mari "These kupo, are some of the many knives that I fight with. These are the just the ones I keep hold of rather than throw at people and risk losing. You samurai people probably don't approve of these weapons kupo, but they are harder to use than you think"

Oassu snickered "Your dad in love with an angel, there was me thinking they were all wrapped up in religious pursuits, I wonder if she's with Kimino in the clan now but Zadina's on the verge of puberty already I'm sure he'll at least start it when Amane's a teenager." he said.
Gil chuckled "Yeah you will but send a message now, makes it easier to get a hold of them" he said deciding what he wanted from the menu "Plus it'll save you a meal of energy for all your clones" he said.
Mari shrugged having no strong opinion of knives "It's not the weapon that's bad it's how you use them but you fight with knives like a friend of mine, not throwing them as ranged weapons but I don't know it seems like good armour would just deflect them....same with a bow and arrow actually" she pondered as she moved closer to a crowd of people waiting by the board.
Itaka nodded "Sure just that security is tight but I guess they'll be allowed through" he said unsure what to order "What are you having Seph?" he asked deciding he'd have a drink.
Zadina giggled "She'd get lost in my castle for sure you know" he said "But the army doesn't do much, just protects the castle and stomps out fiends nearby it wouldn't be right to just use them for whatever" he said

Seph grinned leaning back into the seat while she massaged her tail and watched Chobi through the window "I'm going to have three croissants, 2 blueberry muffins and a cheese toasty for breakfast along with a big pint full of milk "Maybe I'll also go for the cereal too actually, it looks interesting" she added noting what looked like multicoloured cornflakes being delivered to someone else in the room.
Hebal giggled nodding her head "Sure but since you know in advance you could always be her little tour guide and navigator. Alternatively you could put up loads of little sign posts leading to the main bits though not the secret passages or else they wouldn't be much of a secret anymore" she cheerfully suggested bouncing up and down on the spot "So where do we go now Zadina, up this esculator or carry on a bit on this level?"

Felina laughed "Yeah though apparently the feelings were never returned which I guess is fortunate for you as it means you get me. Can always ask her yourself at the wedding as no doubt she will appear at Elithana's and possibly our own. But puberty can happen at varied times, your just assuming he is one of the early starters for her to be a teenager" she pointed out knowing some elves didn't start growing up a bit for up to a century later.
Satoshi smiled checking around the room first before blowing as hard as she could through the whistle "Hmm... I thought it would make some sort of sound but oh well, maybe it doesn't need sound to work. You're going to be hyper after a breakfast like that Seph, you'll be using up most of your energy just by being conscious" she joked
Kumool stopped briefly to give one moogle a small look of sympathy as she rushed past them "Poor things being bound to those horrible instruments" he muttered to himself hurrying after Mari. I use knives for none throwing purposes too kupo. And theres a range of factors that effect effectiveness kupo; like how good the thrower/bowman is, how good the armour is and equipment used. Everyone knows for example fire arrows weaken armour on contact kupo and make it easier to penatrate. Plus theres holes and weak spots all over. Besides kupo if the armour is that good all close up weapons would struggle too" he lectured Mari defensively.

Oassu nodded "I guess so, wonder what she does now" he shrugged "And isn't Zadina like...12 in human years he'll be breaking into teenage years soon right? Can't be that long to advance one human year" he said.
Gil shrugged "Might work like a dog whistle I guess I think I'll have the pancakes today" he said closing the menu "And some sausages for my good pal Enkidu here" he said petting his dog.
Mari had no idea what Kumool was talking about watching as the moogle wooshed past "She's in a hurry, but sure I just don't think knives look like they have much force to them, would need to be a really strong throw I prefer my bushido" she said deciding not to move further into the crowd for Sophia.
Itaka chuckled eyeing the cereal "More like packed full of sugar if you ask me" he said "Your paying for it all since your eating so much, this place ain't free I don't think" he snickered.
Zadina nodded "I could do that assuming she ever gets to go to my castle but I doubt we'll need to for like ever" he said trying to focus on the map while Hebal bounced "Could you please stand still for a minute Miss Hebal you're making it very hard to read the map" he said

Seph shrugged "Sugar and starch is good for energy though I wasn't expecting anyone to cover my breakfast for me. And maybe that whistle is just too quiet for us to hear, can't be dog whistle because I usually can pick up in those sounds. Anyway give the whistle some time as the moogles can't just pop up out of thin air" she smirked rubbing her tummy.
Hebal gasped standing as still as could be for Zadina "oops sorry about that, I just get a little over excited at times. You could take her there if you ever go nearby when on that pilgrimage. I'm started to get really excited about the dragon festival now, it will be the first time we've really had one together in like 5 or 6 years so feel free to suggest how to make it special sometime" she commented before trying her hardest to keep quiet for her friend to think with the map.

Felina rubbed her ear trying to work out maths "I think roughly since I don't know the exact age thing but Amane will be like 17 or 18 by the time Zadina hits 13/14 in human years since 3 viera years is like the equivelent of 1 human year and roughly 20 elf years make 1 human year" she explained having to use a notepad by the bed to calculate "Correct me if I'm wrong"
Satoshi laughed quietly at Seph and Itaka's coversation "Oh, I thought the point of dog whistles was that they were so high pitched nobody could hear then? And see, they seem to manage almost instant appearences" she added noting the moogle almost out of breath as she rushed into the diner "Right feel free to go first Itaka"
Kumool smiled and nodded his head "Yep kupo thats what happens to mognet moogles when they hear a moogle whistle, its like they have an uncontrollable urge to go to that sound no matter how important their current task is kupo. But trust me you won't find a throw better than mine with 5+ hours a day training. Anyway you may as well take a seat as its a little early to find out match ups. Alternatively kupo ... perhaps we should go off site for a little while kupo. Theres some things that I'm sure you would appreciate knowing kupo that can't be mentioned here kupo" he whispered nervously

Itaka nodded "Yeah please seek out Barbaros Carmi and tell him to meet Itaka at the arena gates at 12" he said to the moogle while the human waiter came over to take their orders.
Gil nodded "Enkidu would react too if it was a dog whistle" he said tipping the moogle "But I'll have the pancakes and some sausages too" he said to the waiter.
Mari frowned "Wonder how they train that...." she muttered watching as Ivy settled down on her shoulder "Still what do you mean? Something I would appreciate knowing?" she asked puzzled by Kumool.
Zadina giggled "I suppose so if we need a place to stay for the night it's fine still it'll be an awesome dragon festival just relax a moment" he said focusing on the map "we need to head up to the next level then we should be able to see it" he said

Seph smiled at the waiter pretending not to notice that he was stuggling to keep up with her order "Ok just to confirm since I have a terrible memory I would like 3 croissants filled with jam, 2 blueberry muffins, a cheese toasty and some cereal with lots of milk" she stated again deciding to help him out then twisted her body back around towards her friends "Right now where were we... oh yeah sure I can pick up on higher frequency sounds though my ears aren't as sensitive as moogle ones I bet" she told them while stroking Itaka's leg under the table
Hebal clapped her hands happily and skipped up onto the esculator now instructions were given "Ok then Zadina lets keep lookout" she cheered tightening her grip on his legs keeping him securely on her shoulders. Ahh... can't wait for such awesome times not that this place isn't fun or anything but lets take lots of moogle pictures while here that we can show Amane later"
